- Welcome to episode 13 of my van vlog-building series! This is a two-part vlog featuring the wiring and installation of my puck lights and Li Time Batteries! I ordered four 12V 200aH batteries to have a capacity of 800aH for my electrical system. I know that is a CRAZY amount of power but I will be working full time from my van. After doing a load calculation, I decided this capacity would suit my needs. Moreover, I invested in ordering my electrical components from @EXPLORISTlife. One could order their stuff individually from Amazon but I do not want to order more lugs, heat shrink, wires, etc. than I need and let the rest go to waste. With Explorist.Life, they package exactly what you need, provide all the wiring diagrams, and can answer questions via email. This made my life a lot easier and I found the pricing to be roughly the same if I had ordered them myself. Lastly, I referenced @LaurenLawliss when securing my battery in place. Routers can be handy, but also dangerous. Think oscillating multi-tool maybe. There are a host of different blades and attachments available. Harbor Freight has some inexpensive options. You're doing great!
Yea of course! I ended up buying a router with a bunch of different heads which proved very handy. I use PPE and handle them safely 🤓
