    It's really nice that you put the bloopers at the end, because when we only we the "normal" video, I feel like it seems easy and like you do it all in one take, put it's far from the reality and the bloopers help to see that!

    Joel - I remember that you showed a step by process for fixing a dripping outside waterspout on Bonnie's channel a few years ago. I am needing to fix ours (should have 2 years ago) and that video or an updated one on this channel will be welcomed to make me feel like I could do it myself. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.

    thank you for great video. I have simple question about my situation. I have uneven floor joists all around the 2nd floor(townhome). It seems like the center of the building is sank. So do you recommend to plane some high leveled joists? or attach sister joists on almost everywhere? If I go with highest floor joist then I get 5/8" higher than current stair nose. Please help.

    • @TodaysTask
      @TodaysTask  4 роки тому +1

      I would probably plane them only because cost will be much lower, and the task will be much more simple. Good Luck. You can use self leveling cement for heights up to 1".

    Why it is colder after the sun comes up...
    It is coldest an hour after the sun comes up because the sun has been off of the ground for the longest time at that point. It had gone down the day before and stopped warming the ground and even though it has come up it has not had a chance to warm anything up yet. That is why it gets colder as the sun comes up in a weird anomaly.

    I'd like to know the shear rating for hanger nails. I see inch and a half nails holding up entire floors all the time and inspectors never say anything so I guess they pass.
    I guess you're getting almost the entire inch and a half in the girder on the face nails but you ain't getting nothing on the toenails.

    • @TodaysTask
      @TodaysTask  2 роки тому

      It will give you the strength break down on the box, but they have to say structural on the box.
