Honestly? I didn't even think I'd like this artstyle yet the design in this game is just so good. The sounds, the animations, the gameplay just really are stylish for what they are. Some of the subtle references are great too (like the earthbound reference near the end).
I think the bosses (discluding Satan) are based on the Seven Deadly Sins Brawlbuster is Pride Jewel Ghoul is Lust Tallbuster is Sloth Freako Dragon is Greed Smallbuster is Envy Maulbuster is Wrath Ring-A-Ding is Gluttony This made me think this because of the Jewel Ghoul achievement mentioning the sin of lust itself.
This seems like one of the more unique looking games on... *and/or in* the planet Also looks incredibly hard. Wow. My only criticism would be that some boss fights take too long, as intense they are. Maybe you were using only your basic abilities?
maulbuster's fight is long yea, but in ring-a-ding's third phase you can hit the large bells during the rotating laser to do more damage, i think gellot didnt do it cause it would be too risky since it already is a long fight
