Great to see this reimagined classic up close. I'm very pleased to see they've added movement to the speaker grills, the whole thing is simply gorgeous!
The clamper moved slowly because the door was open. For me Beosound 9000 and beolab 5 (and probably beolab 8000), are the most iconic Bang & Olufsen products. I love seeing them recreate this amazing product and the new speaker pair perfectly with this. Well done Bang & Olufsen.
At the first version from the B&O 9000 had B&O an exclusive disk collection for a demo of the 9000. One of that exclusive collections are now for sale on Catawiki. With this disk collection you can listen to a lot of different music styles to your B&O system. I think it's an interesting piece for some people that watch this video.
Was the left-channel speaker in narrow mode while the right-channel in wide? You can see the right-channel spent longer closing the curtains. Otherwise absolutely stunning.
Well spotted, I hadn’t noticed the difference in closing speeds! They will normally be matched to the same mode, I think I had confused the speakers by using the keypad on the 9000 to control it…
@@soundsheavenlyNot sure about that. At the «please come and join me» it looks like both are in narrow mode. At 0:31 they are in «mixed mode» :). I can’t tell what happened between the two moments but I have seen this before with Beolab 28s, so I don’t think it’s got anything to do with the 9000c.
Thanks, this is a great store. Glad you liked the video. Please consider buying me a coffee (link in the video description) if you would like to support future videos like this one!
The system was in demo mode so not in normal operation mode, but my understanding is that the volume buttons on the keypad are not functioning when in normal operation
That is an interesting idea, but I think unfortunately we are 20 years too late for that, as DVD is a dead format now. Even Blu-ray is dying out as people stream movies online. Only music formats such as vinyl and CD are still in active use now.
I never heard of Bang & Olufsen's until I bought my Mercedes SL. Granted I'm not an audio person like I was in my 20s. A friend and I were driving to Miami and we cranked it up, and it made us both look at each other in complete shock when the bass hit for the first time. Unbelievable sound quality!
actually I dont really like the style. not at all. I've one old one in daily use since my confirmation and another one w sadly stopped working proberly a few y ago. I even got a replacement drive but no1 dared to change it.. actually I am really disappointed with B&O. I spent a lot per year but since I had the usual failure with my avant (1st replace of the dve was a fortune since no service is below 200 km) That dve(digital video engine) lasted 1y. Thats somehow ridic. Ive got and had so many bo tvs but the service became ridiculous. I am incredible saddened by the service. Sry Steve, I went offtopic but even Porsche replaces a known failure for free (at least for a while)

Yes, it is really striking, a true B&O classic!

Yes, the clamper slows down when the door is open. I love these iconic products, it is great to see them brought back to life!

Thanks, that’s interesting
Thanks steve, this has to be the most stylish cd player ever made
Yes, a true B&O classic!
Wow steve !! Looks just magnificent, different level, so stylish !!!!
Thanks, yes it does look amazing!
I will be going up to London soon so I will pop in and have a look at that. It is truly beautiful. I’m a huge fan of the 9000.
Yes, it looks amazing, please tell the guys in store that you saw it in my video 👍

Thanks Steve. Interested to know whether the volume control on the 9000c panel adjusted the speaker volume?
The system was in demo mode so not in normal operation mode, but my understanding is that the volume buttons on the keypad are not functioning when in normal operation
I lost my TV remote control. Where can I get a universal remote?
.
Don't use universal remotes with B&O, they don't work! Look for a genuine B&O remote, they can often be found on eBay or other marketplaces.
@@soundsheavenly Are there buttons on the TV?
@@noohmohd4205 You didn't say which TV you have, but most B&O TVs don't have manual control buttons as they need a remote in order to work.
@@soundsheavenly B&O 11.46
@noohmohd4205 you need a B&O remote for this TV
Thanks Steve !
You are welcome!
Very neat!
I love it!
B&o needs to sell Encore separately, will buy immediately
Yes, I agree!
Interesting, thx for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching!
They need to make them be able to play DVD and be able to screencast the dvd unto the tv.

@@soundsheavenly DVDs and Blu-ray are not dead yet. They're dying but there not dead yet.
OK, good point 👍🏻
WANT 🤩
Me too!
❤❤❤fabulous video ❤❤🎉
Thank you! If you like my videos, please consider buying me a coffee via the link in the video description, this helps fund future B&O videos!

Yes, the sound quality of their in-car systems is superb! Did you see my video with the guys who designed the B&O in-car systems?

Sorry to hear that you had bad service from B&O, I suggest reaching out to them via their website to see if they can resolve the issues for you
I know B&O as a company that likes to help people. Maybe if you contact them with your story they can help you out.
It's 50k Euro's....
Yes, £45k in UK, or $55k in US dollars…
more proof that the old designs were the best , modern bno is boring in comparison
There was certainly a distinctive style in the older designs, the 9000 is one of my favourites!
😂😂😂
Glad you found the video!
