You should absolutely react to Free As a Bird. The video is filled with easter eggs about other Beatles songs, like the pretty nurse selling poppies from a tray, she came in through the bathroom window, she's leaving home, and so many, many, more. Now And Then is a another video that will be a must watch. It is the last official Beatles song, released in 2023. In 1995 Paul said that in order to do this, they just imagined that John was off in a sound booth somewhere. They imagined that he was still there.
I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction video, Steph. Thank you. Around this time, they worked on 3 Lennon demo songs: Free As a Bird, Real Love, and Now and Then. The latter didn't make it into a record until 2023 because it was so much more difficult to isolate Lennon's voice from the original tape. In other words, of the three, Now and Then had the worst audio quality. In 2022, they had the chance to finally rework it and successfully lifted Lennon's voice using Peter Jackson's tech. The final version also has George's guitar part from their 95 sessions for this song. If you haven't yet, please react to Now and Then's official video. If you got emotional with Real Love, you'd probably bawl your eyes out on the Now and Then official video.
That's George on slide guitar and lead guitar. During these sessions the third song they tried and abandoned was last year's AI assisted Now and Then. in the 1990's they did not havethe technology to reduce the tape hiass AND pull up John;s vocal to be over the music, it was just a demo tape he did. Which is why you see the George from 1995 in scenes from the Now and Then Video, as well as Ringo and Paul in their mid 50's...people were so confused about that.
There is another great John Lennon demo which was never cleaned up called Grow Old Along With Me. Being a demo it's very simple but would make a perfect wedding song to walk down the aisle to.
Anthology was also a muti part tv show I watched every episode with my grandma. I was so excited for new Beatles songs. They did a count down and it was so exiting.'' Next week all new Beatles song'', ''Later tonight all new beatles'' and finally ''when we come back'' I was loving it
Bitter/Sweet for sure., Yes, you should absolutely react to "Free As A Bird" when you get the chance. It is the 2nd of 3 songs the remaining Beatles completed from the demos left by John Lennon. The 3rd song is "Now And Then", which was released in 2023 and purported to be the final song ever to be released by THE BEATLES! P.S. Happy New Year! ☮
This song is beautiful and feels very ‘90s as well, which is crazy!! If only, we could have had ‘90s Beatles! I always tear up watching this video, and I always lose it when Paul and George hug, especially knowing their history, it’s incredibly touching and beautiful ❤️ you should check out their final song, Now and then, as well, although I do prefer Real love, it has an Emmy nomination also, and it’s the perfect ending to this amazing band.
Bless your tears, dear Steph. What a lovely "new" Beatles song. This song is such a Pop ear-worm that is, yes, a bit sentimental and nostalgic but with the Beatles, it's all about Love and that's fine with me! You should check out the video for "Now and Then", if you haven't already. It was released in November of 2023 and is the final Beatles song to be released. It also went to Number 1 on the charts. Great song! By the way, a "oldie" Beatle song you should do is "All My Loving".
I loved your sweet reaction, Steph. "Free as a Bird" is also worth a listen -- the video is filled with cryptic visual references from the amazing Beatle catalog. Even more remarkable is 2023's "Now and Then." It's also built around John's 1979 tape, but it took more modern technology than was available in the 90s to separate his vocal from the piano he played while making the demo. It is truly the last Beatles song ever. I would imagine you'll tear up over it as well, as so many listeners did. ❤️
YES - Free As A Bird is also a fantastic video, but it would be useful TO YOU to learn about the Beatles' catalog from SGT PEPPERS, MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR. That way you'll value the video's included "wink wink" scenes.
Your tears matched millions. And this and FREE AS A BIRD were sources of anger: "We had 10 years between the Beatles' breakup and John's murder - we could have had MORE of this calibre of music!!" I still robbed, as if THEY owed ME the music of MY heart. Like George said, "Write yer own-!!" Yes.
I really like your reactions, if you liked this song wait to react to Now and them you will like it and be very excited, this song was written by John Lennon and after his death Yoko Ono gave it to Paul McArney.
Try once some Rutles songs. The Rutles were a comedy band of the 70s from Eric Idle's Rutland Weekend Television (post Monty Python) and the songs were composed by the great late Neil Innes of the Bonzo Dog Band. He really did not parodies but real homages of the Beatles songs. Try out Cheese and Onions, Shangri-La or With a Girl like You. The Rutles movie All You Need Is Cash was the real Beatles story retold and the Beatles loved it and even said it's closer to the truth than their Anthology many years later. George Harrison had a guest role in the movie as well as many other from Mick Jagger and Paul Simon to a very young Bill Murrey and co-Python Micheal Pailin. The main actor was of course Eric Idle. All Mockumentaries like Spinal Tab were followers of The Rutles. ...And I guess Mamonas Assassinas also got a little bit of influence by them (even though they were more like the Austrian band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung) :)
Oh man, you absolutely have to check out their 2024 release of "Now and Then", the music video. It's just insane what they accomplished and Peter jackson, the movie director of Lord of the Rings and others, took it on as a pet project and used this music AI he been working on for trying to separate out voices from instruments in really old tape recordings, and then he also supervise the video editing of rare and mostly unseen footage from along the Beatles journey. It ends up being so incredibly emotional. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are doing current nowadays live stuff to it, but then they splice in their rehearsal sessions from the 90s, and then they also mix in of course John Lennon's original cassette demo in his living room, with a kung fu movie playing in the background on the tv. But it ends up being this just amazing song.
You are absolutely the best the level at which you appreciate the music hints at the depth of your character and soul. I really enjoy watching you. Get into some of the older stuff. In my life an early very emotional John song. Got to get you into my life Paul perfection. I'm only sleeping A song only John could do.
If you haven’t reacted to Free as a Bird …. You should and then …. Now & Then the final ever Beatles song…. As these were intended to be released one by one for the Beatles Anthology Albums 1, 2, 3.
The very last ever Beatles song to be released is NOW AND THEN, and probably the most fitting tribute they could ever have done to John Lennon and George Harrison. You should check it out but do your research on the song first before you watch it, it will make you appreciate it even more.
I'm thrilled to see someone so young get so excited about the Beatles and have so much affection for them. Thank you.
It’s beautiful that practically all the music of the Beatles talks about love.
Any time those four guys got together to make music, the result was magic.
Is truly a beautiful song! One of my favorites by The Beatles!
The Beatles 4ever!❤❤
Real Love is actually one my favourite Beatles songs. ❤ the lyrics and melody are beautiful.

Me emociona verte emocionar como yo siempre lo he hecho, hasta las lágrimas BEATLES FOR EVER ♥️

I'm loving your Beatles reactions 🖤, please more! 😍👌
I love this song, one of my favorite Beatles songs.

"Real Love", "Free as a Bird" and the recent "Now and Then" are the last three Beatles tunes.
Love this song and also the accompanying video. Always gets me emotional. This was worth watching twice.
I like this one better than "Free as a Bird". "Now and Then", finished in 2023, with the video, is my favorite.
"Free as a Bird" is a killer.
John Lennon's piano demo on this and Free as a bird are really beautiful
The Beatles - help you get out of ego and feel your authentic emotions.

The Beatles forever 👍👍👍👍👍.

I would recommend you to do 'Free as a Bird' also - it's amazing

So glad you liked it . They did a very decent job with the original although I understand it was quite emotional. Poor lads.
THANK YOU FOR THIS REACTION ❤IT WAS GOOD ❤
Você precisa reagir a Now and Then, música que eles lançaram ano passado. Tem até um mini documentário explicando como a música foi feita
Across the universe next. ORRR In My Life but that might make you cry. Hits a little hard.

Great Beatles! Please react to David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream" live, 1973 (Live at Hammersmith Odeon, London)
"Savoy Truffle" | THE BEATLES
If you haven’t reacted to Free as a Bird …. You should and then …. Now & Then the final ever Beatles song…. As these were intended to be released one by one for the Beatles Anthology Albums 1, 2, 3.
방이 바뀌었네요 ^^ 영상 잘보고 갑니다
The band that changed music much like Bach did
❤❤
The very last ever Beatles song to be released is NOW AND THEN, and probably the most fitting tribute they could ever have done to John Lennon and George Harrison. You should check it out but do your research on the song first before you watch it, it will make you appreciate it even more.

Genial
The comedian actor Adam Sandler have cover of that song real love
Very good !!!!
The next one should be "Now and Then."
React to now and then
Will you please react to The Cult’s Fire Woman or She Sells Sanctuary?
react like I'm only sleeping or like a free as a bird please
Hola Beso y Abraso fuerte! Gracias
React to free as a bird, its more better ❤❤
React to Now and Then
The best version of this song is Lennon's stripped down piano version. It's far more touching than the one the other Beatles and Jeff Lynne produced.
Free as a bird is way better than this, which is hard to believe🤘❤️
This is a john lennon's song and the original version is better
Hello there
안녕~😊🎉
