Hi Marty. Thanks for the great content. I'm wondering how much of what we're hearing (in terms of tone) is guitar vs patch on the katana. I've downloaded your available patches for the katana and love them BTW. I use a s>hollow guitar sim to get my break up tone.
You played the solo longer than I remember. Then I realized after you played the solo, you started jamming. But it sounded like it belonged on the record.
Man you’re a genius to this old man . Picked up the guitar at 54 and now 60 . You have made life so much easier and the cherry 🍒 on top any Beatles song taught as the recording 🙏🙏
Thanks Marty! I've been listening to The Beatles the last couple weeks when I'm getting ready for work, and have been obsessed with this solo. I can't tell you how happy it made me nailing this solo with head phones plugged into the amp and the baby asleep upstairs at 2AM. You are awesome!
bro i feel this hard, i listen to the beatles most nights before i go to sleep and have been trying to learn this solo but my timing was always off, so this was insanely helpful
After 10 years of aimlessly strumming basic chords on my acoustic, I finally bought a new Epiphone Les Paul and started seriously trying to learn and improve on guitar. I’ve spent the past few months learning through Marty and my playing has increased leaps and bounds. So satisfying being to able to nail stuff I never thought I’d be able to play. Thanks for everything Marty! You’re a great teacher and an endless source of useful information!
What a gorgeous Georgie solo. Thanks for giving me this one Marty. One of the biggest Beatles fans here love how you help me learn my favorite tunes man.
Thanks for another well done video Marty! I've been learning from you online for gosh probably 10 years now since 8th grade Always appreciate the good vibes and energy you bring to each lesson and how you helped me develop as a guitarist. Thanks Thanks man.
I started learning back in May during the first lockdown and I’ve come so far thanks to you Marty! I see these comments all the time, I’m sure you’re used to them, but I just wanted to let you know you’re great! Keep it up! From the UK :)
Hey man. Although I’m primarily a bassist and drummer, I’ve been playing my guitar on the side a lot. I love your videos. I just recently learned lithium by nirvana from your tutorial. Thanks for making content Marty.
You the man marty! been watching your tutorial videos since the beginning. Recently picked up my guitar again and I remembered all of the lessons I watched from your channel. Glad to see you're still going strong.
Let me be the one to tell you it gets easier. It sounds cliche, but practicing everyday is the way. I never thought I'd be able to play anything close to this. Advice I wish I got a bit earlier is take one thing and practice it everyday until it gets easier and easier. Hope this helps my friend.
I've only been playing for a year, and have maybe six or eight songs down, and can do this solo now. It will get easier. Now if only I could play as well as Marty LOL. Also that extended solo he did, I feel like I'll NEVER do, but I haven't even tried to tackle that yet. That sumbitch has fast changes. One day...
@@chuckydall9250 There is a UA-cam named Struthless who hammered that idea into my head and changed the way I played guitar ever since. I took let it be by The Beatles and practice it day and night and bled into other areas on the guitar. I don't know what strikes your fancy but would love to hear some of your guitar insights!
My daughter had to make up a solo for Let it Be, for the school band. She instead followed your tutorial and played it like that. Thank you for teaching us (I practiced along with her, although it took me quite a bit longer to master it).
Marty, Great lesson of one of my favorite guitar solos. Thanks for keeping us all sane during Covid. Could you let us know what tone setting your amp was on for this, and include that info for all future videos? Your lessons are really faithful to the originals so that is good to know.
Been playing for 20 years. With my thumb. Wrote 50 songs. Love them but they are all basic. It’s on my for not learning the next level. Love this song and it seems like the right time to start the journey
Thanks to this video, I was able to successfully learn the solo to a fantastic song. I was doubtful I would be able to actually get it I won’t lie, but it only took a little over a week! I’m still a little rusty but there’s time to improve!
Learn different scales. Starting with the pentatonic scales is a great idea since it's so versitile. Then if you know the key of the song you can just play a scale of that key on top. Especially with the pentatonic scale you can pretty much play anything and it will sound good (kind of) then when you get good at that you can match notes in the scale to the rythm chords and go from there. Just trying out different things will yield great results and you realize you can improvise over anything
Awesome Marty learnt the cords from you awhile back and this is perfect for me to do now , really appreciate Your lessons 🙏 as a older progressing learner . Greetings from Australia
Hey Marty, i watched your old tutorial of this song and loved it and this one seems simpler but cooler because of the extra licks you added in. Cool vids man, keep it up!👌
Hey Marty! Any tips on getting this beautiful sound from the guitar? What peddles are you using? Distortion? Appreciate any advice in advance. Thanks for the awesome lesson.
Thanks for supporting MartyMusic! I also have FREE courses at my site www.martymusic.com

Okay thank you I was kinda confused about that 😂😂
Our beloved marty is better than george harrison!
That jam tho
@@herbythechef7624 careful now, down with this sort of thing!
Yeah I was confused at the end because there was not enough time to do the rest and I thought there was supposed to be a part 2
This guitar solo is my favourite guitar solo in all of music. No one plays it as George did. He had a touch that was divine.

It's been years since you upload this, but i still want to thank you because this is the first ever guitar solo i learned and played well

The Beatles have always made memorable songs and solos! Great lesson!
Cant tell you how many time I’ve come back to this to listen to your improv at the end of the solo sounds great!

One of I’d say. Gilmours solos are absolutely mind blowing

If you can noodle the pentatonic this a a very doable solo with some great jumps in it. Well done Marty!
I've been a fan since that little hat has been on your head, you never failed in impressing me.
One of my favourite ever solos. So much feel.
Marty makes this solo so easy to learn, and it sounds amazing. Thank you so much man!! 10/10 recommend any of Marty’s tutorials
Two Beatles tutorials in a week. Being a massive Beatles fan, I am loving this. Keep it up Marty. Please don't you ever, ever Let It Be. 😁
Thanks for teaching me this!!! I'm filled with pure joy playing this on guitar!!!

Now practicing this on my new Epiphone Casino in worn olive drab.
Thank Marty🎸
Still getting the timing of the bends down but I think may have just learned my first “full” solo. You’re great thanks a lot!
That intro solo is so tasteful! Ugh.

I want to be able to do the jamming at the end. Sounds awesome.
your solo at the end was just dope af
I've got my new Epiphone Es-339 Pro to rock this solo. George Harrison you genius
I’m just starting and this seems so overwhelming like near impossible to remember all that but I know it’ll get easier

Just learned this. Thanks for the help Marty!
Great lesson, Marty! Very Clear and accessible - and a wonderful solo!!
Thanks as always for sharing your talent. You teach this solo at a great pace.
Nice!! I like the way you did it. After showing the note for a phrase, playing the passage at full speed up including the following phrase.
can you please make a tutorial on the last freestyled part it sounds so good!!
Nice solo extension at the end Marty. You simply rock!!!
Learned it on an acoustic with some twists on some bends which i switched for slides. Great solo!
Absolute class! I’m sure you did this years ago but now you got the soul 😎
Such a tasty addition to the lead, Marty! - I hope I can get the same vibe in Key of F - where the singer wants the song. Thanks!
Dude. Your relaxed riffing in the opening is stellar. A welcome change of pace, veering off from a pure replication of the original part. Loved it 👍!
I Really thankyou For
The Lessons Marty I Hope You Keep Doing Your Lessons And Keep Going thnkyou A Fan From The Philippines 🇵🇭
Love this solo. Can't believe I waited this long to learn it! I dont know where I'd be after all of these years without marty. Thanks Marty!
