Same story here, just going through my childhood sports cards. Ran into my impel marvel cards. 4 cosmic Spiderman's, Thanos, 3 apocalypse and a bunch of others.
Right now if anybody has the funds you should definitely buy X-Men 1 before the new Marvel movie is made. I got lucky I got my copy for only $300 and since it’s 7.0 it’s worth a lot of money $23,000 plus. I also have a tales of suspense 39 8.5 I paid $5300 about 10 years ago at the Jacob Javits comic con that is now $35,000 plus comic book. I have some other great books that’s why I don’t work I just go to Yankee games I am a ticket holder😃😃😃
That's my plan, I'll do reveal vids when ever these cards start coming back. Those masterpieces cards are so touchy. There seems to be something wrong with almost every card.
I got one, made by gem mint not too long ago. It's definitely helped on some cards, mostly ones that I know are off, and I'm ok with a lower grade. Use it to try to figure out just how much its actually off.
When I was a kid I actually had collected the whole set. I still have them from 1990-1992 I believe. Something I plan on posting them on YT but unsure when.
Well I gave up bartending because I bought comic books that’s like the old bitcoin. That’s where the real money is. I have two copies of amazing fantasy 15 . 6.0 and the other is restored 8.0. I do have an X-Men 1 I bought that for only $300 a little more than 10 years ago it’s a 7.0. You can easily get $23,000 plus for that book right now. I have other good comic books like superman 1 5.0 restored with no trimming I bought that for $12,500.20 years ago. I have other good books also the only baseball cards I have capped I have 10 1993SP Jeter. One of them is PSA 8.5. They went through the roof in the last month. I have 4 psa 8 they were $500 right after Christmas I got those for $40 apiece they are now $2000 plus each. The 8.5 Jeter I bought that for $1600 in April it went down to 1200 now you cannot touch it for under $7000.🙀🙀🙀
When u send in a submission form what do u value the cards at card I’m having some trouble on that, I have a 1993 marvel masterpiece Ironman, 3 Thor, 2 Spider-Man, 2 Spider-Man 2099, hulk 2099, 3 spider woman, 2magneto, 1 1992 magneto impel series 1, 3 dr doom 2099, I can go on and on....hit me back so I understand this process better
I don't personally send cards in for grading. I use one the PSA reps that they have listed on thier website. I use a gentleman named Wyatt Tracy, he's in North Dakota (picked him because he's closest to where I live). He's wicked, answers all my questions, and does 99% of the submission work. He just asks for the cards to be sent to him in a specific manner, then does all the submitting in giant bulk orders. There's lots of guys to chose from on the PSA website. They also get deals from PSA so it ends up being a bit cheaper. As for personally filling out submission forms, I'm sorry, I don't have any experience in that.
@@thecardclosetcanada5443 I’m here in Northern California, I hope I could find someone here or I was hoping to take my cards down to psa but filling the form is hard, I don’t know what to put for the cards prices since some of the cards are at 500 and up for gem 10s, I feel like I have them but 50-75bucks a card is crazy
The cards you're grading won't sell for alot if the graded cards on ebay don't sell for alot. If you know what I mean. I'm a pokemon guy but I love my marvel/DC cards more. I hope the prices go to the same as pokemon. You need to buy psa cards too, don't just grade everything or your cards won't sell for alot. You need to buy psa cards while you have your cards out to be graded. I have not seen alot of 9 or less psa cards sell.
@@tulpfiction8920 that depends on the service level you looking for. 50$ for regular service, your waiting a few months still, or 75$ for express, about 1-1½ months. Pretty much depends on how fast you want them back.
I know the masterpieces have crazy low population counts, almost the entire set is in the single digits for PSA 10's. The 1990 series 1 is a bit higher. But still very very low. It's all about getting them graded.

I have thousands of these cards. Literally.
GL hitting a pile of 10's. I found an unopened box of these in my closet. Did a bit of a happy dance lol
Sealed boxes are going for a crazy amount right now

Me and my brother have a set each when these came out
Nice collection. Bro.
I used to have many of these cool cards
Make a follow up video on the master piece submission looking to send some of mine in for grading

@@thecardclosetcanada5443 What do you think you can earn if they come back as PSA 10s and 9s?
I happened by your video and I have 5 complete sets of the marvel masterpieces and wanted to know the top 5 most expensive ones. Thanks.
Get one of those centering tools on eBay they are well worth it

I used to own a bunch of these cards. I had a hologram too. They’re gone to the ether now lol

I have the whole set since I was a kid been in binder for years am I sitting on gold???? Probably not but boy can dream right?
Agent Coulson wanna know your location.

Well if everybody was buying comic books nobody would ever go to work that is our new bitcoin🙄🙄🙄
What can you explain
Centering looks a bit thinner on top and left sides than on right and bottom...
Beautiful cards! What PSA submission service are you using? I like to see what they come back as.
Are you going to make a return video??
Lol. Whenever they come back......late summer, fall maybe? PSA has a crazy huge backlog going on.
hi dad
I had doubles and triples of every one of those cards. It kind of annoys me that they're becoming valuable.

What does it cost to grade a card? I was entering some on psa $50 each ? Was that right?

The fact there are idiots who are willing to pay good money for the definition of junk wax is amazing
I'm sure there are people who would consider what you collect as trash. Goes both ways.
Everything is relative.
Not worth getting these highly abundant base cards graded. Stick to the inserts and rarities
It is if you believe they could get psa 10. Even base cards sell for alot of money, at least for now.
