Every knicks game this season has been very physical and the refs usually just let it slide. They just gotta stay consistent with the calls especially on a crucial position. Flopping might be the only way to get a call nowadays
Exactly, how do the refs not call an illegal screen there and then call a illegal screen on Myles Turner 30 seconds later for a screen that was way less illegal. Call the game consistently, if they're gonna call it tight or let them play, call it both ways fairly. And to call that with 13 seconds left in the 4th Q in a 1 point game of the east semis is such a joke. Embarrassing for the NBA who obviously want a Boston vs New York ECF. Because it is a moving screen. The refs need to call it more consistently. That’s the issue. Sometimes these calls are fouls then late on they’re not. How can players adjust to the bipolar calls
I think the refs have a really difficult job. However, I think lack of consistency in the rules and the application of the rules from the front office has only made it more difficult for them to interpret and make consistent calls. Furthermore, for years, players were incentivized to foul bait and flop and the league does a 180 in the middle of the season which only made the refs job harder. There are so many little things that are not called: players not fully going behind the baseline to inbound the ball after a made basket, lane violations on every free throw (just watch Ant commit a violation on his own free throw shot), jump balls where players swipe it well before it reaches the apex of the toss, carrying the ball instead of actually dribbling. The list goes on. Basically, there's no consistency and commitment to enforcing the rules which opens up the refs and the league to all kinds of questions about bias and shenanigans. Perhaps there needs to be a cleaning up and clearing up the rule book and an emphasis on adherence to the basic rules and style of the game. Great video as usual

Let's be honest here, it's 8 vs 5, might as well give the refs Knicks jerseys so the Pacers know who they're playing against. The NBA/Adam Silver obviously want a Boston vs New York ECF for ratings and $$$. It's hard to watch NBA playoff games like this and still believe in the integrity game.
@tjcarr8097 dude don't be a casual everyone knows the refs cheated the pacers just like the refs cheated the 76ers smh Adam Sliver doesn't want a small market team like the Indiana pacers in the conference finals just like he wants the money from the New York Market
If an action is borderline foul / no foul and is called inconsistently throughout the game, you simply don’t blow the whistle with 17 seconds left in a 2nd round playoff game…unless you want to determine the outcome of the game in place of the players 😂
@@Nicolas-tf1ub nah you talk like a casual Refs are bias for the Knicks they screwed the Pacers just like they screwed the Philadelphia 76ers and Adam Silver wants the new york Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals for the playoffs views money

That ref was looking to blow the whistle on thay screen. The amount of illegal screens throughout the whole game and they call that one at that moment?
I dont like witch hunts like this because it doesnt change behaviour it encourages refs to "make it right". Also, for example the screen you showed in the beginning by divencenzo, Nesmith does not sell that foul enough to draw attention. Divencenzo sells it well on Turner. You cant really complain about that. Vet players are really good at drawing attention to fouls ehile young players try to play clean and play through it. There is a balance you meed to strike so your not a free throw merchant or flopper but your also not getting cooked because your the only one following the rules.
Coach you shoulda done the Wolves video first seeing its the biggest story right now and also your game 1 Wolves video did great with 100k views as of right now
no the refs did not help the Knicks..on the call against Turner after review it was the right call …Turner moved and Divencenzo took advantage..a moving screen is a moving screen no matter how you slice it and should be called no matter how much time is left in the game.
I I see refs making bad calls on both sides of the floor and also missing a lot. of calls on Both sides of the floor… the reality is you don’t leave the game in the hands of the refs , !!!! You Play the game to win, make hustle plays and score by all means. And stop the blood clot crying!!!! Let’s freaking go Knicks!!!!!
I was a huge knicks fan all season but in playoffs I just can’t stand them. They’ve been playing dirty and the refs have let them get away with that. First the Philly game and now this one, it’s like they’re given every advantage and do not deserve it
Fun fact: the refs helped the 76ers out way more than the other way around. 76ers had the player with the most FTA in the series, more FTA than the Knicks as a team and had less overall personal fouls called on them. Cope, cry, seethe do whatever it takes to get it out of your system.
That stat really doesn’t mean much. Just because a player may be great at drawing fouls doesn’t mean the refs are favouring him. You need to asses the critical fouls at the critical moments. Game 2 is widely discussed as having been officiated controversially in the knicks favour, you should check those out since you’re clearly uninformed. You don’t have the information to make a call on officiating the entire series and using FTA isn’t a proxy at all so maybe look into the film before you suggest others weep and process.
@@aw20000hdhdhdjdidn exactly. Brunson earns his free throws legit… it’s an awful argument to be like “well um ackshully the 76ers deserved all the calls that’s my team and how do the Knicks even get calls like I don’t even watch them”. You want to talk about playing dirty? Embiitch should have been clearly ejected in game 3 after trying to intentionally injure two players. There are at least 3 examples of this being the case throughout the series. The NBA also came out and admitted that Maxey traveled in the 4 point play that essentially won Philly the game. Oh btw, the pacers had the refs in their pocket tonight and still got destroyed by a hobbled Knicks squad. Cope and seethe

now do a video on the freethrows OKC got in the first half of game one against the Mavs :-)
“Feeling like” the Knicks benefitted most from the calls is not the same as PROVING IT. 🤦🏻♂️ I miss the facts
Clean up the game by calling the fouls. The players will adjust and the play will improve.
Correct call. Inconsistent throughout the game though. Thanks for showing multiple examples
@tjcarr8097 dude don't be a casual everyone knows the refs cheated the pacers just like the refs cheated the 76ers smh Adam Sliver doesn't want a small market team like the Indiana pacers in the conference finals just like he wants the money from the New York Market
@darnellwilliams8783 or maybe the refs just suck lol. They about to have an OKC and Minnesota conference finals. Both smaller market teams.
@darnellwilliams8783 The refs screwed the Knicks in game 3 by not ejecting Embiid, and they missed the travel on Maxey. The refs have been bad all year lol. I guess you forgot the game against Houston that the Knicks lost because of a dumb last second foul call. Or when these same pacers decked Brunson in the face in front of the refs and there wasn’t a call earlier this season. You use the word casual as an insult, I think most fans are casual fans unless you watch every single basketball game. It doesn’t seem like you do because you have this weird conspiracy theory that the league loves the Knicks when they haven’t won anything this century lol
Because its not the lakers team, now coach nick is more "yeah, its the ref
lol facts that’s what I was thinking this whole video 😂
why isnt ronnie nun included in these kinds of videos anymore?
That ref was looking to blow the whistle on thay screen. The amount of illegal screens throughout the whole game and they call that one at that moment?
Great game
I mean, i saw 3 carries on the first clip so all fair
1 like = 1 minute of ap calc homework
Watch Patrickjmt if you’re struggling lol.
No Hali helped the Knicks by scoring only 6 points
Glad there's no captain Picard in this one defending the refs
I dont like witch hunts like this because it doesnt change behaviour it encourages refs to "make it right". Also, for example the screen you showed in the beginning by divencenzo, Nesmith does not sell that foul enough to draw attention. Divencenzo sells it well on Turner. You cant really complain about that. Vet players are really good at drawing attention to fouls ehile young players try to play clean and play through it. There is a balance you meed to strike so your not a free throw merchant or flopper but your also not getting cooked because your the only one following the rules.
1 word : SPORTSBOOKS
Coach you shoulda done the Wolves video first seeing its the biggest story right now and also your game 1 Wolves video did great with 100k views as of right now
So you want him to cover what every other outlet is covering instead of something nuanced?
I guess they still ref SGA as before the all star break 😂
worst officiating favoring Knicks especially last 2 mins
Knicks always benefited, even the game against the 76ers it should have been game 7 if it was called fairly 😢
Yummy tears
Crappy calls are part of the game, refs make bad calls just like they’re going to make good calls!
This ruined such a good game. Please man give guys fines for flopping already
no the refs did not help the Knicks..on the call against Turner after review it was the right call …Turner moved and Divencenzo took advantage..a moving screen is a moving screen no matter how you slice it and should be called no matter how much time is left in the game.
lol this only complaining in this video because is the Knicks if it was the lakers he would say every call or right
Wow! Someone other than LeBron getting a call?
Lol. Jk. Love your channel bro!
Obi Toppin > Julius Randle
Will AI refs take the fun out of the game?
Computer programs would never get a call wrong.
knicks have also been known to pay celebrities to attend their games. knicks all around a very sketchy team
and they say these teams play good defense. its just the refs not calling the fouls
Flex no zone 😂😂
I I see refs making bad calls on both sides of the floor and also missing a lot. of calls on Both sides of the floor…
the reality is you don’t leave the game in the hands of the refs , !!!! You Play the game to win, make hustle plays and score by all means. And stop the blood clot crying!!!! Let’s freaking go Knicks!!!!!
not only in game one, look at the first round series vs sixers, smshhh
now do the same thing to prove the refs stole game 1/2/6 from philly
Where Ronnie Nunn at?
He must be a pacers fan
BBALLBREAKDOWN
So it was like the last 3 Bucks-Pacers playoff games but against Indiana instead of in favor of them? I guess they can suck it up.
As a knicks fan . we don’t care cry 😂😂😂😂
Knicks had been benefit from the official ever since vs sixers series game, sometjing does looks fishy
It’s called loopholes & having iq knowing when to play through it & when to make the ref blow there whistles .. every elite player or team do it . They’re making the ref do
There job & unfortunately they mess up or miss stuff like everybody else & Its a part of the game
This video is exactly what all those whiners that complain the game is soft and there is no contact, should see.
lol nba fans don’t really like basketball
There is simply TOO MUCH nonsense going on in the NBA. It’s become totally unwatchable for so many reasons.
