My advise if you have this problem is to hold tight, don't ruin them by forcing them apart. At some point a solution will come along.

I'd say freezing helps a bit, it's not a total fix, but the cards did seem to seperate with less damage.

The Griffey card is a crime.

Have you tried the freezer for unbricking? Not a big hit on the insert but still a nice pack with the AI!

The O-Pee-Chee Griffey got a “6” because PSA grading consistency is ridiculous, and that company better get their sh#@ together. I hope more collectors start using SGC, or maybe CGS instead of this absurd PSA grading. It’s up to us in the collecting world to force PSA to hire, or fire these suspect graders.

Put side by side the 6 griffey is yellowed. Could have been sitting in a display maybe to where the light exposure yellowed it

Maybe it's just me, but the 6 griffey looked a little more yellow than the 9. Not sure how that affects it.

I have had success putting bricked cards in the freezer for an hour. It has saved some of them. Nice pack!

Creasing the package

Imo, it wouldn’t be too much to ask that they include a simple report per card. I realize they are slammed and backed up but, they’re already inspecting this stuff, it would barely add 10 seconds to have a checklist they can check off for reasons for the grading. Cuz why would a card that looks essentially perfect in every inspectable way NOT be a 10? There needs to be a reason for the 9 and it should be reported to the submitter. Also, how hilarious would it be to crack them and send em back in again just to expose that their grading is wonky!

You overgrade and set your expectations too high…kind of annoying to listen to you cry about it as I am looking at the off centering or a small dinged corner…

Global Shipping Program has a new name, I forget right now, but it's a total racket. Convenient for sellers (lazy ones) who don't even know what the buyer is being charged for shipping. The seller sends orders to a hub in Kentucky where eBay attempts to re-pack your order into smaller packaging if they think it will save them money to ship it a 2nd time and buyers are finding their orders damaged in the process.Or missing. Tracking stops at the Canadian border And the buyer ends up paying twice the amount to ship. It looks like most of these international sellers with the $10-25 shipping rates for a single card have no idea why their listings aren't selling. And, yeah, I've found sellers in the UK and France charging $2-3 and it arrives on the West Coast in 4 days.

I mean you have to understand. There is a dude that is a card grader probably is a weirdo on his kitchen table grading peoples cards based on his mood or attitude.

I think PSA was very hard on your cards

I have found some great Facebook groups for Soccer cards. Buying from UK, Sweden, Italy, Germany and France frequently. Some of the sellers allow me to purchase at different times and they hold until shipping is cost effective.
