Well it kind of makes sense in a way. If you studied into the Chernobyl disaster. The radiation actually interfered with the robots they were using and in a similar fashion, could also have the same effects on the motor or even battery in the vehicle itself.

Yes, you can... I live in Europe and this "trip" to Pripyat and Chernobyl is normal. I think that price is too very good, if you lives close to Ukraine.
Trip costs $330/£260/€280- 1person for 2days. The radiation level in Pripyat is slightly higher than in the rest of the territory of Chernobyl exclusion zone, however the dose of radiation received in 2 days spend in Pripyat won’t exceed 6 microsieverts - which equals to 6 hours of intercontinental flight. Chance to get cancer? - 0.00001% (y).

This movie was TERRIFYING in theaters. It was amazing. Once that "prank" with the fish happened, and the insane scare with "the bear", happened... The suspense and tenseness didn't let up for a second. One of few recent horrors to be actually pretty solid without much "hopefulness". I hate happy endings in most horror films.

A trailer can be interesting without ruining the experience, so it kinda sucks when the easiest pull (showing every high point in the movie) is utilized. Even worse, it cheapens the movie because you've likely seen the height of the stakes, maybe even gathered enough to know who -- if anyone -- died, and you probably know what you don't need to worry about whether or not the movie tries to set up a twist or fakeout.

First, we see that standing pose 2 boys and 2 girls and 1 boy crouched in front of them and we are seeing more and 1 girl. 1:04 But when the driver took the photo (if you pay attention to the sound comes even photographs ) on the photo that appears (after a period of approximately 1 second) , we see that everyone is standing and posing lights. 1:05 That was the one ridiculous scene of the trailer . But if we look in general ( I watched the movie by the way) was a very high quality film . But what happened to the girl that he missed the zombie actually would love to see them come together.

Some parts of it were all right it was pretty scary at times, but the special forces dude not being prepared for the inevitable time he gets stuck in the zone at night (literally only brought a handgun should've had like an AK and chestrig). And just the overall clichés make it kind of a mid movie. The ending also sucked, but at least it did capture the futility and hopelessness the movie tried to portray. Literally everything that could go wrong went wrong, waow such writing. It was still entertaining to watch but from the moment Special forces dude got mauled by a pack of rabid dogs cause all he brought was one pistol, made me lose hope for the rest of the movie lol.

ALL THE THINGS WRONG WITH THE CHERNOYBL DIARIES : The scene where the Russian guy is talking on his walkie talkie to get help, but later in the movie he admits he works alone yet he was using his walkie talkie ? Also, when they go to get the batteries they have two walkie talkies ,one which was in the car ... 2. When they come back and find the phone, in this video it shows the monsters running away with the two people in the car and shows the road , but if they were running away how did the phone make it's way back to the car?Maybe these are the reasons why it's rated 1 and a half stars .

The abandoned town of Pripyat (if that's how you spell it) is actually really haunted. It's probably one of the most haunted places in Ukraine. Thus meaning the stuff in this movie could actually be real... think about it. Hundreds of people died from the radiation.. so really, there's many lost souls or ghosts there if you think about it.

Aside from a few technical errors re: battery dying yet power for lights worked in van, I think the movie was VERY WELL done and deserved a much higher rating as seen on TWC and Rotten Tomatoes - etc. I give it a 4-1/2 stars out of 5!!!! The suspense and mood was well created and put you right there! :) Yuri was a very good actor that helped set the mood. Recommended watching.

honestly one of the better horror movies out there. minus the ending thats lame, it could have been much better. the sheer scenery in this film is naturally frightning and beautiful at the same time. sitting in their broken van at night not being able to look outside made you feel really hopeless for them. near the ending when they were being chased and they went further and further down into these dark unknown hallways while they just witnessed their friends deaths, you could feel their sheer hopelessness and claustrophobia. the acting of being completely hopeless was on point aswell, thats not an easy thing to pull off. people who complain about this film are probably the same people who enjoy the more mainstream horror films made to please the simple minds.
