One thing I can say is that this man stood in his sin and took full responsibility without hiding and I understand how she forgave him I pray that God continues to bless their union
from what I remember he hid it from her for years and then got caught and then over many months told there was no more incidents and then got further exposed
Yes, this man of God got before the face of God and allowed the Holy Spirit to get real with him. I'll always remember watching them go through and seeing clearly that this is the kind of man who can be forgiven and reconciled back to his family because, no matter how thick the sin was, he owned it. It took time but he owned it over and over and over. Shout out to Teddy and Tina for representing true love, true Godliness and true adulting at its finest!

This also shouldn’t be used to hold somebody to that sin. If they’ve repented and you intend to reconcile, you don’t get to also be judge over their repentance and determine the point at which they’ve done enough to “deserve forgiveness”… many immature people will take a statement like that and weaponize a person’s failure against them. That is as bad as the infraction that person committed.

A perfect marriage or relationship is a myth; there's no guaranteed formula. What works for one person may not work for another. However, I've come to understand that there's always a solution to every problem. Five years ago, my wife and I were on the verge of divorce due to marital issues, but we managed to reconcile. It was a difficult time, but we persevered.
Your insights resonate deeply with me, and I sincerely wish my sentiments mirror yours. Despite our present distance, I cannot envision my existence without her; my affection for her knows no bounds. I ache to reunite with her, and I'm prepared to go to great lengths to achieve that. We've delved into numerous paths, including therapy, in our quest for reconciliation.

Wow, she sounds like me. Everything she did, I did, and now my marriage is restored. I prayed fasted worship, fight, and wrote prayers. Repented , only for God to break the foundation of my marriage then restored it, then turned around and answered my prayers just as I asked him. My husband were gone. After I had gotten so close to God he became enough. It was at that point, I said if that man do not accept u as lord I don't want him. Then I dreamt he was asking for my Bible. The next week he said he want to come home and go to church. There is so much more. Hence the reason why you could never intelligent my God away from me. I've experienced him.
I can share the same testimony exactly like you said .I fell in love with God after my husbands infidelity and I said I’m ok without him then I had a dream of him praying with me and next week he came back home after a year.God is a restorer 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

What I love about her is she did not make any excuses for his actions. Many wives try to make excuses for the cheater believe it or not. Teddy also speaks like repentant man. Taking full responsibility for his action and didn’t blame her ONE TIME even though there could’ve been issues on her end.

This is one of the greatest example of God’s love, mercy, forgiveness, and faithfulness towards us. It’s so easy to walk away but choosing to forgive and allowing God to restore is powerful!! I love how our Heavenly Father redeemed and restored for the world to see. He didn’t allow the world to see the bad and not the good that came from it! Thank you Lord! I got so much wisdom out this interview. I watched those seasons of Mary Mary and I remember one episode when Tina said “ You killing me man, I can’t take no more of this” but look at them now, and I thank God He is using “ All their things to work together for the Good because they are called for His purpose” I know I will watch this video over again. The Cambells and Laterras, this episode is Epic. Fasting will expose YOU and those cycles, habits,and trauma( EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING) to unpack it. This is definitely the season for renewed mind and healed heart. And those use me, Lord, whatever you want to do prayers is dangerous, so brace yourself. Because God will go deeply rooted in those issues. But trusting the process in what the enemy meant for evil. God meant it for his good. He doesn't do pieces but wholeness (freedom). I believe he’s suffered enough. He is not a horrible person he made mistakes. I believe he learned from it.
Tina learned some lessons too! She appeared to be a bully and had a very strong personality on the show.
I was marriage, my ex cheated on me. I was willing to forgive him if he would have totally put in the work for trust to come back. He didn’t want to put in the work, he continued to cheat, so I made a decision to pursue divorce.
And it be like that sis. Unfortunately, just like the horror stories don’t always mean everyone has to fail, the success stories don’t always mean everyone must rebound.
I’m sorry you had to experience that pain, especially when you were willing to work thru things. The accountability has to be active for this thing to heal right. I’m a witness.

When the infidelity was first made known and they would try to do podcast. I would make a comment that it wasn’t time because Tina wasn’t healed. But now. This episode shows healing and love. I hate you went through what you did, but glad you did so others can be overcome by the words of your testimony.
Everytime I get a chance to watch DFW or God direct me to watch DFW, I am always walking away with a message, confirmation, or an awareness that I was suppose to take from the show. This pod cast has blessed me I to have suffered infidelity in my marriage to this day he has not admitted instead he blames me. Praying for my marriage but most importantly praying for his salvation. We have been married 25 yrs. It's hard to just give up and walk away. I wish men would understand how damaging & hurtful it is when you cheat on a woman.

@@lastnamefirst9423 I didn't hear them laughing or making light of Teddy's infidelity at all. In fact they talked about all the pain Teddy put Tina through and how difficult it has been to get where they are today. Only by the Grace of God - and that is a powerful and beautiful thing.
So happy to see them here. I always loved Tina’s personality, and I was so happy that they stayed together.
Teddy confessed everything, and why it was hurtful, and I felt her pain as a wife, a mother, I’m so thank to God that they’re examples of what forgiveness looks like.

I have seen many Dear Future Wifey, but this has been the absolute BEST for me. It shows how when a man surrenders to God, that God is faithful to His Word and work things out for good. Yes, this was the best.
