This is heavy. I am the widow of a man who had Tom ‘a mindset. We built his empire without losing me and our kids. He was the leader God gave us. It’s been 7 years since his transition to eternity but we are still thriving from him being in our lives. My challenge is to pass the legacy to the grandchildren.

The part when you said it's been 7yrs since his transition but we are still thriving..still thriving ..still thriving...most people after saying it's been yrs after death..NEVER use a word like thriving..wow..so happy that you've had that experience and shared with us all so that we too can see something different. May God richly bless and fulfill your desire to pass down the legacy. May you continue to thrive ❤

24:35 mins in and I swear my brain got larger. The amount of gems being dropped. I need to remove my old way of thinking quick to receive ALL these gems. DAMN! Tom Bilyeu YOU ARE A GENIUS! Just claim because it is quite evident. And Sister Lisa, girl, you are a firecracker. Not even done with the interview and I'm tripping trying to catch ALL these gems. Dynamic, brilliant couple. ♥🙌🏽🎉 @DearFutureWifey thank you!

This was a beautiful conversation. I absolutely love that they’re not afraid to ask themselves and each other the hard uncomfortable questions. When Tom spoke about being wildly curious and being willing to look stupid and ask clarifying question in order to better understand your partners thought process. Then he followed that up with speaking from Insecurity. This is next level 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is proof you can learn from anyone. Religious or faith based differences shouldn't be a block to wisdom. God can use anyone or thing to teach us IF we're not closed to that idea. Honestly, it may do some people some good to see how unbelievers are living and thriving.... bc why are we struggling AND judgmental. We have the same opportunity and greater authority on our side to do great works for the Kingdom. I really enjoyed this couple very insightful

      Psalms 1:1-6
Blessed is the man that walketh NOT in the counsel of the UnGodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own SOUL Or what shall a man give in exchange for his SOUL
Seek ye the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added. Not the Things of this World, because it is fleeing.
As a Believer, we shall seek the Kingdom of God, his ways, precepts and concepts. Do not be deceive by the enemy, by this world, the accolades, if you don't know God as your personal Savior, you have nothing, and if you Know God as your Savior you have EVERYTHING.
I stopped watching when I saw he was not a Believer and prayed for him and everyone else that does not know God in the pardon of their sin. Be Blessed !!

Based on some of Tom’s perspective regarding communication (in my own words) is… it’s already hard enough to assure that what’s being verbally communicated is perceived the intended way. These days you got people expecting you to understand communication by way of gestures and such creating more confusion. 😣
🗝️ take away: if you’re testing him/her (and not communicating) you’re setting them up for failure.💥
True on so many levels. Yes! 👏🏽

Such a great episode. Tom & Lisa are amazing. Been watching their content for years. Timestamp 1:22:37 when Lisa discusses the impact of Toxic Relationships was DEAD ON! Especially when she mentioned that she became toxic herself as a protective mechanism. Doing the heart work after the dissolution of a marriage/relationship are necessary because it can really leave last affects on a person. Lisa's indication about being in a toxic relationship at 16 is a reminder that these issues often begin early, sometimes even younger.. I'm glad she wants to work with 14 year old girls because it's so needed!

This was a great interview, Laterras. I enjoyed Tom and Lisa because they demonstrated how to communicate effectively to learn your partner as well as holding each other accountable and being true to yourself as an individual. As far as them not believing in God, it is our responsibility as believers to pray for them, to intercede on their behalf as God leads you. So, plant seeds of prayer, send them words of encouragement and trust God for their increase to come into knowledge of Him and relationship with Him.

Feel better Laterras! I love Tom Bilyeu's show but this is the first time I've heard of 'Women of Impact'. I'm definitely going to check it out. I love the original name you have for the episode, "Empower of Love" and I wish you'd stuck with. Although I think you may have said empire and not empower. I heard *empower*. I think it would've been more impactful for both retaining both Dear Future Wifey and Tom's & Lisa's already established audiences; AND I think ALL 3 of your respective platforms would've gained even more new audiences each.

Though intriguing and thought provoking the most important factor is God yet to be revealed in his life. Praying to that end. In Jesus name Amen.

Omg I loved this episode Lisa her mindset is so stimulating. Always wanted to know who her husband is. Both of their minds are like rocket ships. Going up and reaching new destinations, I need that kinda mental stimulation and I got it right here. Thank you Latteras. Another 1

Laterras, this was such a great episode that had me almost cried to see how in love those two are with one another, and they just compliment each other so well. I hope to find love like that it was very moving. All the gems gave me a full, new filled jewelry box. How he acknowledged the fact that Tom couldn't be the man he is today without Lisa motivating him and believing in his dreams and ambition was golden. Very few men would give credit to the women in their lives who gave them success and support. This has really helped me in many ways. may God continue to bless, and please continue to bring on great guests. Thanks ❤❤ and 🎉 on your future endeavors!

This message has truly challenged me to not be biased in my own ideology. Every time I hear about Darwin’s theory of evolution I get offended and I don’t even try to open myself up to hear other people. Mostly because it came from a man who was racist (but I digress). Seeing Laterras navigate this conversation so well has helped me eat the meat 🍖 and spit out the bones 🦴.
This has been such an honest and transparent interview about insecurities and how to work through it all in bad times and even good times. Removing expectations and materialistic ideologies and embracing what you need as a person to be truly yourself. Wooo 😅so many gems 💎 !!!

I too Laterras, found it worth taking notes for what impacted my life. Two things! I was just talking to someone about the difference of loss of a relationship you chose and the loss of a relationship believed to be prompted by God! In that, Tom addressed response of trauma predicted, when I shared it as preparation. Lisa touched on another discussion in my book that my confidence was beaten down by past abuse, yet with God, I reconnected to my confidence even stronger! Beautiful! I was thrown with the unbelief in God, but we (Believers) know that all things work together through Him - and He, our Lord, was definitely working! 😂❤

What an amazingly, incredibly sound, wise, lit & inspiring show (I am inspired by & in deep appreciation of this magnitude of vulnerability, love & profound marital partnership). Thank you so much Tom & Lisa Bilyeu & Laterras for gifting us with this incredible show. I also just purchased my copy of “Radical Confidence”

Laterras you have been very brave to bring us this interview! I pray this couple will come to know Christ.
Before running across this program, I had run across Lisa's interviews on UA-cam that would pop up and listened to a few. But I always sensed something was missing spiritually listening to her. It's interesting how people can really expound their beliefs not knowing that a Christian with the Holy Spirit inside can tell when God's Spirit is missing with someone.
Tom (maybe even unknowingly) relies on reasoning and intelligence. Lisa like a true woman loves him totally, even to the point of giving up a desire to have children. I think what Tom considered being "honest" about having kids and then letting it be Lisa's decision also is selfish. And when you are unsaved - the #1 sign is SELF being on the throne and the Holy Spirit not being there to work.
What would have been good for Lisa is if Tom could have with LOVE went ahead and said they would try to have kids anyway - because it is actually disobedient to God's word in Genesis 1:28 to "Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth..."
Also God said in 1 Tim 2:15: "But women will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety."
It just seems Satan is robbing them of having children, by deceiving both their minds about something a couple like them could have to add that dimension to their marriage. Satan is a deceiver. Prayers for them though.
