I am deeply grateful to James Bay for creating a marvelous song to heal my broken heart. I lost my parents to cancer 8 years ago. I became profoundly depressed. It is music like his that I can count onto dull my aching eternal soul. I will never be the same. With music I can absorb the hope that is offered to me.

😭😭😭, every words hits so hard, been listening to this 3days now. I never imagine ill be in this situation, it so difficult i dont know where to start? I dont know what to do? She's been my life, i made her my world for almost 3 years. It hurts so much when you love her that much but love isnt enough anymore. Where did i go wrong? 😭.
I guess it's better to talk at the beginning about what you both want and expect. No need to idealize the person, we're all not perfect. If you love and fit each other, that's great. Yes, sometimes only love is not enough. You gotta have similar views , goals and dreams. Something that will unite you, in addition to love.

I found this song after reading the story of Erik Kramer (former NFL player) who attempted to take his life years ago after his son overdosed on drugs and his mother died of cancer within months apart. Erik said in the article that this song gives him strength. I hope it gives hope and strength to others who may be hurting or going through something.

No one knows what depression is like until they’ve been there for real or theyve been there for someone who has been, it’s not something that can be solved with words or changed in a day it takes weeks, months at times to just be there with someone who has it, and when you love them with all of your heart you have to stay strong an just support them no matter how hard it feels
