It should be noted that installing LED lights in a housing meant for halogen bulbs is against US DOT codes and can get you a ticket in most municipalities. If you want to install LEDs you need to have projector style housings. LEDs in halogen (reflector) style housings do not control the out put like a projector and can actually make you a road hazard due to the excessive beam width blinding other drivers. It's not to say that you will get a ticket, but it certainly increases your chances.
I tinted my headlights a while back and can say to anyone else who is thinking about tinting their heads led’s are a must. While it’s still not “as bright” as I’d like it makes it much better and a bit easier to see at night.
Seeing the professional tests on all the available LED bulbs, the best top 4 are: GTR Ultra 2 S-V.4 (Not the Supernova knockoffs) SNGL SH55u2 Diode Dynamics SL-1 Cheap $50 bulbs won't be as bright, won't have a factory quality beam pattern, but instead blind oncoming drivers, and have a short lifespan due to insufficient cooling ability. Sure they'll look white, but produce a low quality light that scatters instead of being focused only where you need it most. Pay more for better bulbs, the others are 66 to 75% less for a reason and after these four, there is a HUGE drop in quality for the rest of the LED bulbs made.
yoooooo there's a fix but it's kind of annoying and only works if you have the keyfob on you. As you close the door there are sensors where you can lay the keyfob on as you close the door and it doesn't beep at you.

Just did this to my headlights and fog lights. I got switchback light for my fogs. Goes from bright white to yellow fogs by clicking the fog lights off then on. To switch back you hit them off again and then on and they go white again.
@Cameron Alford When you install the led did the fan housing on the led prevent you from placing on the weather proof rubber cap on the back side of the headlight housing?
I bought these lights for my focus st but they were aimed to high, went to go try and adjust them but it’s an st1 so it doesn’t have the adjustment rip
Do this led's blind oncoming traffic? I had led's on mine but had to change them, ppl kept putting their high beams at me cause my led's were too bright for them
Have you Dyno'd this car yet? I'm curious how much power it's putting down? My 2013 Focus ST is only stage 1: filter, cold air intake, Cat-Back exhaust, rear motor mount and a stage 1 93 octane tune from a Cobb accessport. Huge difference compared to stock. Love the videos dude!
I’m stage 2+ right now, and when I was on my stage 1 map from Stratfied. I was making more torque than horsepower, but if I were to guess, maybe like a few more horsepower than stock since I have a catback exhaust. The air filter doesn’t add any power, just better air flow and more turbo noise.
I've read that the stock intake is just as good as any aftermarket one, and you get literally no gain from an intake. All you need to do is get a high flow filter like a k&n. No need for the intake tube.
Wow what a big difference. Gonna see about some for my speed 3. Just installed a used Greddy type s BOV you should get one for the ST would be amazing Cam!
Would I have to lower the beam pattern to not blind oncoming traffic or would it not make a difference because of the housing type. I installed LEDs for only a week but had to take them off because people would flash their lights at me all the time.
If you find an led highbeam replacement I’d be very interested because right now I have led low beams and led fogs but silverstar 5000k highbeams and it’s irritates me that they are halogen.
So I’m having a problem with my ST when I installed my LEDs they were running for like five minutes turned off the car. I came back out and my LEDs will only stay on for like half a second and then automatically turn back off and I get a low beam failure they are H11s
@cameron Alford I got this lights from your link and I got an erro code saying low beams at fault and they turn on for 5secs and then automatically turn off do you have any suggestions mine is a 2013 Ford Focus st
I've got a 2013 Ford Focus Titanium and I got the H11 Auxbeam LED headlight bulbs. For some reason, when the car is off, the LEDs flicker. Any reason for this?
Are the bulbs different between the different trims? I have an ST2 and my lights are white like my daytime running lights, yours were yellow. Is yours ST1? I wanna buy these since I plan on lightly tinting my headlights, but don’t wanna get LEDs that aren’t much brighter than my stock ones

I did this in my focus and now all my lights are messed up... Headlights turn on for Low beams and low beams turn on for headlights etc fog lights won’t come on at all 😂 What could even be wrong?!?
So how do I do this. I got some LEDs installed in my headlights and my installer said there was no need. He said to leave the stock height. But when I drive it does shine signs bright which I feel it might be projecting a little high even though when I stand infron of the car with the lights on it doesn't seem like it
@@c-los918 on my 2018 I had to use a large long phillips head screwdriver that will adjust the headlight. if you look on the top of the head light housing at the back with a flashlight you will see it down a slot on the back of the housing. Or since they are easy to remove from the car, remove it and then you can get a good look for the adjuster.

REFLECTOR housings are NOT compatible with LED bulbs. ONLY PROJECTOR housings play nice with LEDs!

You need a "can buss decoder" (resistor pak), the LEDs are not enough load for the system.
