- The Miami Hurricanes have just landed a verbal commitment from four star interior offensive lineman Seuseu “SJ” Alofaituli! The Las Vegas Bishop Gorman HS standout is the second rated IOL in America, and he becomes the 17th member of the Miami Hurricanes’ class of 2025. SJ chose Miami over Michigan and Nebraska. He becomes Miami’s fifth offensive lineman in the class, joining Max Buchanan, TK Muex, Jaden Wilkerson and Demetrius Campbell.
Host Alex Donno is joined by Locked On Network recruiting expert Brian Smith and 365 Canes Football’s Stevo to break down Miami’s new verbal commit. This OL class is sooo strong! We always get RB's but now QB's are really going to start second guessing their prior decisions and looking at Miami(we just have to develop QB's into draft prospects from freshman year).OL and DL 1 v 1's are going to be crazy.
The appeal of playing in a clean pocket can’t be understated. Shame that TVD struggled so much to the point of throwing 12 picks from a clean pocket but glad cam saw the vision and chose the canes
TV3ints biggest issue was in the 5 1/4" between his ears. True the line wasn't spectacular but he fell down on his position and duties. The QB is a field general position and baby Ty just couldn't do the job. Just look at Emory when he came into games. The aura and the feel was completely different. There was confidence and dare I say "swagger". Emory is the leader that TV3ints wishes that he could be, all of the time.
Wow I can get used to this. I am going to feel down if we don't have 3 more commitments next week.:)

In my opinion this Miami Hurricane team can be the best since 2002 & win more game since 2001. I predict 15 wins and win the ACC make the 12 team playoffs win 2 playoff games maybe go to national championship game. Sky is the limit the coaches, players need to believe they can. Their plenty of senior & experience leadership at every position from Offensive line, Defensive Line, Wide receivers, Linebackers, Running Backs, Tight Ends, Quarterback,Kicking,Punting, not to overlooked Defensive Backs.
Over 20 years the Miami Hurricanes have failed to meet their potential through all NCAA violations and penalties. Miami Hurricanes fans were letdown.
For the first time in 20 years I since the confidence, , and leadership in the Miami Hurricane player they believe they can & will the big games and finally win the ACC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP make 12 team playoffs win 2 maybe 3 all the way to National Championship game.

With that dominance…along with a bit of arrogance.. came a boatload of UM hate. So I know when the U was important. Until we prove we are back, we are not THAT Miami.

I can't claim to have experienced it on your level, but this will get my 45th season as a Canes fan, so I did experience the dominant years. Personally, I don't think The U will ever return to what it used to be because the game has changed. I do think Miami can be great again in this new era of NIL.
Last year, Bobby Washington, Chris Johnson, and Marquise Lightfoot all got upgraded in their rankings after committing to Miami.
I am very aware of the hate and bias that has existed for over 20 years.
Like I said, Mario is working on the culture. These things take time.
