Bonemancer, along with Summonmancer are a very safe build. As you are using a Darkforce Spawn Shield, You could use a Lidless Wall with call to arms instead of a spirit monarch. Will reduce strength requirements so you can put more points at vitality.
And/or i make my Enigma in a Ringmail (36 str) i did that before in old LoD but its not that i die all the time with this. I simply went for full Dmg and sacrificed some defense👍and yes super safe builds, snipe from distance is nice then corpse explo
If u play with homu and 75%block chance ure not squishy anymore also solves mana problem (5maek) so u dex for max block, rest vitality. This way u can also rock infinity for merc (fire dmg for corpse)
Wouldn't it have been better to use an SoJ instead of one of the BK rings so you don't have to put so many points into Energy to reach around 800 mana after using BO?
(what annoys me is I spend HOURS getting a +2-3 to skelly warrior for my summon necro and found 2-3 good bases for bonespear but couldnt afford at the time to buy them)
I got Enigma first. I did not trade much in terms of my starter gear. I had Enigma before Arach or a Torch for example. But i think i´ve spent a Pul or Um on the Viper at the beginning. The build is pretty ssf friendly overall
Pretty much all the necro builds Poison, summons or bone are good in budget gear. Because the truth is in the end you use corpse explosion anyways no matter what spec. Thats necro in a nutshell in D2^^ It´s more about how you want to kill the first monster to blow the rest up with CE.. For me summons get only viable after i have enigma so i can force them to attack the target, before that they just run arround. Lets say u have 20 skellis, 5 of them will actually attack what they supposed to attack ^^ In the end play whatever you want BUT i start summons, then transition into Bonespear as soon as i have White + insight on my merc.
@@SerpenTRyder i dont remember every trade on this necro but i got Enigma by selling a lightning skiller with 12fhr for Ber (dropped in a TZone) and the next day i sold a mid rolled Soso Torch for Jah :)
I found much better than white bone wand...it is called Boneshade leach wand this one gives 2 necro 2 bone spirit 2 bone spear and 5 bone armor and 5 teeth

thats usually how that goes. And i´ve seen plenty of good summon bases when shopping for +3 spear xD
Bonemancer Was the build I always played in LOD. Lik 90% of the time. I never made one in d2r.
