Couldn't wait to get home to watch this Brother, of course I sat at every red light in Nevada for 20 minutes each!
But it was definitely worth it! That ol bull headed bull ! Good thing you weren't a speeding semi with bad brakes! That stunt he pulled never worked out well for the bull when they would do that on the railroad.
You sure did capture some great scenes of the lakes and those icicles, wow!
Sure was fun, thanks Brother Doug and Kellie for another wonderful adventure! 😀 🇺🇸

Hi Dick, we figured you would enjoy it, so we gave you the heads up. I was lucky to catch that rainbow, but I am not spending all the gold just yet. Perhaps I will order a freezer load of grass finished beef? Ha! 🇺🇸⚓🍪🍺

Yeah, there won't be any dry hiking for a while, the big storms rolled in kind of late this year. I don't do telemark skiing very often, but when I do i find it hard to get into the right rhythm. And when I do find it, I feel a little awkward to keep it going. Its probably because I don't do it that often. Thanks and I appreciate you two doing all the hard work....take care.

That Norwegian Telemark skiing style is supposed to be excellent for improving fitness. Thank you for coming along with us because it makes all our hard work seem more like a walk in the park. We welcome all the incoming storms!

A little Mexican Standoff with a bull in the road, ha-ha. With all that snow covered scenery there it's like a Currier and Ives Winter scene from back East. Yours is a bit more fanciful with the bright sunlight and the majestic Sierra mountains. It
seems you "kids" had some fun outside adventuring about.

We don't get that cold Hawk flying in like you do, but we do get the Lonely Bull and the Tijuana Brass pulling, as you say, the Ol' Mexican Showdown. Got a some sun that day, and it made up for that little blizzard last week. Yes, us kids are being as immature as ever, and loving every minute of it. Catch you next time....and.....stay warm!

Kellie and Doug, beautiful trip! So cool those free range macro cattle. I can remember on many occasions driving down the extraterrestrial highway from the little Ale’inn and the locals referred to the cattle as Black Death. (Kinda hard to see at night). Love your adventures and thanks for sharing!

Hi Carl, for sure gots to slow down at night, especially for the black cattle. My favorite are the antelope; they burst out running across the road apparently out of thin air. As always, happy to have you along. Hope the steel business treating you well so you can get some fishing in!

Hi Tim! The groomed trails were so fast going down the steep hill I preferred bushwhacking my own trail through the timber. We are going back to that one and the open woods west of there where no people are ever seen. Thanks for the info on the lake.

Very cool scenery , or should i say cold , cause cool is warmer than cold !!! Or how bout frigid or chilly . Lotsa ways to describe it .
When you turned onto 395 coulda swore you turned onto 395 @ Walker / Coleville
California , boy was i way off.
Also very beautiful drive south of Walker , Cali along Walker river goin thru the canyon south towards Bridgeport.
Say you two think you can show a little of that route in the winter. ?
God bless you both Kellie and Doug , youre awesome and stay safe.
Also think that 'ol bull was a bull dozin' . Or perhaps wouldnt budge cause he was trying to keep his feet warm . Haha.

Hi guys, I hope you had a fun trip! As always, I enjoyed the adventure! What a fun day spent snowshoeing/skiing paired with a healthy lunch! I especially appreciated the footage of Walker Lake - a gem in the middle of the desert. It looked even more beautiful with that big, bright rainbow standing right on top of it. Loved it! Take care, you guys! PS - your vineyard is looking good!
