..thanks for the infos👍 Very nice video... Sidenote...you were a bit of reading the preassure...its 1950psi at the last index before 2000...and 1880psi instead of 1980psi...cheers
This is the perfect video for me mate I just got a Y61 2.8 over here in UK and it conked out 2 days after I had it, not starting any more. Pumps been sent off to a specialist to be tested - but I am wondering about injectors now too! I'd like it to run perfect might look at getting the injectors done/replaced too! Great way of testing them too I was thinking surely you cant test something so specialist with a pump and a gauge but you proved you can!!
Hey mate Have you ever tried the gu injectors with the gq pump on the car because I am wondering if the gu injectors are the problem side note they have both injectors and pump been rebuilt. The problem is I can’t turn the fuel down without the car wanting to stall
Are you running a 9mm pump? I dont believe that GU injectors would be a problem. Do you have an EGT gauge? Make sure that when you bump the fuel down you adjust the idle bump screw up so the engine stays running.
@@ebayenthusiast42 hahaha thanks for your help mate just got it going had the old vacuum line still connected to the vacuum pump to the old sensor and it would go to stall out when I would turn the wheel. I have just blocked it off atm what did you do with it?
I’m having issues with my rd28 gq at the moment. Would white/white-grey exhaust smoke under load, would bad injectors be causing this do you think? The car did sit not driving for a solid 3-4months. I’ve also just replaced my turbo thinking it would fix it, also drained the coolant and oil and there was no mixing. I’m so lost so any help would be appreciated
white smoke can either be coolant burning or unburnt diesel which would mean the car would barely be driving and not able to produce power. does the white smoke stick around even when fully at operating temp?
Instresting video there mate I’ve got a problem with a top end tick/knock at the back end of my RD28T GU patrol, Would love to get in touch with you mate to have a chat 💬

I was going to test the pump myself but decided to give it to a professional. Had so many setbacks on the rig will hopefully have it running this week
@@ebayenthusiast42 likewise! Hoping my pump comes back this week. Excited.

@@jackspence9825 which vac lines? All my vac pump connects to is the brake boost and vacuum accumulator canister.
Hello, what is the sequence of the injector pipes in the Nissan patrol RD28 injection pump?
Is the the sequence that the pipes are attached and fitted or the sequence that the injector pump feeds the injectors?
