"Queen of the Reich" was recorded in honour of the mighty Queensryche who recorded this song 38 years ago. The song is written by Chris DeGarmo and featured on the classic Queensryche EP.

Definitely. The production quality is way beyond what was possible in the 1980s. And the musicians are super-tight. The engineer totally highlighted how good the musicians were.

Watch this 60 year old metal head from suburban Cleveland, grit his teeth and clench his fist while shaking his head up and down, wondering how such a great cover version of this killer song is even possible?! My effing god, that was SO good! I first saw Queensryche for 'The Warning' tour at L'Amour rock club in Brooklyn, NY 'back in the day'!

Killed. Dead. Wow! That was quite impressive: the musicians were on with the studio track with just enough variance to know that it wasn't the original track. The vocalist was damned-close to Tate. Great job on the upper register stuff! Great job all around!
This song is the first song of Queensrych I heard. It was 1984 when I was 14. I listened to it every day.I still have the mini album.

I first listened to it during my teenage years in the 2000s while I'm learning to play metal on guitars. I'm 33 right now but the 80's is the greatest decade in music IMO

I was 12 in 1984 however; I have heard this song for the first time in 2021. It was very hard to get rock and Metal songs in India those days. I had heard other songs like Empire and Silent Lucidity. The latest song I heard was The eye of the stranger.

@John Foxton you would be surprised. The guy is on tour now and sounds amazing. Watch his tour videos. Tbh he does it effortlessly, I wish he did have a bit more umpf left it looks a little lazy but at 63 he deserves it.

This popped up on my UA-cam playlist. I was listening (not watching) and thought is WAS Queensyryche. Holy crap - I was floored when I saw it was a cover.
The song ( on an e.p. ) that started it all for Queensryche in most of the country. So happy they did this in concert with Geoff decades later. I was at their very first show in my area.
