I love the engine sound when you step on the gas it sounds like a monster
"She was admirin my ride"
Sounds awesome. I always loved and wanted one of the first gen monte Carlos.
I've had a 71 SS Monte since 89. Only gen of Monte I like.
Sure sounds good, damn. Makes me want to open the pipes on the Cadillac, let that 500 sing a little.
whats up man, i think that caddy deserves a set of hundred dollar ebay cutouts lol
One of The Best Muscle Car's of Fast and Furious Saga
I agree. I ended up with the #2 stunt car from the movie (an actual 70 Monte). Has the 632 valve covers on a warmed up 454 (still have not had it on a dyno, but estimate round 500 hp). This video is a really nice tribute car!
Excellent road trip! That Monte Carlo Looks and Sounds Angry, move outtta the way, feeling the Spring breeze, Marty!
Movie had a 509ci and one even bigger , plus a bunch of stock 350 backups
This one had a 350 at the time of this filming but the car has a 509 that's about to be dropped in it in a few weeks.
Sounds BADASS!!!!😎👊
Sounds great .
One of my dream cars right here 🤯
Nice addition with the alice 🤘
right on man, i knew someone would catch that.
It’s so cool
Great vid. I fired up my 1970 442 project I've been working on and posted a couple short vids of 1st and 2nd start ups. Talked to my engine guy today and adjusted the sniper set up and got a couple other tweaks so should post a tuned 455 vid soon
cool man, hope all went well, ill have to drop by and check it out
no cage, no metal dash, not a big block, not a 4 spd, and no Tabasco sauce, its a monte though
things have changed, its got a 509 now and a cage is coming, it does have a bottle of tabasco now
nice replica
i got ringing too!
I wonder what those cam specs are
The one in the movie was a 70 round marker lights. 71 same as 70 but rectangle, 72 location between grill and headlights.
Yea, were well aware. It gets the job done tho.
@UsefulEntertainment had to point it out. Majority of people think it's a 71.
I have a 70 Monte just being to be finished, probably getting a fuel injected 6.0
cool man. in my personal opinion an LS swap isnt worth the modifications and cash unless your putting a turbo on it. stock motor with a big single. if you blow the motor, just replace it with another.
Bawitdaba intensifies
badas 😎
Cool car but Too bad it's an Automatic ! The Tokyo Drift Monte I think was a 4 Speed, at least it showed him operating 3 pedals and shifting
Lol, can't disagree
The #1 and #2 cars were 4 speeds and the rest (like another 6) were all autos with mostly or all 350 engines (last that rolled did not even run :)
What exhaust setup do you have on it?
hes running true duals into pypes violators split into kick stands
Where have you been ? What's going on with the cutlass ?
ohh ive been around, i put the cutlass down for the past 2 weeks. im not doing anything else with that car till i get an exhaust put on it, cant even fully tune it.
youre supposed to have kid rock playing
ive been trying to find a monte carlo for months try recreate sean’s but its almost impossible to find one under 20k
F&F tax
Did you have the 400ci engine in this car?
it was a 350 at the time, after tis video it ended up with a 383 and its now in the process of having a 509 built. we actually just swapped the frame out of it yesterday because it got bent and that video will be up @ 5:00 tonight.
The movie car wasn't an automatic..
Which car, hero 1, hero 2 or the countless stunt cars they used.
Where's the drifting?
it was a 71 not a 72 my guy
It was a 70, not a 71 or 72 my guy... Anyway, what's the difference in the long run???
@@UsefulEntertainment it was a 71 just saying nothing wrong with any of it
@@Vol3Original ahh i got you. the car in the movie has a 70 front bumper on it, with round parking lights, a 71 has rectangular parking lights in the bumper and a 72, like this one had parking lights on the outboard of the grill, a google image search will clarify. the car in the movie is a 70
