Im just gonna go ahead and say that every Marvel hero took inspiration from him. The sarcasm the humor, etc. I think both Sg1 and Farscape lowkey defined the next generations of action heroes and movies.

Im really happy this show brought Atlantis to production. But sad they stopped Atlantis because it was far superior to SG-1.

When I am down hearted or going through life “stuff”, I go to SG1 for a marathon. The brilliance of the actors who bring these characters alive are my pseudo friends. It’s like I am part of SG1. Now, I am dealing with yet another cancer and guess what? I am visiting my SG1 friends again for a marathon. Richard Dean Anderson and his sarcasm and facial expressions make me laugh out loud. Carter, Daniel, T’ealc interaction? Priceless. They make me laugh, cry, and long for a home that is hard to put my hand on.

This is probably the one I will answer. I wanted to tell of my experience at Summer Con, meeting you and Richard, being able to tell you both how how much you meant to me rather than have picture taken and sent on my way. But I wasn’t sure how to frame it in one of the questions. But from 1996-2012, the character Jaina Solo was with me., guiding me, giving me strength. She sadly no longer officially exists in Star Wars canon, which was a very poor decision. She was an amazing character, daughter of Han Solo and Leia Organa, and only two years older than me in the timeline when I discovered her. We grew up together. I could tell so much about her-wrote about her for my college admissions essay. But since there are no more stories being told with her, it’s like we’ve grown apart. That she’s being forgotten. So I took her name, to honor her memory, and the person I wanted to be.

Randomly my television turns into Samsung TV and the channel does a MacGyver marathon every day from 2pm to 11pm, it’s brought back so many good memories of my early childhood (born in 82) and now me and my 4 year old daughter dance our brains out to the theme music during the opening credits and the closing credits. It’s wholesome and wonderfume EVEN with the espionage and violence😂 they just don’t makem like this anymore and every few episodes have a more serious tone about rhinos in the wild or rare eagles or Native Americans etc, the old woke actually made sense. Soo very grateful for Deans role in it all;) nothing like the friendship between MacGyver, Jack dalton and Pete! Haha❤

Where the argument fails to some degree, is that politicians have the final say about making decisions (until the next election OR if a referendum is called) and the people (who also discuss their own views on subjects that politicians also 'discuss') have no (direct) say in the decision making.

I'm not going to lie, I was watching Stargate mostly because of McGyver. The idea was cool but it want too much into brave Americans freeing natives like it could change the past ;-) here on Earth.

What a garbage show. It's just 90% this blowhard rambling drawn out and very little from the guest.

I finally got a chance to see the panel! I really wanted to be there but I was busy running photo ops at the time. What you do is very much needed and appreciated. I'm really glad that I got a chance to meet you all in person.
