The Irish have this charming way of expressing themselves, I discovered recently. When they are tempted to swear or say something profane or vulgar, instead of a swear word, they say ‘fook’. So charming! We heard quite lot of ‘fook this’ and ‘fookin’ that' on our Ireland visit.
