i wonder what the engineers think of all the weight of those locks added to the bridge they were not calculated into the original spec's their are probably a few tons of metal spread out across the length of the bridge that cathedral must have taken over a 100 years to build probably 3 generations of the same family of stone masons working on it you just don't see this kind of history in north America just amazing stuff to see my brother got married in a church in England that was 700 or so years old really cool place
