Hi mate, thanks for posting the video. Are you able to let me know what the height of the car is with the platform installed? Obviously there are other considerations (suspension, wheels etc) but was just wondering what the clearance would be? Alternatively if you can let me know how high off the roof it sits? Cheers!
Hi Robert. Sorry for the delay. The height to the top of the roof platform is 1880mm from the floor. That is with standard suspension and tyres. I raised the front using the bottom fixing because the light at was to close to the roof! Any significant weight might of made it touch. Very easy to install and really happy with it.

My concern is the original roof rail had a plastic boot covering the cavity anchor points, once the Savage tech brackets are fitted, what prevents the cavity from filling up with water and other foreign bodies finding their way into the hole ?
Yer I had the same thoughts. To be fair it’s been out in heavy rain and I have looked at all four mounting points and water doesn’t hold in the cavities.
I dare say the water is going somewhere if not in the cavities, I will pose this question to Savage tech and see what they say. Many thanks for your reply 👍
Hey guys !!! First of all, nice video 👏🏽👏🏽. I got a Vanta 2022 without side rails. I Just bought a roof platform for savage to. My concern it is , underneath of the original roof rail , there is any anchor points ? Are you guys able to tell me that ? Thanks
Hi. There are anchor on the latest vanta but I don’t think there is on the older model. I seem to remember my dealership advising me of that. Maybe ring your local dealership and ask! Worth a phone call! Good luck.
