Graceland is an amazing place to visit. My Mom and Dad are from Memphis so it made sense for my Wife, Daughter, and myself to see Graceland. It was amazing! I became a fan after seeing that estate. The house itself, all his cars and play vehicles, the Lisa Marie ( aircraft ). He was such a talent that left waayyyy tooo early!

@@inaschultz1431 Yes, Linda Thompson was a spendthrift, and a gold digger. She used Elvis just like all the rest. Still loves Elvis?! Let's put it this way; she loves the limelight. The best way to honor Elvis is to be loving, kind and generous. Elvis was a great philanthropist, giving over $100,000 every year at Christmas to a plethora of charities. Unlike Elvis, all these people were users and takers. If a person truly loved Elvis, they would seriously become givers and philanthropists. Lisa Marie received awards for her philanthropy. What a shame that she's gone. Now there's really no one to continue his legacy. Riley seems like a nice lady, but she's no Lisa Marie, besides she never even met her grandfather.

ELVIS was her boyfriend and she NEVER got over him. The fact that Lisa called her BEFORE calling her Mom says everything you need to know. The Memphis Mafia always says "if Linda had been there Elvis would still be alive." That's alot to put on her shoulders! She was so young and had already saved his life 5 times! She didn't sleep unless Elvis was next to her. She is EVERY BIT AS NICE IN REAL LIFE, AS SHE SEEMS ONLINE. She is GENUINELY that nice. NEVER sold Elvis out, Still wears his engagement ring, and even her Children are Elvis fans. That says alot about her and how she has spoken of him behind closed doors. ❤️ She allowed Elvis to party with other girls when she was away, She is THE ONLY WOMAN Elvis ever dated he didn't want to makeover. She caught Elvis eye because he said she had more style THEN HIM!! She was my favorite HeeHaw girl as a kid! This narrative seems a bit off. Linda over saw the red/scarlet interior make over. Which was that way when Elvis died and years later. When Priscilla gained control/with a plan for tours, she took the GAWDY heavy scarlet red out and returned Graceland back to its former glory. Funny, the peacocks Linda added, make more a statement in the white carpeted room than they did in the red carpeted dark room. Linda is standing before the peacocks because that was her work. The rest of the rooms "quiet" design was not hers. (Priscilla removed/erased Linda's work).
That dining room with the alcove niches were original to the first owner who was quite wealthy. He hosted soirees and formal dinner parties with numerous photos taken. Elvis kept that element.

If only his family and close friends were allowed upstairs in his lifetime, then it should remain that way forever: his fans should understand this, and let it be. For someone of his stature in the 60's and 70's, that was his private escape from the pressure of fame, and it should be respected without question.
The audacity of visitors feeling they "deserve" access to the upstairs rooms is disgusting to me. Because then the focus is on the way he DIED, rather than the way he LIVED: that only proves this video right. He accomplished so much in the 20 years (1957-1977) that he lived there, so why do people NEED to see what's left of his final moments?
We all know he died in the bathroom: anything beyond that is intrusive, obsessive and ghoulish. The King of bacon, banana and peanut butter sandwiches, didn't die of a heart condition. He succumbed, on the toilet, to chronic constipation. He gave the world enough in his 42 years, with the last 5 leading to his early demise. Let the man rest: you'll live just fine without seeing the upstairs.

Thompson had the respect for Elvis and Lisa Marie to not publish these photos until after the death of Lisa Marie. Never has she had anything bad to say about Elvis or Lisa Marie, this is true love and respect. She is one lady that didn’t have to drag Elvis’s name thru the mud to get public sympathy or earn a living. A marriage or relationship is between two people, not for the world to judge or take sides, both Elvis and Lisa Marie was put in the spot light with claims on their behaviour. Why does a person have to tarnish the names of others to get recognition?

How was she allowed to do that video where she was going through the house claiming to have decorated those rooms herself? Why would Lisa Marie or Priscilla ever allow her to do that? If I were them I would've gotten rid of all traces of that woman from the house. She never married Elvis she has no claim to that house nor any business trying to act like she was his wife or something.

What is wrong with meatloaf, brown gravy and mashed potatoes? Can you even imagine how many calories Elvis burned off in one of his performances? If Elvis wasn’t interested in Linda he wouldn’t have kept her in his realm as long as he did or even went after her in the very beginning of their relationship. There had to be interest in that involvement somewhere or she would have been out of there much sooner than she was. If Elvis, as you say “went down” after Priscilla left him it was probably because he was beating himself up for letting such a “wimp” of a woman get to him (or young teenager girl, Priscilla) and her $$$$$. hungry parents, along with other $$$$$ hungry individuals. Elvis was far too generous for his own good.

Elvis jeweler collaborated story that at 2 AM Elvis had his TCB huge diamond taken out and made into her engagement ring. Not unusual for a man in his 40s to FINALLY meet the love of his life and I immediately propose. Priscilla was the forced marriage, Linda the divorce rebound, all his ladies were there as long as they made his life easy and did not challenge him. Minding Miller was the cool hippy chick, and I believe Gi ger was the real deal.
