When you think about it 1944 is as far from 2022 as 2022 is from 2100. That's WW2 era. Was quite a bit of technology advancements since. I think it'll advance even faster the next 78 years since we are more connected now. If the matrix like VR becomes a reality we will no longer need school. You want your child to learn to read put them in the learning VR world and they'll learn how to read in a single day. Can also see people settling their beef in vr world instead of real life. As long as you can't die in the real world playing VR that'll solve alot of problems.
School classes in VR with Ai teachers and some students? There isn't much on this now, but it could replace modern education. One level up from that is direct uploads. There's a choice available there for future students.
What if we get a VR like Sword Art Online? Where if you die in the VR world you die IRL??
Right now we dont need school but school is still around cause it's a.system.of control and some people are used to it

lmao so many movies and shows about all this stuff. Reminds me of the episode called the thaw on star trek voyager. Where 2 crew members were put into cryosleep and their minds are interconnected with a central computer system that allow them to experience life. But without realizing it the computer conjured up their worst fears and incorporated it into one of the virtual characters which was a clown. and he tortured them and threatened to kill them by heart attack if the captain didnt follow his commands.

As we all know these innovations never made it for real but did however make this particular movie about the future at the time all the more appealing! However with all that said, these concepts and predictions are well within our reach of pending technological grasp!

What makes me think is that when we look at how people in the 1900s predicted the 2000s to be like, although they got a few things roughly accurate, they never predicted mobile phones, computers, the evolution of cars, the digital era, and many more. This made me wonder what 2100 will be like, because just how I said earlier, there will be many technologies in 2100 that us people wouldn't even be able to imagine at our time. Although we are pretty sure all vehicles will the electric and fully autonomous, there is a whole generation of technology that would be too advanced for us to understand. I just wonder what the world and technology in 2100 will be like, and I wish to see it one day. I'll be 93 in 2100, so unless I die in an accident, get a disease, or get murdered, I'll probably live to see 2100. Hopefully the future won't suck!

When both of those technologies converge in the 2030s-2040s I think any perceived energy issues will solved by the 2070s (certainly by 2100.) The rearrangement of atomic structure will provide endless sources of everything needed to do anything we (or AI) would like.
In addition, I believe black holes are already transversing universes as they suck in matter from this universe and pour out matter into a neighboring universe in the form of stars. So in my theory the other side of a blackhole is a Sun in “another” universe.

It's going to be the final year of the 21st century. It's a tiny bit more than 75 years away from now. I am to turn 108 that year. I am sure that I will live to see this with advances in medicine, science and technology continuing so much. Let's no longer have poverty or hunger by this time. May we easily space travel at this point. Let's program robots well to do a lot of benefit to us. And with overcrowded cities arcologies seem like a solution. Let's see plants and animals that have gone extinct be back in existence so much at the end of this century. And end so many diseases. Fingers crossed for a wonderful future.
