Been a good while since we had a good long multipart one. Really looking forward to this one.
Same. I was really getting frustrated with all the aitah style stories for the past few months.
Usually, we get horror stories...this just sounds like a fun campaign to me. Even if it does sound a bit dm vs player at some points.
I like that its the good version of DM vs player. Where the players are still the focus, but for better AND worse
DM vs player can be a good time, people just often think it's a combative thing because of too many internet horror stories lol
@@negative6442 no, this started out as competitive. the opening salvo looked like it was designed to punish the player and put the campaign back on track. then the dm decided to roll with it.
Your party is the BBEG's of another campaign lmao
Im always interested in the elemental plane & glad that the story involves around the planes.
52 min tale and it has multiple parts? Let's go!
Business with salt, elementals & monsters to make a profit!
The untold potential of D&D! But also ingame consequences should things backfire!
This Rogue is certainly the Tony Montana of the story! & could fall hard should things go wrong
0:29 salt elemental that’s a new one
They're actual monsters in Pathfinder, believe it or not. They're a subset of Earth elementals
Damn this party is so evil 😂
It took me some days to find the time to really appreciate this story. And I'm glad I waited for the right moment. It's been a while since we got something like this. This video reminded me why I subscribed to the chanel in the first place. Thank you so much for tackling this story! I'm looking forward for part two!
God damn Pathfinder 1e was a wild ride
Love your reading!
Poor poor Slimey!!! What did he ever do to you???
Wow, what kind of things would give an Aboleth PTSD?
great story
Such a good story.
I really like the new voice
I noped out of this once the slaves factored into it.
Its good. Give it another try, but from the angle of: the players are basically becoming the bbeg of a diff campaign
@@ed765super They're using slaves, so I don't really care what else is going on beyond that.
Nope back in. This is amazing.
Part 1??
Oh my gosh... these giys are gpnna cause some universe ending calamity by accident!
Arent aboleths from the far realm? Why would going there bother it?
In Pathfinder, Aboleths are ancient, otherworldly creatures but have lived on Golarion for milennia. It's a different setting from D&D
The _chutzpah_ of this party...
I'm half expecting things to backfire on them at some point.
When did the narrator change?
I like this one better
The new guy sounds bored
No wievs in 1 minute, he really fell of didnt he
This is the first good video they're put out in a hot minute. So not surprising
There was a lot of chaff that could've been cut from this story.
Not a single bit was unnecessary.
Why did we switch narrators? Intro.
I miss the old voice
The lack of transparency when it comes to the old voiceover is appauling
What are you on about??
Is this a different narrator?
I hit the prima noctis thing and 'sometimes they didn't survive' and decided nope! Love the storyteller, but not this tale.
Plz stop the old narrator voice was so much more loved plz bring him back. I cant watch these new videos I'll watch the old ones every once in a while I've unsubscribed because of this change
I like this one better
@@liquiddw2 i respect your opinion and thank you for letting me know but for me personally i cant do it , the stories don't have the same great appeal to me anymore it doesn't feel like I'm listening to my favorite podcast or story teller anymore
