I find these old churches fascinating, the architecture, the stonework, hand carvings, stained glass etc etc and the interesting inscriptions on the graves, many tell a story from a time long forgotten! Thanks for sharing. 👍
Just loved that Ant. What a beautiful old church that is. Love to play the organ there. Always wanted to play a pipe organ. Thanks for share and please stay safe and take care
Thanks Ant really enjoyed that ... i have to admit i do love my churches and i am not religious in anyway i just find them amazing buildings ..so peaceful too and myself and lee have visited so many on our walks around lancashire..and even now that i spend more time on our new group art of lancashire i am still loving working on images of churches...anyway long winded rant there ... hope you do more mate... regards Frank & Lee ......
A nice continuation of the first tour of this church ground sometime ago. Another great tour into the past! Thanks Antony for the video. See you on the next! 🏴🙂👍🇺🇸
I think that's not St Giles' spire at 07:12, it looks very different to the other shots from the drone. I'd have loved to see a closer shot of the cockerel weather vane, I've seen it all my life from the ground and a shot of it at eye level would've been something to see. Cheers 👍🏼
If you run around the church 3 times at midnight, you will see the ghost of a man who fell of a ladder and died trying to steal the golden weather vane, so the legend goes.

Such craftsmanship in the stonework, nothing like a beautiful church to help bring one a bit closer to God. Thanks to Ant for another fine watch.

Wonderful video . Meriden, Kansas
Beautiful video. 👌
Very Churchy (If that is such a word!!!) 🤔🚂🚂🚂
Great video Ant, looks like the church got an extension to the nave in Victorian times as it looks pure Victorian Gothic to my untutored eye
No way you always come up with local video’s! Recently moved from Ilkeston to Stapleford and this is about a 15 minute walk away 😀
I keep trying to find stuff 👍👍
