I’m really enjoying your videos on this trip! I spent 2 years in Germany. And before moving to Mexico two years ago part of my prep was watching video creators in Mexico, which is when I found the Kinetic Kennons!! There’s a serendipity in all that for me, so thanks!

Funny, you are in Garmisch, I was just talking to my old Army buddies, and the trips we took to Garmisch when we were stationed in Germany. It is so beautiful there, like a kids fairytale book! We went mountain bike riding around lake Eibsee , so much fun! The food and beer are amazing! I want to go back again!

At the same time it reminds me of your life in Mexico and why it is rated the second happiest country on earth. I lived in Bamberg, a beautiful city. This is called “towel warmer” in America and China only.
Actually this is the heater for the bathroom which is designed to also dry the towel after you use it.
It’s not possible to wash every towel set every day in a 4-people family. On north European countries you would not be able to hang them out to dry because of the cold climate. You can dry some clothes inside the house when it’s cold and cloudy outside but not a lot of stuff. So instead of washing people dry the towels in these heaters.

Hola guys. I am a 25 year resident of Mexico and have followed you for a couple of years at least. Maybe longer. You have exceptionally engaging and pleasant personalities, and your videos are always enjoyable. We are starting to have more overlaps. I lived my first 25 years in Nuevo Vallarta/Bucerias, but in January moved to just outside Playa del Carmen. One of the reasons for the move was the direct flights from Cancun to Frankfurt and Munich (on Lufthansa). I have family in the Heidelberg area and have visited Germany various times. My favorite city in the world is perhaps Munich. I've also stayed a few times in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at a very traditional inn called the Gasthaus Fraundorfer, run by the Fraundorfer family for many generations. I hope you were able to visit Partenkirchen. Its main street, the Ludwigstrasse, is hands down the most romantically colorful and drop-dead-charming street in the entire area. The Ludwigstrasse is uber Bavarian. Anyway I'm heading back to Germany in a couple of weeks on one of those Lufthansa direct 11 hour flights. I have always felt that it's interesting that my two favorite countries, Mexico and Germany, are culturally so different, yet both are so tremendously appealing.

    • @kinetickennons

I accidentally discovered a way to remove the hiccups.
You must fill a large glass of water, breathe as deeply as you can and start taking small, very small sips of water with the head raised as if you were looking at someone, say, 40 centimeters taller than you. You must do it holding your breath.
The objective is not to fill yourself with water but to use the muscular movement that occurs when swallowing the water to massage that area which after a few seconds removes that spasm.

Sorry if I sound annoyed. It's probably because I am, but after the umpteenth mention of "how German" everything was, it's literally too much...
Please don't describe things you see there as "this is so German". You have seen nothing of Germany yet other than a little stretch of Bavaria that is not even representative of all of Bavaria, much less of Germany. What you perceive as German is just a cliche implanted into your heads by too many bad movies and because American troops were mainly stationed in Bavaria and not in any other parts of Germany.
Despite being much smaller, Germany is at least as diverse as the states, and you wouldn't want anybody to say "this is so American" when they only have seen a guy with a big cowboy hat in El Paso. People from Seattle, New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, or New Orleans might disagree. Please just hold back with this stereotyping a little until you have visited Berlin, Cologne, or Hamburg which has much more in common with Stockholm or Oslo than with Munich. Then you might understand.
Not to speak of the Waddensea, the islands in the North Sea, the Rhineland, or the border regions to Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, which ALL are very different from what you have seen in Southern Bavaria close to Austria, and which have their own food, traditions, language, and don't wear lederhosen.
Sorry again if I sound annoyed, but you should not visit countries with these stereotypes in your head. And most Germans are sick and tired of these Bavarian stereotypes which are far from anything you'll see in most of Germany...
