Best moment in the franchise when watching the entire series, perhaps including concurrently with SGA in the fan suggested watch order, has to be "Unending". There are SO MANY great moments but imo that's the best because of the emotional pay off, not contrived but excited properly and with reverence. There are so many great moments, like the episode "Window of opportunity" that I also love and there are many many others but " Unending" is a tear jerker after watching all of SG1 and SGA overlaps in order, especially binge watching.

The difference between a celebrity voicing their opinions and the common person, it's because the common person doesn't stand to lose a million fans or half of the country when people find out. Very few celebrities are so A list that they are above scrutiny and losing fans. If I were a celebrity and I was playing it smart, I absolutely would not voice my opinion on politics too much simply because I stand to lose so many people around the world, and that could actually hurt my industry and hurt my livelihood. But hey, if she really does not care about losing fans, then more power to her. Most people especially actors cannot afford to lose their fan base.

Macgyver was perhaps harder for him😬, but better for us. It helped me and lots of other ppl develop our creativity, curiosity, ingenuity...

There are good things about it too, even though the negative things exist. (I have an example below). It’s helpful to see the skills and other good things developed from it. For instance a person I know has been a communication expert for about 30 years and he’s helped many people, and due to the fact that he always showed appreciation to his parents for what they taught him, I wrongly assumed was that they taught him by being good communicators themselves - but that wasn’t the case, it was the opposite. He looks at it like this: When someone is nasty to you (not the extreme end, I’m referring to unintentional things), it’s an opportunity to be a good example and not allowing their negative behavior to affect you and make you behave like they do, and with the attitude of hoping people can be their best, to help lift others up, while still protecting yourself from those who have no interest in having a personal compass or being their best. His parents were good, decent people with good intentions, they were just unaware of how the way they communicated was not good for kids or anyone else, and were just doing the best they could according to what knowledge they had - so this man made it his mission to not only teach by being a good example himself, but he did it as a career. He still thanks his parents to this day (with humor and a bit of sass), and loves them dearly - it’s about who he decided to be as a person regardless of how others decide to be, which matches what all ancient spiritual knowledge & teachings are about.

Haven't watched this vid yet, but I'd guess that RD Anderson had more fun on Stargate...because on MacGyver he was in just about every scene, so it must have been a terrifically exhausting shoot for EVERY episode....now I watch the vid...
