I think you could turn the 2 outer fireboxes sideways if you want to slim down the back, just use the block pipes as a wall if you want to blend the body into the cab without the cab sticking out so far. 🤷♂️
it looks like the original snowpiercer, just a little more boxy and less round.

Can you send excess pressure from the rear boiler to the front boiler? Slow down it's explosions and keep the front at a higher pressure?
I have so many favorites from the show that I can't list them all, so I'll name a few. Thomas Percy and the post train, Donald and Douglas, Escape, Oliver owns up, and many more from the models seasons, except the HiT era.
My favorites from the CGI series are Old reliable Edward, and many others from seasons 17-21.

I dont think frantic saw my comment on the last video, but there is a way to get infinite power out of the steam. Now I dont mean electrical power, I mean RPS / RPM. You only need a small firebox, a single boiler, and no condensers. All you need to do is get roughly 4 bars of pressure buildup, then shut off the boiler. the steam however, is sent through a 1 way valve, and pumped between each piston in a loop. This does work!! Just make sure you shut down the firebox by cutting air supply, or you will have issues.

Frantic if you want your locomotive to be for passenger use an aerodynamic shape suits the style but if you want your locomotive for cargo transportation a boxier look is better

Because the train is so different anyways. Why not put the funnels at the sides of the train at the front? Make sure its down a little down low so the smoke wont block your view every 5 seconds.
Personally I'd recommend Edward's Exploit, it's the peak of Thomas stories.

If you take the design the right way it kind of looks like a steampunk bullet train

Realisticly, you would want to send the exhaust steam from the back cylinder, to the front. This is how basically all mallet/articulatedd locomotives work. High pressure cylinders in the rear, highpressure cylinders in the front. Doing it from one side to the other would never work out.

hey ithink it looks great maybe you could build it after an german train it looks exactly like that
why 3 boilers? a single boiler tends to be a bit more efficient, and you will want to bridge the steam input between all pistons and bridge all the output to a single Condenser and make sure the condenser is as far away from the boiler and firebox as possible as the residual heat can cause the condenser to run hot and sometimes not work causing over-Pressure and boom. So what i have found is that as long as there is pressure be it 1 or 8 the engine will get to the same speed and is solely dependent on number of pistons and size of pistons. plus you loose the weight that the other boiler and condensers add to your creation.

Yay, you followed my proposal! With the 30-ish m/s you are at about the same max speed that i archived, too. So maybe 30m/s or ~110 km/h is the max Speed for Steam Trains/Wheels? I did another Test with normal Train Wheels and a large Electric Motor with infinite Electricity. With that i could reach Speed way above 250km/s, with an extremely high Chance of derailing with each Curve. So maybe the Steam Train Speed Limit is some sort of Failsafe?
Tbh i should have said this a long time a go but try makeing it a camel back engine a camel back engine is just an engine with a cab on top of the boiler and in the middle of the engine it is long and a lot smoke comes out of the fire boxes and put the controls in the cab B. the cab at the back is Cab A and the cab in the middle Cab B.
EDIT: " put the controls in cab B " what i mean is put the controls in the middle cab.

Anyone have any ideas why my steam locomotive does not have black smoke yet seemingly everyone else’s does?
If it is not reaching 200° It will be grey. If the forebox is hot enough but no black smoke, it may be a setting or game issue.
