I am an Army officer widow! I had to be strong because we had an eight year old! After six months after he passed I went back to college! I remember walking down campus thinking what am I doing here? It was over night that I had to move with our son. Find a place to live and new school! I moved again in six months to go back to college because I was a year behind my husband in school! It was strong days and crying night! Stargate SG1 helped me so very much handling the grieving period! To this day I still watch Stargate . I moved to Atlanta and had made several great friends! Got my son through Columbus university by Fort Benning! Thank you for being a strong lady! We all have our times of being low but you have to keep going! I still really miss the Army but now it’s me and my dog Abe! Son lives in LA . I’m in Ky at least for now! I’m an artist! Thank you for everything you and the show has done! Hello to all the actor! This is probably the one I will answer. I wanted to tell of my experience at Summer Con, meeting you and Richard, being able to tell you both how how much you meant to me rather than have picture taken and sent on my way. But I wasn’t sure how to frame it in one of the questions. But from 1996-2012, the character Jaina Solo was with me., guiding me, giving me strength. She sadly no longer officially exists in Star Wars canon, which was a very poor decision. She was an amazing character, daughter of Han Solo and Leia Organa, and only two years older than me in the timeline when I discovered her. We grew up together. I could tell so much about her-wrote about her for my college admissions essay. But since there are no more stories being told with her, it’s like we’ve grown apart. That she’s being forgotten. So I took her name, to honor her memory, and the person I wanted to be.
