Ugh! You had to bring up Davey Camlin - I was at that race in DuQuoin that was brutal to see! And was really no one’s fault. Shaun’s bike seizing was a freak happening.

That was a great interview by CTEX. I am 100% in agreement with what he said. I might add that the answer in the future is to just put them all on 450s... that is where the really great racing is even in AFT. You don't t really need twins to have great racing. And as Cory points out a 450 mx bike from many manufacturers, is already made for you mostly right from many factories! Great Podcast you 2.

While I want to agree with you, and modern DTX bikes are great, nothing compares with tight twins racing

Motorsports are too hard to do. It's much easier to get stoned and stare at your cell phone.

and that is exactly what the youth do these days....racing contains some manual labor too and that is also a no no. But they do still race it's just the VR style so they don't have to get out of their chairs.

Marc Marquez, Indian/Harley-Davidson renewed rivalry, but the production value didn't change. County fair tractor pull production just didn't hit, did it?

HD can't compete with Indian anymore. Their ancient technology has finally caught up with them....along with lack of finances these days as they struggle to just survive now. Especially after the Bud Light/WOKE shit they adopted with the new german CEO and moving production out of the US.

Too expensive and too dangerous. Then Locke finished it off.

Flat track racing died when they banned two-strokes. Faster, lighter, a lot less money to maintain. Change the rings every 4 races. Fastest 48 qualify.
Cory, I have modern framer with a 485cc RZ350/YFZ350 based engine, BST carbon fiber rims, hybrid S.S. and ceramic wheel bearings, Lectrons, Ohlins suspension, custom ignition with 4 selective curves, 235 lbs. Your sister could plant her feet on the ground and is used to a lighter ride. I would bring it to you and leave it for you to use.

WTF would he do with that thing??? road race perhaps.... and part of the reason nobody races 2 stroke bikes these days is because they AREN'T faster...4 strokes get the power to the ground much better that is pretty much common knowledge. Where have you been the last 20 years. I much prefer 2 strokes myself but when you earn you living racing you have to race what will earn you the most money and 2 strokes won't cut it anymore.
