The customer wanted a new leather messenger bag to replace an old worn-out bag. This Project used upcycled Levi’s denim, heavy duty strap with embroidery, chainstitch embroidery folk art inspired “Merica” custom patches, heavy duty pullup leather, solid metal hardware, super reinforced D ring attachments for swivel clasps, and tons of room for a laptop computer, books and anything else needed.
Tons of fun to make.
Tools used: Walking Foot Singer 111w153 Sewing Machine, Consew 104 Chainstitch Embroidery Sewing Machine, Rivet Setter, Leather Cutting Tools, and making a custom pattern.
Leather and Hardware came from my dear friends at Tandy Leather close to my home.
