GA+ is basically an extreme bathroom upgrade because lines this year were so fast! Getting in the festival took no longer than 10 min all 3 days, It was crazy.
I always correlated the VIP section in festivals are generally for older fest goers that just wanna chill and listen to the music. It does sound like its a nice option for older edc goers that don’t like to be in the crowded areas. It also sounds like a fun option for edc veterans that go every year traditionally, but are kinda over the walking and exploring and just wanna settle down and chill

Yes!! Been GA for four years in a row...this is the first year i'm doing VIP...EDC 2019 was the final confirmation for me...this year was crazy packed and I couldn't even enjoy Skrillex or other sets. I still go hard but dammm let me enjoy a set without having to go hard all night lol

I've never liked VIP, main reason you go to festivals is to be up front and get close to all the djs and producers, and be in the crowd, i also get a weird vibe in vip, because most people in there are "rich" and Dont like crowds which is why they are in there... Not much dancing in there, the only positive is the exclusive food area better bartender and sometimes free water bottles and a kandi station but is that really worth a whole ticket extra in price? I don't think so, id rather bring another friend than to upgrade to vip.
I agree. I've been to EDC twice in GA and still haven't experienced everything. I don't need all these extra games, shops, and gimmicks when I'll maybe use 5% of it. Saving that money and bringing another friend is definitely what I would rather do, even though I can afford VIP.

Hell yeah VIP is worth it! As much as I love being in the crowd, the best thing about VIP is that when you end up at a set that's guaranteed to be packed to the rafters, you can relish in the fact that there's an area at EVERY stage you can have a bit more room. They implemented VIP areas in all the stages now excluding Stereo Bloom so this year was a massive upgrade.
Guys it really depends on what time you get there. Get there after 9 then yeah you’ll wait a bit in lines to enter. Get there at 7 on the dot and you’ll wait like 20 mins max.

Do you feel disconnected from the rest of the campers in any way being in an RV? I've experienced that at other festivals and have given up the RV experience to feel more "in the action" and the sense of community. But 2020 will be my first EDC so I'm not sure if that's a thing there.
This year was my husband and I first time at edc, and next year my hubby already got our tickets VIP. Mostly because the restroom and the crowds get annoying at times. Still had a blast!
Super informative! :) I had a good experience with the ga this year. I’ve only ever done GA at edc but it sounds like VIP has some cool perks. Luckily this year I didn’t have any issues with the porta potty’s. I always went to the very very back because those are usually the cleaner ones :) I also didn’t have issues with lines at all I got in super quick to the festival! One day I’ll upgrade to VIP though, because you can’t beat a real restroom lol 😂.
GA+ Only got me in 90 seconds faster than my friends. 😐 Security was tight enough to throw away my small sealed bag of Mike and Ikes. 🙄 Basically paying for the brightly lit toilets but you'll still wait. I recommend going to the very back of regular GA toilets, because everyone is lit as fucki so they all wait at the first 20 ports while the back ones are cleaner and fully stocked with T.P., soap, and water. Bring baby wipes in a ziploc, and some hand sanitizer and you're all set. Either do GA or ViP.
I did the GA Plus and it was worth every cent. I had dedicated shuttle lines which got me through the security line FAST. Having GA+ bathrooms was also super nice. Never more than one person before me and always clean. I agree with our host that VIP has some nice perks at EDCLV, the contrast to other insomniac festivals like Beyond is not as great. I did an upgrade and it was ok but not like Beyond Wonderland where the interactive players were everywhere and always willing to take photos or do something fun. I do enjoy the VIP stage areas even though they are on the sides. I don’t think it’s for “rich people”. I’ve been raving longer than most and have reached a point in my career to enjoy some perks. I love being deep in the center and feel the energy but it’s nice to have a less crowded space when I want a break but don’t wanna leave the area. Options are good and that is what VIP is about. EDCLV next year? Probably GA Plus again. It offered just the right amount of extras. For Beyond Wonderland? VIP all the way.
Krystal Ramirez the desert rose camping is very comfortable. I feel more rested and less sore than any of the other 6 EDCs I’ve been to when I stayed in a hotel. Thats the truth

This was my first year and I bought the VIP. As a first timer I loved everything about VIP. Yeah the viewing areas could have been a bit more "exclusive" to make you feel like a real VIP, but I was completely fine with it.
For me VIP areas look like huge teases. It's like you're right there but not really apart of the part with everyone else. Idk I'm on the same page as CK, I would rather be in the shit haha :) Glad you had fun!!!

VIP is worth it in my opinion. GA gets extremely crowded and everyone pushes you. There is constant trains trying to cut across from you. I was able to dance freely in VIP, no one ever pushes and I could actually breathe. The dancing areas were great like at Cosmic and Circuit. I was able to come out on the live stream during 4B because I was able to get to the rail in VIP. I loved that the bars had no wait, I was able to skip the line for some rides like the roller coaster, the swings, the cliff hanger, and I saw a couple more as well. It was nice to be able to move around during the really packed sets and having somewhere to sit and still be able to see the stage and enjoy it was a plus especially for those who get tired fast. I don’t use the bathroom a lot but they were clean when I did go and again almost no line for it and when I used the porta potties they were actually really clean. VIP is definitely worth it if You go with all of your friends and everyone does VIP and also if you don’t go alone. If you’re planning on going solo to the event VIP wouldn’t really be worth it cause you’ll feel awkward
I didn't go this year but last year we did VIP and we were able to skip the lines for rides. We would just go to the exit of the ride to get in before GA. If you're in to the rides then that's a great Pro as well for VIP.
Had an artist band so could get behind the DJ booth etc but honestly, I find I always have a much better time in the middle of the crowd at the centre where it's a better atmosphere, more dancing and best sound!
VIP is worth it in my opinion! I only go vip to festivals after always going GA. It’s just a better experience and you can choose if you want to be in the crowd or on the rail or chilling in VIP. My opinion is you get to choose the experience you want and you’re not just stuck with GA and that’s it! You get to experience all levels. Totally should do it! I already got my 2021 EDC Las Vegas vip ticket. In 5 months $900 doesn’t matter and you already made it back X20! Then when you go you have the easier more laid back experience.
I definitely think it's worth it. Of course everyone will feel differently about it. I don't mind the VIP section being off to the side. I was still getting good spots. I will do VIP as long as I can.
We went VIP and we thought it was great! The best things in our opinion were expedited entry, VIP water refill station, and the bathrooms.... the bathrooms!! I definitely think that the viewing section at Basspod could have been a little better. I mostly like being in the crowd especially at EDC, so I ended up spending most of my time in the general areas. But the amenities make it worth it for sure!
I had regular ga but those porta potties were no joke, by the end of the night I wanted to literally vomit 🤢 there was no way I was going in those things and I brought bathroom wipes and wet ones. I just couldn’t sit myself down and get comfortable, like for some reason even while hovering on the seat, I could not physically make myself go. They are literally a biohazard I swear, bringing stuff in from all over the entire world from different countries and everything, no way I’m doing that again. I’m getting ga+ next year literally only for the bathrooms. F that, I will gladly pay the extra money to not get a disease 😭
I bought ga+ plus and didt even notice lmao. All I got was the bathrooms but I dont really go all that much and I'm a guy so even when I had to use the porta potties at the exit it wasn't a big deal.
My first EDC was this one. I went as VIP. The bathrooms alone were worth it. But the VIP section at kinetic Field was always a plus. Being able to just sit and rest in between artists was nice. If you do the monthly payments then I say go for it. Paying when it's close to the festival is more when I would consider GA+
I had GA+ this past year, which I didn't even realized I bought until I got the wristband in the mail. I would buy GA+ again, but I do plan on doing the Desert Rose camping, so thank you for that information! Also, Carnival Square was my spot to chill if I wanted to! They actually had free wi-fi there and was showing the livestream of EDC. I'm saving up for camping. I didn't plan it so well this year so I just stayed on the strip.

Pfft, GA is the way to go for me and I don't regret it. That or you are very very close to a producer artist that you literally can stand behind them as they are killing their set.

I love that you mentioned that it wasn't worth it with camping. I planned on camping for my first EDC AND getting VIP but i think GA+ with Desert Rose camping is the optimal experience
Just Wow. I remember the Golden yrs 98-2008. $100 VIP at the door, free drinks all night, and a buffet. Parking at the Coliseum sucked though. Scary walk at 2am. Stay safe new generation!

I just pray they don’t make the vip section more by the rail or taking up the center. So yea it any the side but... you’d be taking away from a crazy experience if you have to pay 300$ events
Thanks that was great. Camped 2018 Desert Rose/VIP. To me it was worth it. For the extra days spent on the grounds. Plus all of the camping area activities. I live 12 miles from the Las Vegas Speedway. Not having to leave each morning alone is worth it to myself..... Camping @ Electric Forest is another great party.

GA+ this year was the biggest joke lol. None of the workers gave a crap or were checking. Definitely think I would upgrade to vip for a day though thanks for that info!
2020 will be my 4th EDC and 3rd in a row. Never had issues with bathrooms and long waits to enter. To me, it's about the music. EDC is more than 3 stages and it's this music that the VIP people miss out on. Gotta get out there and experience it. No 2 EDCs have been exactly the same.
Basically if you’re not camping and you’re only worried about expedited entrance and restroom updraft then GA+ is way worth it than VIP is. Save yourself the extra money and just do GA+ is you’re not camping and want clean restrooms and faster entrance. I never mind the food and bar lines anyway a lot of times you can still get food in good timing plus there’s still a free WiFi area for GA ticket holders. Save your money guys. VIP isn’t worth it.

So Beyond Wonderland was the first festival I’ve done VIP. We ended up purchasing bad tickets from someone and when we got there they only had VIP. It was legit! It was off to the side for the stages but that was okay cause you were like right up close! However for EDC I’m camping so no vip. Thank you for this!!
Those gif sending booths are really hit or miss. I've used one in a variety of festivals and other places and I probably only get the pic 1/2 the time. It sucks because often time we forwent taking any other photos because we wanted the higher res booth one.
I do desert rose that is like VIP camping and GA ticket. I got a great time. 5 minutes walk to the festival with the opportunity to re-entry anytime you want. Massage, salon, yoga class and more is on the camping area. So I think is up to you if you want the VIP but GA and camping are worth it too. And you get a update from GA to GA+ if you have a desert rose camp.
do you know anyone that's done desert rose + VIP? I mean the camping area has everything except the main acts, so if you want to stay in the festival and have full reign it seems like VIP is the option. Nothing worse than meeting someone cool and they go prance off to VIP. Maybe thats not an issue girls have though ha.

To me VIP doesn’t seem worth it from GA. I feel like you won’t get the opportunity to meet and connect with other real ravers in VIP. Most people are there for the music. F everything else. I would rather spend the extra money on camping and get GA+ for free. My only issue is that I’m probably going solo next year. So I think camping would be a struggle for me. :( like how would I even get from the hotel to the race track on the first day? How would I carry all that extra food, snacks and so on.
Lol reasons why I dont get VIP cause it's a waste of money , I rather be in the center of the stage & I could even get closer to the stage & see my favorite DJ & also portable bathrooms is not bad the lines are long but ehh I don't mind I just dont eat alot so I dont be using the bathroom I can last all day & also it's all about getting connected with the people & get lit with the edm fam , & also fuck wifi your there to live the moment not to be stuck on your phone hahah & I'm patient with the entrance line just get there on time so you dont miss your favorite dj
I just want to say I enjoyed your video and everything you said was right on point this was my first year going and I did the whole VIP experience and let me tell you it was worth every penny pretty much you just pay for convenience no lines for food drinks etc my personal favorite VIP area what's the Kinect field the taco truck the pool the hookah lounge and the mermaids swimming in the pool LOL.. other than the weather being a huge Factor on Saturday it was windy as fuck it was a great experience I can't wait to do it again next year and I'm looking forward to it will ico VIP again next year probably not I'll bring in my own alcohol in my own tamales that's for sure LOL
I was GA this year and the lines for bathrooms and getting in were pretty short it didnt take more than 20 min to get into the actual festival. After they started camping the lines have been a lot more bearable for getting in and parking but VIP def looks cool.
Oh yea i have to buy a sweater too at iheartraves store in luxor. It was windy and cold af. Only available sizes tho were 3xl and 4xl cus everyone was getting them.
You forgot the fastpass to the rides...I walked right onto the swings twice. Then the VIP ferris wheel wasn't an extremely short ride either. Not saying VIP is worth it for rides alone, but it definitely added to the experience and allowed me more time to check out more randomness.

What lines are you talking about? The only line I stood in all weekend was for the water station. Ga bathrooms you just need to walk to the back and guarantee you will find one open or wait for 1 person to get done. I took the shuttles and all 3 days just walked right in.

VIP is definitely worth it if You go with all of your friends and everyone does VIP and also if you don’t go alone. If you’re planning on going solo to the event VIP wouldn’t really be worth it cause you’ll feel awkward

I didn't go this year but last year we did VIP and we were able to skip the lines for rides. We would just go to the exit of the ride to get in before GA. If you're in to the rides then that's a great Pro as well for VIP.

Had an artist band so could get behind the DJ booth etc but honestly, I find I always have a much better time in the middle of the crowd at the centre where it's a better atmosphere, more dancing and best sound!

VIP is worth it in my opinion! I only go vip to festivals after always going GA. It’s just a better experience and you can choose if you want to be in the crowd or on the rail or chilling in VIP. My opinion is you get to choose the experience you want and you’re not just stuck with GA and that’s it! You get to experience all levels. Totally should do it! I already got my 2021 EDC Las Vegas vip ticket. In 5 months $900 doesn’t matter and you already made it back X20! Then when you go you have the easier more laid back experience.
I definitely think it's worth it. Of course everyone will feel differently about it. I don't mind the VIP section being off to the side. I was still getting good spots. I will do VIP as long as I can.
VIP is absolutely worth it. skipping the lines, clean porta johns and you cant beat the backstage one on one with your favorite headliners.

We went VIP and we thought it was great! The best things in our opinion were expedited entry, VIP water refill station, and the bathrooms.... the bathrooms!! I definitely think that the viewing section at Basspod could have been a little better. I mostly like being in the crowd especially at EDC, so I ended up spending most of my time in the general areas. But the amenities make it worth it for sure!

I had regular ga but those porta potties were no joke, by the end of the night I wanted to literally vomit 🤢 there was no way I was going in those things and I brought bathroom wipes and wet ones. I just couldn’t sit myself down and get comfortable, like for some reason even while hovering on the seat, I could not physically make myself go. They are literally a biohazard I swear, bringing stuff in from all over the entire world from different countries and everything, no way I’m doing that again. I’m getting ga+ next year literally only for the bathrooms. F that, I will gladly pay the extra money to not get a disease 😭
I bought ga+ plus and didt even notice lmao. All I got was the bathrooms but I dont really go all that much and I'm a guy so even when I had to use the porta potties at the exit it wasn't a big deal.
My first EDC was this one. I went as VIP. The bathrooms alone were worth it. But the VIP section at kinetic Field was always a plus. Being able to just sit and rest in between artists was nice. If you do the monthly payments then I say go for it. Paying when it's close to the festival is more when I would consider GA+
I had GA+ this past year, which I didn't even realized I bought until I got the wristband in the mail. I would buy GA+ again, but I do plan on doing the Desert Rose camping, so thank you for that information! Also, Carnival Square was my spot to chill if I wanted to! They actually had free wi-fi there and was showing the livestream of EDC.
I'm saving up for camping. I didn't plan it so well this year so I just stayed on the strip.

Pfft, GA is the way to go for me and I don't regret it. That or you are very very close to a producer artist that you literally can stand behind them as they are killing their set.

Just Wow. I remember the Golden yrs 98-2008. $100 VIP at the door, free drinks all night, and a buffet. Parking at the Coliseum sucked though. Scary walk at 2am. Stay safe new generation!

I just pray they don’t make the vip section more by the rail or taking up the center. So yea it any the side but... you’d be taking away from a crazy experience if you have to pay 300$ events

Thanks that was great. Camped 2018 Desert Rose/VIP. To me it was worth it. For the extra days spent on the grounds. Plus all of the camping area activities.
I live 12 miles from the Las Vegas Speedway. Not having to leave each morning alone is worth it to myself..... Camping @ Electric Forest is another great party.

GA+ this year was the biggest joke lol. None of the workers gave a crap or were checking. Definitely think I would upgrade to vip for a day though thanks for that info!

2020 will be my 4th EDC and 3rd in a row. Never had issues with bathrooms and long waits to enter. To me, it's about the music. EDC is more than 3 stages and it's this music that the VIP people miss out on. Gotta get out there and experience it. No 2 EDCs have been exactly the same.
Basically if you’re not camping and you’re only worried about expedited entrance and restroom updraft then GA+ is way worth it than VIP is. Save yourself the extra money and just do GA+ is you’re not camping and want clean restrooms and faster entrance. I never mind the food and bar lines anyway a lot of times you can still get food in good timing plus there’s still a free WiFi area for GA ticket holders. Save your money guys. VIP isn’t worth it.
if ur taking the shuttles (which you should) u only need the general admission. the premier shuttles are IMO worth it!

So Beyond Wonderland was the first festival I’ve done VIP. We ended up purchasing bad tickets from someone and when we got there they only had VIP. It was legit! It was off to the side for the stages but that was okay cause you were like right up close! However for EDC I’m camping so no vip. Thank you for this!!
how does camping work?
Those gif sending booths are really hit or miss. I've used one in a variety of festivals and other places and I probably only get the pic 1/2 the time. It sucks because often time we forwent taking any other photos because we wanted the higher res booth one.
I do desert rose that is like VIP camping and GA ticket. I got a great time. 5 minutes walk to the festival with the opportunity to re-entry anytime you want. Massage, salon, yoga class and more is on the camping area. So I think is up to you if you want the VIP but GA and camping are worth it too. And you get a update from GA to GA+ if you have a desert rose camp.

I mean the camping area has everything except the main acts, so if you want to stay in the festival and have full reign it seems like VIP is the option. Nothing worse than meeting someone cool and they go prance off to VIP. Maybe thats not an issue girls have though ha.
I was GA as I don’t believe in VIP cause I’m just trying to party lol but the lines were nonexistent for me! Literally waited maybe 10 min max but it’s cause a fight happened in front of me lol

To me VIP doesn’t seem worth it from GA. I feel like you won’t get the opportunity to meet and connect with other real ravers in VIP. Most people are there for the music. F everything else. I would rather spend the extra money on camping and get GA+ for free. My only issue is that I’m probably going solo next year. So I think camping would be a struggle for me. :( like how would I even get from the hotel to the race track on the first day? How would I carry all that extra food, snacks and so on.
Lol reasons why I dont get VIP cause it's a waste of money , I rather be in the center of the stage & I could even get closer to the stage & see my favorite DJ & also portable bathrooms is not bad the lines are long but ehh I don't mind I just dont eat alot so I dont be using the bathroom I can last all day & also it's all about getting connected with the people & get lit with the edm fam , & also fuck wifi your there to live the moment not to be stuck on your phone hahah & I'm patient with the entrance line just get there on time so you dont miss your favorite dj
I just want to say I enjoyed your video and everything you said was right on point this was my first year going and I did the whole VIP experience and let me tell you it was worth every penny pretty much you just pay for convenience no lines for food drinks etc my personal favorite VIP area what's the Kinect field the taco truck the pool the hookah lounge and the mermaids swimming in the pool LOL.. other than the weather being a huge Factor on Saturday it was windy as fuck it was a great experience I can't wait to do it again next year and I'm looking forward to it will ico VIP again next year probably not I'll bring in my own alcohol in my own tamales that's for sure LOL
I was GA this year and the lines for bathrooms and getting in were pretty short it didnt take more than 20 min to get into the actual festival. After they started camping the lines have been a lot more bearable for getting in and parking but VIP def looks cool.
Oh yea i have to buy a sweater too at iheartraves store in luxor. It was windy and cold af. Only available sizes tho were 3xl and 4xl cus everyone was getting them.

You forgot the fastpass to the rides...I walked right onto the swings twice. Then the VIP ferris wheel wasn't an extremely short ride either. Not saying VIP is worth it for rides alone, but it definitely added to the experience and allowed me more time to check out more randomness.

What lines are you talking about? The only line I stood in all weekend was for the water station. Ga bathrooms you just need to walk to the back and guarantee you will find one open or wait for 1 person to get done. I took the shuttles and all 3 days just walked right in.
