Hi Heather, a pro tip for parking overnight in ice and snow is to lift the wiper blades into the up position and they won’t freeze to the windshield and makes it easier to scrape and clean.
Heather, YT has recommended your past few videos to me, and all I can say is I'm impressed. You're an absolute shredder!! I wouldn't hit half the stuff I've seen you ride. Your are definitely an elite level rider, and you do a fantastic job of overcoming fear. Off the bike you seem super down to earth and very sweet. Wishing you all the success possible!
Sick sends! Rode back east this summer too but missed Thunder Mountain! took the southern route back hitting Snowshoe, WV, Windrock, TN, Growler bike park, MO, Bentonville, AR and Spider Mountain! Have a great winter er in Cali!
@@HeatherMunive the first one isn’t too bad it just looks scary like most of the features on Fort Hill. I will say its one of the funnest jumps on the line. Now the last one is very intimidating i feel though once you have hit the 1st one a bunch then the last one is very doable i have the last one left to clean the trail from top to bottom 🤘
You should get a frost guard cover for the front window or some stand off wedges for the wiper arms so you don't have to scrape the windows when it snows and freezes.
Bet that’s an awesome feeling of redemption! Congrats. I rode Pacifica (south of San Francisco) last weekend and skipped a few jumps that have been eating away at me. Hoping for redemption myself this weekend! Safe travels 🤘
Happy you went back and crushed it!! It would've bothered you all winter. Good call on respecting the snow and ice i live in canada and get more than my share of winter weather.
Fantastic video Heather and a big congratulations on going back and having a go on your jump well done. OMG I have never seen it like that with snow storms we don’t get those here in New Zealand. But I’m glad you got back safely. So looking forward to seeing you in your next video
I would have definitely gone south but I had to arrive to Northern California and that was the fastest route. I will re think that route next time haha thank you for watching 😊
Great job at the drops and jumps Heather , you should really consider doing how to videos and talking about bike set up and all of that good stuff that would really help other riders that are trying to progress.
@@HeatherMunive holy cow, it's a bit cold for me in Northern Arizona, Flagstaff, Prescott and Sedona only have highs in the mid 50's right now...too cold for me ja ja. Heck I won't even go up to Mt. Lemmon in Tucson until it warms up in the late mornings right now. I prefer them 60 and 70 degree temps ha ha. Ride Safe!
Awesome job!! Definitely looks like you could preload your jumps a bit more, you have plenty of speed but need a bit more pop to clear comfortably. Keep it up!
Thank you! Yes I cannot wait to be back. That will be my goal for sure. Those jumps and drops looked so much scarier in person so it will be a huge fear to overcome for me. But I’m excited.
Awesome work on the jump. Western Nebraska is windiest driving conditions I've ever been in -- but it least it was during the summer for me. Next time you need tires, look at Michelin CrossClimate 2s. They're all-seasons, but also rated for snow. I used to swap tires every season (Midwesterner), but no longer. /dadmodeoff
Yeah driving through Wyoming was sooooo windy I will probably choose a different route next time if I can avoid it. Thank you for the suggestion on tires I will look into them!
You will have 500k subscribers in no time! You should hook up with some other Big name UA-cam riders, like Single Track Sampler, Remy, Yoann!! Do IT!!!
Another "Ballsy Jump Video" I know I can't do that on my Norco Sight e-bike...tooo heavy, but that's o.k. for now. I am converting it to Mullet set up and will have to work up to jumps and drops 1/2 that size....and you think your scared??
FYI I get my DEF at truck stops like Loves at the pumps on the big truck side. No hassle or plastic waste and way cheaper. Solid work on the jump line!
I used to love your videos but recently you’ve been filming your biking only in portrait which is cool for reels and shorts but for UA-cam long form videos it’s kind of lazy. Seems like we’re just watching leftover reels or throwaway footage. I still love your old videos though.
The music for the plumbing bit really set the mood🤣
Hi Heather, a pro tip for parking overnight in ice and snow is to lift the wiper blades into the up position and they won’t freeze to the windshield and makes it easier to scrape and clean.
Ahhhh thank you so much for that. I will definitely do that if I ever get snowed again!!
@@HeatherMunive No don’t do that!!! I’ve lived my whole life in the snow/cold and it is proven to be bad for the wipers😅
'Right now the van is looking like....'
the cleanest thing on 4 wheels.
Thank you 😊 😅
You need to make some "Send it right in the air" merchandise. I'd be first in line for a t-shirt. 🙃
Haha thank you. That would be awesome !
Nice attack on the jump!
Sooo awesome epik beautiful 👍🤘💪❤❤❤
I love your videos Heather. You are so cute when you smile. ❤️
No Gloves?! You're a savage. Love the content, super positive vibes/giggles.
You had that jump covered you've got some skill girl. keep the vids coming 😀😀
Great vid as always:) I have to say it’s always funny watching people not used to the snow go crazy over it haha.
Great job conquering that jump! I love the feeling after completing a new hit, then sessioning it.

It was nice watching this in August, we’re frying here in Texas! 🔥 😂

Fort hill is so fun nice job wait till you see the last 2 jumps 😮
That’s what I’ve heard haha excited to head back for this challenge next year

Awesome work Heather! Congrats, and thank you for the few side shots you provided :-)
Thank you for watching im glad you enjoyed it 😊
We work in weather like that. Can't say it's fun. The joys of living in the upper Midwest. Tomorrows windchill is going to be -10 f.
Heather, I see your videos from Chile, I Ride bike and like you trying to my courage up with some gaps and jumps in my fifties. Saludos
Great video, spanned to experience with the snow storm. Your channel is fun to follow and watch the videos. Greetings from Germany
Thank you 😊
Get it Heather! Let's go!

Coffee makes everything better! Congrats on the jumps!!
Ughh I agree. Love coffee!

Haha exactly that drive would have been so much longer if I didn’t go back to at least attempt the jump. Thank you! That snow was no joke.
That double was HUGE
Drive safe on those winter roads, it's no joke! Awesome vid Heather, keep it up!
It was a wild drive for sure. Thank you!
Heck yeah, H World! Way to send that thang!

Your bravery and progression in biking is so impressive!
Thank you. I love riding bikes and the feeling it brings into my life 😊 so happy I can share it with you all too!
Where did you get those noches de colombia from? They looked amazing and I need a good place for dinner after Thunder!
Love your courage on goin back to thunder mountain, great trip as well
Thank you! That drive back to the west coast would have been a lot longer if I didn’t go back to at least try it 😊

Thank you so much. I will try and do some how to videos. I’d love to share any knowledge I have to other to help them conquer some fears.
@@HeatherMunive Great! you definitely have the skills for it !
Awesome! Nice job! 👍
Safe travels.
Thank you 😊
I miss the snow ❄ ..but living in Southern Arizona in the winter months is nice. It's our prime riding season November through March.
I’m on my way to northern arizona now. I hear the weather is perfect, can’t wait. What a great place to be living!!

I80 can be a fun drive in the snow. Have driven it many times in worse conditions.
Awesome job!! Definitely looks like you could preload your jumps a bit more, you have plenty of speed but need a bit more pop to clear comfortably. Keep it up!
Thank you your right I could probably pop more. The speed going into that jump was just so scary haha but your right. Always something good to work on

Hi from Ukraine 🇺🇦, Heather! Snow scenes are the best! And you did well on a big double!
Thank you 😊
I wash you video and you motivate me to do it I got the lane Alloway thank you
Travel safe. I hate winter!!!! Thats just me though 😂
How does the van handle in the snow? I seen you said it isn’t AWD EEK! I live in Minnesota I know about winter driving
Yay!!! So nice to see you overcome your fears.
Thank you 😊
You go Heather! With that one at 4:42 you had it dialed. Demon exorcised! :)
Thank you 😊
Curious why you have those thule door locks? So you dont have to bring s key? Tia

I didn't know sprinter vans used Diesel and def btw if you go to truck stops they have def pumps instead of using the jugs

QUESTION ARE YOU USING A E BIKE TO DO THOSE STUNTS?
No I wasn’t on an e bike for this trail. It was the specialized enduro
Hi heather, what tyres u using front and rear?
I was running the pinner pro kenda tires.
@@HeatherMunive front and rear pinner pro kenda tyres?
is that van AWD?
No 🙃
Are you the single tracks sampler’s sister ??
seemed like a pretty average normal snow
I hate when something gets in my head like that but thats why we ride all about the progression
Exactly 😊
Congrats on your redemption 🎉🎉🎉glad you made it back to California 💝🙏!..
Thank you. Happy to be back 😊
@@HeatherMunive your welcome 🤗 💝!!..hopefully California has better weather.
What is DEF?
It’s diesel exhaust fluid. It’s supposed to help clean the emissions from the engine.
I thought you were ready for Squamish and Whistler but after seeing you interact with the snow...maybe not.🤣 Buena suerte!!!
Haha thanks 🙃😜
FYI I get my DEF at truck stops like Loves at the pumps on the big truck side. No hassle or plastic waste and way cheaper.
Solid work on the jump line!
Hmmmm I have seen that before. I will definitely look into getting the DEF from there next time. Thank you !!
I ride with my dog 🐕 you should get a companion. It would add an element to your cast...just sayin

I'm guessing your not from an area that gets snow lol
Snowed in? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha yeahhhh I’m a Floridian at heart 😅
@@HeatherMunive I hear ya. I’m used to 90”- 110” of snow a year on average.
I shit my pants on that lift one day
