My favourite Rock-Type has to be Diancie, but there are others that come close (Garganacl, T-tar, Tyrantrum, Iron Boulder, Hisui-Arcanine - just to name a few).
My guy used the music from the old WWF no Mercy games on the Nintendo 64 for Reggie rock! That made me happy on so many levels that I can’t even describe right now
H. Arcanine is also great in doubles. It’s got the same tools as regular Arcanine with Intimidate, Will-O-Wisp, Helping Hand and Snarl. Not to mention STAB Rock Slide.
I always liked onyx and kabutops but apparently they're super weak competitively. I've never played competitively though so they still work when I'm playing through a game pretending I'm a rock type gym leader.
Great video Mystic. Even though they weren't mentioned these are my favorite rock-types: Golem- it looks cool in design, with the shell reminding me of a turtle...or believe it or not Koopa Troopas from the Mario franchise, and that picture it has in its TCG artwork, where its in the air is cool Rhyhorn evolution line- I like the idea of a heavily-armored rhino Aerodactyl- that thing is a Rock/Flying demonic dragon, with the power to back it...plain and simple Shuckle- the worst when it comes to stats, but that 230 in one of its defenses is downright terrifying, and as someone said on youtube...don't mess with it, especially since you can run what Conway used on his in the Lily of the Valley confrence the fossil Pokemon in Gens IV, V, and VI- all have interesting designs.
I think the top 10 strongest rock types are 10, Regirock 9, Iron thorn 8, Kleavor 7, Tyranatar 6, Hisuian Arcanine 5, Terrakion 4, Glimora 3, Ograpon Coarnerstone Mask 2, Iron Boulder 1, Garganacl and my Favourite Rock type is still Tyranatar.
Nah, Tyranitar is honestly higher up, between the stats, the stab moves, and the ability to set D-Dance, it just makes it able to beat almost anything, put on top of it that it gets a Defensive and Special defense boost in sandstorm, it can tank even 4x super effective fighting moves.
Thank you for this video sir I am new to Pokemon and I love rock types I love how to describe each Pokemon done with such passion and respect 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😃💪🕹️
Personally i love the design idea behind glimmora. Personally i run it more offensive than as a hazard maschine but i just love the contact abilities. That said i wonder if we might get something simmiliar for spikes, rocks and maybe even webs?
It’s more known for being steel, but my favorite rock (and in my top 5 favorite mons period) is Aggron. Design wise I just love it, but I really wish it was more competitively viable.
My favorite Rock type may be slow, it may not have good defenses, but its Rampardos... he's such a good boy (actually tied with Tyrantrum, but I thought I'd talk about Rampy instead, he doesn't get enough attention.)
Aggron is by far my favorite rock, and quite probably my favorite pokemon evolutionary line of all time. I am STILL MAD that they left my boy out of Paldea, while bringing in the likes of Plusle and Minun...
I never thought I'd see a Raw Deal card while watching a pokemon video.... but here we are Also kinda bummed by boy Tyrantrum only made the honorble mentions. Only pokemon I've ever bred for a shiny with good IV's
I actually like Glamorra design wise, don’t know about battle wise since I don’t play competitive and haven’t really played much of Scarlet and Violet with it. However, I can’t help but feel/think Glamorra should have been a middle evolution, in terms of design.
I personally think Rock Pokemon are like Fighting type, since they are physically strong and sturdy. How would you guys rank the following when it comes to who would make an appropriate Rock/Fighting type. Also, if you really think a Pokemon isn't right for Fighting, just say. Okay. Geodude, Graveler, Midnight Lycanroc, Aggron, Tyranitar, Cranidos, Rampardos, Regirock, and if three types could exist, Alolan Graveler (since it automatically/obviously would be Rock-Electric).
It's easy for me to pick my favorite mon of eatch type. Becouse it just so happens that my favorite mons from eatch gen don't have a type in common until Tinkerton. And they all have two types besides Snorlax meaning I only have to think about Grass and Fighting. So My favorite Rock type Pokemon isTyrantrum!
Gamefreak gave 2 100% accurate rock moves to gen 9. They may both be signature moves but hey, i dont think there has ever been a single damaging rock type move in 8 other gens to have 100% accuracy.
Buddy, you're a boy, make a big noise Playing in the street, gonna be a big man someday You got mud on your face, you big disgrace Kicking your can all over the place, singin' We will, we will rock you We will, we will rock you Buddy, you're a young man, hard man Shouting in the street, gonna take on the world someday You got blood on your face, you big disgrace Waving your banner all over the place We will, we will rock you, sing it We will, we will rock you Buddy, you're an old man, poor man Pleading with your eyes, gonna make you some peace someday You got mud on your face, big disgrace Somebody better put you back into your place We will, we will rock you, sing it We will, we will rock you, everybody We will, we will rock you, hmm We will, we will rock you Alright
You always do strongest, but how about you do like a fun rock team (amongst all the other types too) just to include some faves, be it for contests, HMs or just a fun story
Yeah giant salt really is a bulky fucker. I love it though. I went into the game completely blind, staying away from any content about the game pre-release... and when I saw a pokemon literally named table salt... and then table salt stack... the child in me got so giddy. My team existed of garganacl, pamot, annihilape, quaquaval, ceruledge and maushold. An accidentally not shit team lol
Iron Boulder having a strong Rock type move with 100 accuracy is huge. It being able to hit through Protect is a bonus.
Yea it's broken. Mon needs to be banned to Ubers imo
It's not just a Boulder it's a rock.
A big beautiful old rock
Oh, the pioneers used to ride these babies for miles.
Ha classic 👍😆
you like rock types, don’t you squidward

My favorite rock type is Kabutops. I’ve loved it since I was a kid
Nice background music choice 🔥 Loved those games growing up!
The actual rock type list! I have waited a long time for this moment! Also, my fav. rock type is Rhyperior.
I always liked onyx and kabutops but apparently they're super weak competitively. I've never played competitively though so they still work when I'm playing through a game pretending I'm a rock type gym leader.

the fossil Pokemon in Gens IV, V, and VI- all have interesting designs.
I could listen to your Pokemon rap all day.
That song rocks.
Keep up the awesome work and videos love the video
Gen 9 was great for Rock type Pokemon, now all they need is better accuracy moves
I love the fact that wrestling music is being used only because Rock the Dwayne Johnston is a wrestler
Dude I thought I was trippin when I heard the music I’m like wait a minute . Is this no mercy music?!?!?lol😅

Still insane how none of the Regi's never got Recover. Especially Regirock since the PokeDex mention it can heal itself.
Thank you for this video sir I am new to Pokemon and I love rock types I love how to describe each Pokemon done with such passion and respect 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😃💪🕹️
Alolan Golem, I love its design and typing of Rock/Electric and the fact that it has a rock hurling rail gun on its back is a bonus.
Electric type explosion also
Garganacl proves that with good stats and a great ability + signature move, a rock type can be fantastic.
Same hes always on my teams in oras
Earliest I've ever caught your video!
Love the poke rap!
Also love the Sokko feature! ❤
My favorite Rock type may be slow, it may not have good defenses, but its Rampardos... he's such a good boy (actually tied with Tyrantrum, but I thought I'd talk about Rampy instead, he doesn't get enough attention.)
FINALLY!!! Time to rumble!!
Aggron is by far my favorite rock, and quite probably my favorite pokemon evolutionary line of all time. I am STILL MAD that they left my boy out of Paldea, while bringing in the likes of Plusle and Minun...
I loved the rap it was pretty good
PokerStars Studious is one of the biggest blights in Pokemon
Loved the rap😂
that rap is awesome
I never thought I'd see a Raw Deal card while watching a pokemon video.... but here we are
Also kinda bummed by boy Tyrantrum only made the honorble mentions. Only pokemon I've ever bred for a shiny with good IV's
As both a wrestling and pokemon fan i approve
Had to go back and check number 10. I recognize that song track anywhere 🤣
surprised Tyrantrum didnt make the list
I actually like Glamorra design wise, don’t know about battle wise since I don’t play competitive and haven’t really played much of Scarlet and Violet with it. However, I can’t help but feel/think Glamorra should have been a middle evolution, in terms of design.
Lol u had the N64 no mercy song dig dig digitty dig digitty ugh!!
Take a shot every time he says "rock"
I personally think Rock Pokemon are like Fighting type, since they are physically strong and sturdy. Let's get ready to rumble!!!
Are you going to get back to doing mystic reads any time soon, my husband loves yaju sannin and road to be a pokemon master
Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?
Favorite rock type that I've actually used has got to be Aggron
Runner up is still good, but I’m surprised Iron Boulder wasn’t number 1, it’s a pain in my ass
Dwayne Johnson has two Pokémon Alolan Golem and Iron Thorns for obvious reasons
How about best team for XD Gale of Darkness?
Gamefreak gave 2 100% accurate rock moves to gen 9. They may both be signature moves but hey, i dont think there has ever been a single damaging rock type move in 8 other gens to have 100% accuracy.
Ancient power has been 100% accurate for a while now
@@mr.sniffly5297idk if they meant it but I think they meant 100% physical rock moves.
Why is lycanroc dusk mane not here 🙂??!!
Don’t do that again 💀. But love the videos you post 💯✊🏾
Buddy, you're a boy, make a big noise
Playing in the street, gonna be a big man someday
You got mud on your face, you big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the place, singin'
We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you
Buddy, you're a young man, hard man
Shouting in the street, gonna take on the world someday
You got blood on your face, you big disgrace
Waving your banner all over the place
We will, we will rock you, sing it
We will, we will rock you
Buddy, you're an old man, poor man
Pleading with your eyes, gonna make you some peace someday
You got mud on your face, big disgrace
Somebody better put you back into your place
We will, we will rock you, sing it
We will, we will rock you, everybody
We will, we will rock you, hmm
We will, we will rock you
Alright
You always do strongest, but how about you do like a fun rock team (amongst all the other types too) just to include some faves, be it for contests, HMs or just a fun story
Iron thorns reminds me of reptar from the rugrats 😂
10-7 could easily have been my boy tyrantrum
The fact that lycanroc midday, and minior were excluded from this whereas regirock was included is objectively incorrect.
Glimmora is a nativized heartless.
Favorite Rock would be Rhymperior
My lists I don't allow repeats of certain Pokémon, cause I feel it's unneccessary to talk about how good a Pokémon is twice.
Where can I watch your lists?
@@darktemplar446 I don't have UA-cam videos of them. I just wrote them down.
Yeah giant salt really is a bulky fucker. I love it though. Rank the rivals for 2024 soon
Didnt sand teams have Houndstone or whatever this whole time? Like doesn't that thing have like the most broken move in pokemon history? Last respects
Sorry I’m late!!
Growlithe in general sux no buffs no matter what from it is in. 😢
It’s garganacl lol that’s my favorite rock
Lycanroc = Excadrill, change my mind
Fav = t-tar
Dwayne.
Rock is my least favourite type, I like a lot of rock types design wise, but the way the type works just really rubs me the wrong way
Sudowoodo is the best rock type.
Rock Type peaked early in Yellow Version with the first gym. Now it has too many common weaknesses.
Gonna have to unsubscribe for that shot at isekai 😡
Honestly as a person who cares more for vgc this tier list was wack
Well pleased ün ün ün
Second
Stop calling it the Dawn Form! It’s the Midday Form! 🙄
It legit doesn't matter 🤦🏼
Please no more rapping 😅
