Technically the push pull split is a split where you train the push bodyparts on one day and the pull bodyparts another day. Day 1 : Chest/Shoulders/Triceps Day 2: Back/ Biceps Day 3: Legs. The split described in the video would be A Torso/ Arms/Legs split.

I actually just started this.....after hearing about it all my life since training..., and I must say I really like it. I've been doing now consistently for around 3 + months or so? ...... kinda like how he said,...u can get a lot of work in with this routine, that seems to be the main benefit that I can see... I'm currently lifting at a frequency that I've never trained at because of this split. I've joked (even though its true) a lil about how im training at Ronnie Colemans frequency now....with this new methodology. I'm probably hitting every muscle atleast 1 and half times a week, with it, Coleman being everything twice in one week...., however I don't consider myself a bodybuilder really. I switched from the Westside bar bell method, to this....due to boredom. I'm into bodybuilding, but I hate the idea of neglecting strength and power, so I guess I'm a power builder? As they say.
Anyways it's good, I really like it....., it really allows u to train with a super high frequency, that I've never done before, ....cause like him , I've broken my days into 3 different days.....2 being 90% of my entire body, the 3rd day I just hit calves and abs usually split into two different days, which equals either 3-4 days of training however u wanna look at it.

Training six days a week and twice a day is doable if you're on anabolics. Otherwise your muscles and endocrine system get fatigued. It'll be counterproductive. It's a good way to get rabdo.

Whenever these training sets of pro bodybuilders are mentioned, it needs to be noted that these sets are done while on steroids, and the body recovers much faster in such conditions. Most people learning new techinques do not use steroids, and try to replicate these sets without realizing that their body would not keep up with such intensity.
