Just discovered your channel. Love this breakdown and taking the time. First listen I was like Benny killed it then Cole came in…this is why the art form continues. These cats will not let it die. Cole’s verse honestly did sound like it was effortless and Benny brought his Benny energy. Salute to both of them, Cole took this round. Salute to you brothers. Just subscribed.
Thank you family!!! We appreciate the love and support. And thanks for subscribing. The art form is still alive and that’s why we salute the new and the classic.
I love the approach. You're reacting while breaking it down. The true hip-hop fan in you both shines through in that you can hear it again and still be excited about it. Perhaps some low-volume background beats would enhance the experience for the viewers. Loved this video. Subscribed!
This was also dropped on J Coles birthday, hence the reason why I come starts his verse about the night he was born with the imagery. And the “sparks was flying” line was a reference to Friday Night Lights one of his first projects
Ether is also a a pleasant-smelling colorless volatile liquid that is highly flammable. So they see an empty glass and he sees it full of this colorless, flammable liquid.
I’m a white dude who rapped a lot coming up and punchline/delivery was what I appreciated most about rap. Seeing these breakdowns is awesome because most listeners want a sound rather than a captivating delivery/punchline to make the song.
This was like Renegade 2.0 (by Em and HOV) two different styles done at a very high level just depends on what you prefer…Cole was other worldly tho!!!!!
No Cole wasn’t dissing Benny… I think he respects Benny and what he raps about so he was excluded from the bar but these new drill niggas and young boys/rest of the rap game is guilty!
Where can i cop one of them shirts thats pinned to the wall behind yall? Also this my first time watching one of your videos and i enjoyed everything about it. Def got a new subscriber.....Thanks🤝🏾😤🔥💪🏾
Make sure you follow them on social media! Probably way easier to get questions answered that way. This show is fire. Def opened my eyes to stuff I wouldn't have seen! They got 20 other eps! Enjoy bro 💯
I think low key cole was dissing benny but imo bar for bar his verse wasn't much better then Benny's he was just rapping about rapping they verses still were pretty equal to me punches didnt wow me that much but ima big black thought and royce fan so my ear a little different 😂
You have a valid point. The punches were hard but they were targeted and deliberate. We understand what Thought and Royce do so yes that analysis makes perfect sense.
Cole was rapper of the year for ‘21 in my mind and he came out the gate ready again this year. Thanks for the shout!
The silence in the room after Cole verse 😂😂😂
