Oh don't be a suck up. As much as everyone likes the channel it didn't make 2020 better with people dying and being able to go no where and government leaders lying to us daily!
I love anything you show us how to make, be it pasta, soap, jewelry, sandals, clothes, gem, etc. I find these videos very calming and useful and you make them so easy to follow.
Your chickens must have been so happy to have such a big area to scratch, especially with all of the left over tomatoes! We have 15 chickens on our little homestead and they are such a treat to watch! Our 3 oldest will be 9 years old this March, and they still lay occasionally! The other 12 will be a year old in May. Our ladies lay all kinds of colors as well - brown, pink, blue, and green! Are you able to have roosters where you live? We live out in the country, so our two roosters don't bother anyone when they crow at midnight. But, in the city, you cannot keep roosters, only hens. The soap turned out beautifully!
What a blessing to have married a true blue native, with insider knowledge only a true local can know. And to live in such a blessed location, even though you have to be healthy to live there, all those steps..lol..but you would obviously be used to it. Good to see all this beauty... Including yourself..thankyou..finding it hard to believe this is planet earth..your Carlos is a keeper, and an ideal balance for you..All the best

You’re living the life that I dream of in my head as an American. So pure, organic and rich with nature. Every thing looks like a picture moment. Love it, love you! You’re a precious lady.
The music you played when walking round Positano was very Christmassy. Made me feel festive although it’ll be a quiet one all over the world this year.

So beautiful to see all Christmas decorations at the same time how different is Positano with no tourist on the streets. Thank you for another wonderful video. 🌲💞🥰
Thank you Nicki and Elizabeth for showing us the Christmas decorations. I have to say the king of the show has to be the enormous lemon...! If I were there I would sing and dance around it, honestly...... Unfortunately we have to compromise lots of things this Christmas. Hopefully the new year will be healthier and we all come out of this with a new appreciation of the simple things in our lives.
Dear Nikki and Carlo, I watch you every day and love your blogs. Your life is beautiful and you are blessed to have each other. I am 80 and will probably never see Positano but Oh I dream about your wonderful life. God bless you.
Hi Niki. Your vlog brings me such joy. I live in South Africa and we've been under the severe lock down for 9 months so watching you explore and share your daily life gives me great comfort. Love to you and Carlo.
The mere fact that any shop or store owner has the fortitude to do one single thing for Christmas decorating during lockdown (especially lockdown Number 2) ... gets my 100% hands down seal of approval. When most feel like giving up or giving in... they are pushing forward. Isn't there a way to secure the tomato plants to the netting that isn't plastic, but more bio-degrade able?? Then when you cut it off the netting, if it falls into the soil, it's bio degradable. Even butchers twin would work and it's 100% cotton. That would be good for the soil as well. ?? Your soap making portion of the video was so great to watch... and you... like a kid riding a bike... you didn't forget. Nothing to worry about. And I can't wait to see the cured and finished product. Great video Nicki!
Well done to Skye and her friends for finding and decorating a real tree... (I can't stand fake trees) that can be put out in the garden and used again. I have a bay tree (laurel) in a pot in the garden (actually I have three) the shape is perfect, and mine is taller than me now, which I bring in and decorate for Christmas , and water.. Then in mid January I put it back into the garden to keep growing. Well done on that pretty soap, wrapped in muslin with a ribbon they will make gorgeous gifts.
Lovely seeing Elizabeth and the Christmas shop windows. Beautiful autumn colours in Positano. Love the man in the window with the hammer lol; conjures up all sorts of images 🙂🍁. Adore the chickens and the playpen. Well done to you and Carlo. Soaps look good. Skye's Christmas tree very cute. Always a joy to join you all on Sunday mornings 🌟
Positano is such a picturesque little town! The walk was delightful and the cheeky chickens gave me a giggle. Fun to see your kitchen while you made food and soap, I feel as though I’ve enjoyed a friendly visit with you. Wonderful pandemic therapy, thanks!
I love the Christmas decorations in the windows of your local shops....When I was a little girl here in Kansas City, Missouri the local stores had beautiful decorations in the windows with animated Santa Claus and elves and Mrs. Claus...What beautiful memories that brings back....Thank you for sharing...
Your sun sets at 16:34 (4pm) . Right. Thats still not dark enough to see Christmas light’s, but your nautical twilight ends at 17:39. You might be able to capture a sparkling of lights for yourself to see and enjoy. Understand about the curfew. It will definitely get better. We are not on curfew here in Berlin Germany and we take short drives and walks to enjoy the Christmas lights. It brings us much joy and delight.
Clip one of the chickens wings, just trim off wing feathers half way up they then can’t get lift to over fence but if need be can escape predators, it doesn’t hurt them and feathers come back when they moly. Thank you for your channel 💕 Mandy
Only Carlos can look at soap and make a connection to food... he's a gem 🥰 The soap looked lovely and took on a marble effect... they will make great little gifts but maybe not in time for Christmas. There's lots of silicone moulds that you can use too, not necessarily the patterned one but you can use bread moulds etc..they will stop the soap mixture sticking... Lovely to see all the decorations and Elizabeth and Skye or their contribution with Christmas decorations... thanks for sharing.. great vlog a s always xx
How quiet Positano was - in a normal day at this time of year would there be a lot of people there? It's really lovely how the shops are doing lovely window displays and hopefully you will be able to see them all lit up. I didn't realise just how much is involved in the soap making and it looked so pretty.

As you post this on a Sunday morning, we in NZ are settling in on a Sunday evening. A friend and I spent some time at one of the many Christmas markets in our area. Thankfully it was held at a park called Gardens of the World which has many trees and shady areas, as the day was very warm. Several stalls were selling soaps and skin potions. Hi Nicki it was so nice to see you making soap, everything you show in your blogs like making wine, making olive oil, canning tomatoes, growing vegetables and fruit bring me back to my childhood in Italy, it is so nice to see these old traditions, I remember my grandmother and my mother making soap, back then we used the soap for everything, personal use, doing laundry, I'm going back to the 50's post war. Great memories, thanks. Happy holidays to you and Carlo.🎄⛄🎅
Lovely walk. My favorite is the beach. I love the water in any weather Even stormy as long as it's not bad stormy. That was definitely a good size lemon. What are they used for? Your soap is very pretty. I would love to see one that's blue and green. Not the darkest shade of each nor the lightest shade of each. Somewhere in the middle would be really pretty. Love Skye's Christmas tree shopping. What a lovely gesture to give your tree a name! I'm certain it appreciated it. Thank you all for making this video possible for our enjoyment. Love to all from Texas.
I haven't watched all your videos and so you probably know this already, but you can trim the flight feathers back on one wing of each chicken-that won't hurt them whatsoever, but it'll keep them from flying over fences! You only want to do one wing, it throws off the flight balance so they can't get lift-off. When the feathers grow out you can trim them again.
Fantastic fun You are beautiful and I think the lemon is just happy being itself 😊💗 Beautiful gentle coloured soap ❤️ 🍋🍋🎄🎄🎄 Buon Natale 🎅☃️🎄🎄🎄 Beautiful tree Skye

I agree with Carlo, it does look like dessert :-) yum! I love your channel Nicki. Every time I watch your channel I feel I've been transported to Positano.
Your videos are not tough to watch Nicky, they are absolutely fascinating! You live in a glorious place with a very beautiful family and the creativity that you and Carlo share is a joy to see. And, the best bit is that you walk those steps and not me!!!!!!!! Stay well, lovely lady xxx

Love watching how to make soap
Great job on the soap! Curing is the hardest part. Having to wait is agonizing. Love the Christmas decorations. You may be in lockdown but they can't keep the spirit of Christmas under wraps! ❤💚❤
Not bad for my first time in 8 years!
Bravissima!! Thank you for this, the soap looks fantastic! It was totally fascinating to see what ingredients go in there & how it’s done. This whole video was a delight - how lovely to see the Christmas decorations and in beautiful sunshine too. I loved those spectacular lemons!❤️
Thank you so much!
