So, can someone help me understand the principle here? I’m thinking that this isn’t like flip-book animation, which works in person IRL, that the effect here depends on periodicity- that the rpms of the zoetrope’s spinning probably have to match the frame rate of the recording device capturing the video? Or do human eyes actually impose a periodicity to fix the doorframes in position while the other elements move relative to them?
