I like the first Gaelco, I don't have the 2nd one. That World Rally, Alligator Hunt and Biomechanical Toy are really fun. I beat that Glass game with a buddy of mine over a few beers, and it had us laughing like crazy with those "Hot Babe" cuts in between the levels. Good times. I'm a little hesitant to get the 2nd collection because I've heard that the games aren't quite as good, besides Thunder Hoop 2. I'm glad that you're enjoying that. I can't wait for Toaplan Arcade 3. I was pumped about the Data East Arcade 2 at first, until I dove into some of those games on my raspberry pie emulation machine, and I didn't really like them that much. Those Gaelco titles don't run well on emulation, so those are good carts to pick up if you like them. Have fun gaming dude, that's what it's all about! 💪👊
@@jmatt781 I bought the Gaelco cart to broaden the variety of my Taito Super Pocket. World Rally is a great little time waster but my favourite game is Alligator Hunt, that is just on the right side of bonkers for me. Biomechical Toy is my second favourite. It's a fun cart, very Euro-quirky.
This might be my 2nd favorite arcade cart behind Data East Arcade 1. Lightning Swords and In The Hunt are 2 of my go to titles, when I'm craving some Evercade Arcade gaming.
Moon Patrol is from 1982 and at the time was a big deal because it was the game that introduced parallax scrolling. I want this cart for Moon Patrol and In the Hunt, the rest is just a bonus (well, maybe not that American Football game).
i bought an EverCade for Moon Patrol. Was shocked they have Battle Chopper as i am also a big fan of Fantasy Zone on the Sega Master System & this is that game, but a Chopper! Then you have In The Hunt which i like to call it, Metal Slug Under the Water! President Dale of Mars Attacks says, "3 out of 5 games being played...that ain't bad!" Ack! Ack! Ack!

It's a good cart. For me, I had almost everything already from the Super Retrocade so In the Hunt was the only new addition but In the Hunt is probably a top 5 game for me that's offered on Evercade. side note, I've never been a fan of R Type. I think shooters are awesome and it's my favorite genre to play these days but for some reason I can never get into R Type. A different UA-camr (SNES Drunk) explained how R Type 3 needs to be played more like Ghouls and Ghosts in how you memorize your path and attack pattern for every step of the level and for some reason it works for me in R Type 3 and I really enjoy that game but in the original, I play for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, die and don't even play my second life. I also feel similar regarding Truxton, another one that's considered an all time classic but for RType that feeling might just come from Irem making some of their games too darn hard (I'm looking at you Holy Diver).
I hope there is! I’m not sure if I played Ninja Spirit before or not. I’ll have to look it up. I’ve played so many damn games over the years, I forget what I’ve played and haven’t played lol

I’m a Blackhawks fan….they’ve sucked for a bit now, but I’ve stuck with them through decades of sucking lol. They had a great 8 year run though winning 3 cups. It’s back to the drawing board for them now. Thats Hockey for ya though. Bedard looks promising and seems like a great player to build around 👍

@@GameFreak1976 there's a hockey game on the NES released by Jaleco that was halfway decent (can't remember what it was called). I would say that's likely to feature on Evercade at some point. It ain't NHL 94 by a long stretch but it's a fun little title and would scratch an itch for hockey fans.
I am telling you: the emulation of R-Type is MESSED UP... even on the VS, testing with multiple monitors... shimmering and worse. The cycles seem to be out of sync even in pixel perfect mode: they probably didn't check the FPS and resolution of the original arcade game (both are irregular).
I felt like it was kinda messed up too. It has screen tears in certain parts. I still really like the game, but if want to play it, I usually play it on a different device. Regardless, the cart is still pretty solid IMO. Besides 10 yard fight, of course.

Ninja Spirit = all about the atmosphere. The music, especially. The gameplay is just _okay._ No offense.
