The one benefit that using med crate has is that teammates can pick bandages up off your character, without needing to get their attention by spamming NEED MEDIC. The medic doesn't even have to pull out the med crate or place one down. It's the same with the ammo crate using support characters vs their ammo pouch brethren. But I 100% agree that using bandages is superior because you can yeet healing like an MLB pitcher on amphetamines in this game.
@@nilloc28 the medic bag in bf4 is better than the pouch because the pouch seems a little iffy on if they actually work, since they tend to bounce a lot when I throw them. Also they bounce when they hit my teammates, but it does heal them, but it confuses me a bit. In later games I found the pouch to be more reliable, though I still used the crate in bf1 because its cooldown was so short that I could still be mobile with it.
I get that the extra movement speed while playing Medic is incredibly useful but it is also really confusing and frustrating when a medic tells you that they are coming for you and then just sprint in the opposite direction. A lot of time wasted waiting for someone who has no intention of helping.
@@EndersFPS Yeah sometimes it's impossible to get to someone who is downed, but I was just referencing instances where you are in relative safety. I'm always left scratching my head when a medic pings me and just runs off. Regardless, your video does have some solid tips for new players.
Something about the medics swift effort trait: You focus the revive icon, lock on to it with q, then you sprint faster towards him. Also the soldier gets a notification that you're en route. Usually nobody cares but just letting you guys know. Medics a tough but important job.
Medic is god tier I've alone turned the tide of a battle with a good double smoke placement and 6 revives slapped my med crate down and pushed with the boys. We won 🏆
AT mines at the repair point and common approach tracks are in every tank map these days, definitely impacts outcomes. Lunge mines are very common too the days.
Type 97 is pretty good when you equip it with the 3x and use it as a “lmg sniper”, the shotguns are good on team death match and operation underground, the stg 44 is really good
Imma have to call cap on what u said about MMGs. I mained the M1919A6 for so long and have it full gold. It is by far the best gun I’ve used in the entire game so far. The accuracy combined with the damage is absolutely disgusting. The amount of areas I’ve absolutely cleared solo is insane. I’ve beat SO many snipers with it too. I used it like a normal gun, running around like usual except I just gotta throw myself to the floor in close quarters which works super well cuz the enemy has a hard time hitting me and doesn’t expect the move. As for the other MMGs, they are still super effective too and fun to use. The MG 42 and VGO are the most fun imo
Sometimes when 10 orangutans on the enemy team are using shotguns it becomes too annoying so I take them out to remind them that they’re lucky I don’t use them all the time

I see a lot of Veterans using the STG-44 even after the release of BF 2042. Some players like using the Karabin including myself. Of course you're going to get shredded at close range, but if you're in medium-long range it's easy aim and get 3 quick shots in on unprepared players.
I really like the demolition grenade, not for its intended purpose, but to do the rapid-fire bolt-action glitch. I find it can be really useful sometimes, to be able to get off lots of shots with the bolt-actions (though if I’m going for actual success I’ll use ZH-29, but I kinda got bored with it so started using bolt-actions)
I think the Johnson is one of the best guns on battlefield 5 for assault you got your range you got 10 rounds to play with and you also got damaged and you also got accuracy
Dude.... People can literally slap your cheeks with an M2 carbine or 1907 SF short bursts. It's only good at range and at said range it kills in 3 shots just like all those 360 rpm rifles which aren't too bad at close range by the way
For Assault I always run Vehicle Buster. It's just far more useful. Sure, fast health regen is nice but with the slough of medic stations and actual medics in the game, it's never really an issue. You'll die or you won't, it's just how it goes. Extra Requisition(yes squad points) and spotting vehicles when you damage them is extremely useful. Blow up a transport with a PIAT for instance, kill 3 guys and earn like 1,200 to your squad is way better than earning 900 for the same thing without it. As far as the Johnson being bad... it's a more accurate version of the Selbstlader M1916. While I prefer the 1916 to it because of the ammo count, for long range engagements against other semi auto rifles it's quite good. The Gewher 1-5(not the StG 1-5) is probably the best all around Assault weapon. Moderate enough ROF to be used up close or afar, good damage, accuracy and low recoil. The rest is subjective to what you want to accomplish. For medic, Combat Medic is pretty useless unless you just want to be a melee player. Field Medic should always be the #1 choice as it's just better. I would have included the Commando Carbine as a potential for a good gun as it has a higher ROF than the other 2 bolt action medic options, it's suppressed automatically, and can easily 2 hit kill. Jungle Carbine is a beast at those mid-long range options. Tromboncino is great for creating a bit more of a versatile medic with some potential to do anti tank duty with the rifle grenades. As far as SMG's go though I'd say EMP is probably the best all around gun or perhaps it's just the one I do best with. I like the ZK but it just never puts them down quick enough to me. For Support, I use shotgun with the Engineer role but MMG's and LMG's for the Machine Gunner trait. As far as "not being as effective as using a straight up gun" I would have to disagree with you there. When you can go like 40+ kills a game with MMG's because of how good they are that statement holds no weight. Most all MMG's and LMG's do the same damage per shot with exception to the Chauchat. But as far as MMG's are concerned the M1922 is probably the best. Has the most ammo, ROF is on par with most MMG's, and it's about as accurate as they come. There's pretty much no downside to it. As far as LMG's are concerned BAR is a great candidate for best overall performer. Though I've found the Chauchat destroys people just like it did in BF1 and it's become my personal favorite. As far as shotguns are concerned, most all of them behave in similar fashion it comes down to capacity and ROF. Most all have the same capacity, by ROF I believe the Auto-5 is the winner as well as potential capacity and is overall a great shotgun but the Sjogren or M1897 Trench Gun are still 2 of the best. M37 is better if you're shooting at potential maximum ranges for number of pellets on target but the closer you get the more it's like the rest to a point it doesn't have a huge advantage. The Recon class is a mixed bag for me. The Sniper role is generally a better role but the Pathfinder does have it's own uses. As far as the Selbstlader vs ZH argument goes. I remember when the Selbstlader first dropped and my first thought was "Huh... so it's like the ZH". I tested reload times on the two. With the Quick Reload specialization vs the Detachable Magazine the two are nearly identical in reload times. The ZH with Trigger job gains the same ROF as the Selbstlader but you miss out on detachable magazines. So, the Selbstlader has the potential to be more stable because of the Bi-Pod as first choice. Coupled with Recoil Buffer it's more stable and faster firing so you're more likely to secure the kill at longer ranges. If you're going for a more aggressive play style the Selbstlader still offers some options that make it better for those that can squeeze every bit out of their gun but the detachable magazine option for the ZH makes it usually more favorable to most. The pistol carbines though are fantastic. P08 does more damage at range but C96 beats it on ROF and ammo capacity. The M3 Carbine is a bit middle of the road and frankly don't much care for it but it does have better long range potential. As far as the anti tank rifles are concerned their main flaw is low bullet velocties, but as far as pure killing potential goes they are fantastic. They are the only class of weapons in Recon that can 1 hit kill without hitting the head. I believe for longer range some of the bolt actions of the above ZH/Selbstlader rifles to be better but they are far from the worst thing you could do.
The BOYS AT rifle and the german Anti tank rifle should have been weapon pick ups for the european maps like how the flam thrower and katana are for the pacific maps
Right? I mean almost every LMG and MMG do identical damage to each other, so the only variances are ammo counts, and LMG's can fire aimed. Which is nice, but often if you stumble upon a person in your face the hip fire and ROF of MMG's takes them out anyways. Done that many many times. And if you catch them unaware, drop prone and light them up. Could easily pull up videos I've got saved of MMG's getting like 15+ kill backs to back. LMG's often having 20 to 30 rounds and taking 4 shots to kill on average SEVERELY limits your kill potentials. Sure faster reloads are nice, but doesn't do you any good when the other guy doesn't run out of ammo.
STG is still fantastic on console, i'm still actively playing BFV on console with a 4kd and I honestly prefer it out of most, use the hipfire tree/lightstock and put a 3x on it, very manageable tap fire/burst fire and hella fun to use
I agree. It's one of the best all rounders if your decent on console. I've learned personally though that it's not great in close encounters. Unless you get those 2 head shots your usually out gunned. I kinda hate how in close range the helmets still ricochet big ass bullets that have the capacity to blow through several helmets at that range.
Yeah I think it's very important for enders to specify he is on PC. The game is much different on console. People love to say "well console has aim assist!" But it's just not honest. PC is typically way easier to be more accurate on, even without aim assist. Guns that can hit reliably are way more viable on console. STG is still very good because of this. It's not as much of TTK be all end all on console
PIAT can hit up to 56 per hit, not 50. I have tested extensively. Also most people don't realise that PIAT will show the general area where it will hit on the map so you can use it as a close range shoulder mounted mortar. Also agree with the MMG comment. They ruined support by making the LMGs low ammo so it funnels players into the MMG for the ammo but you get sniped the second you mount to fire one. It kills me that the MG42 sucks. It's the only reason I would play Support.
MMGs are goated. U just gotta know how to use them. I mained the M1919A6 for ages and have it full gold. I made it work by not camping or staying in one spot too long. I used it like a normal gun and ran around with it like one. Only extra step was having to throw myself on the floor in close combat which actually works well in my experience cuz the enemy doesn’t expect it and ur harder to hit. Also, the MG 42 is an amazing gun for clearing rooms and smaller areas because of the fire rate. It absolutely deletes people in like 1 second. I’ve beat out loads of medics with the MG 42 cuz of the damage and fire rate combo even if they started firing first.
I love the video and agree with you everything you said except for the the AT Mines. I constantly kill people with the mines. It’s just you have to put them in the most unexpecting spots. Put them in front of the resupply crates for vehicles and I guarantee you will get multiple kills. Same thing expect for expect but the mines off the side of the road instead of the middle of the road because they are expecting for it there. Also, here’s a big game changer to however read this. Put AT mines under the mini bridge on the way to objective C on Hamada on Breakthrough. Same thing for objective C but on the other side where the ruined buildings are. The 2 openings you can put times there and will kill those pesky flankers!
Is that why I'm getting slaughtered online?( I'm level 3) do you have to unlock the better weapons? If so how? Its hard to level up when I'm killed within 20 seconds of respawning
@@Mika1999Mika bf1 vet here, if your dying off spawn I would spawn further back, and also you can buy guns, I think there are some that you have to unlock by level. And since time to kill is so high I would hold down the trigger until the opponent is dead, not accidentally stop shooting mid way.

Beg to differ on the AT mines. Placed in the right area it only takes 2 of them to blow up a tank and they also remain placed when you die. They are underrated for sure. Just have to put them at the foot of a bridge or a choke point crossing. Sometimes I’ll put 2 down and 5 minutes later a multi kill vehicle kill shows up on my screen.
the piat is a mortar type weapon. it amazes me how many ppl don't know that and how many do but never talk about it. you can zero in on the mini map w the piat and hit tanks without even being up close.
The thing is this guy is a pro therefore he can do well with most guns so that may be why he’s recommending low star guns like how pro spy players prefer stock because they’re good enough to do well
To be honest, it kinda seems weird that a lot of people completely gloss over the Karabin 1938M, it has very similar statistics to the Gewehr 43, except for the fact that control wise, it has a little bit less vertical recoil (which in my opinion is very evident on semi autos), now I get that not having a detachable magazine kinda sucks, but if you're someone that uses a weapon like the Turner SMLE, trust me, just put quick reload on the Karabin 1938M and you'll like it.
You are really underestimating the lunge mine enders. As a pretty experienced tanker, I'm here to tell you the lunge mine is annoying af. A good tanker can stop an attacker with dynamite and shaped charges pretty easily if they are playing smart. Lunge mine is much more difficult to react to, as it often happens so fast. Especially on the support class who can resupply the lunge mine instantly, they can kill a tank from full health within 4 seconds, in a much safer way than dynamite. Faster to usually
@@EndersFPS it's not OP or anything. It's just very good. I almost guarantee you that you get heavily damaged by it. You might not even realize what it was because it can happen so fast. A lone guy with a lunge mine isn't much more of a threat that dynamite. But combined with several people shooting rockets at you, it's pretty nasty. Dynamite is slow to deploy and leaves you very vulnerable. Lunge mine is much faster to deploy and you are much more likely to get that strike off, even if you do end up dying
at some point you'll have to play all the classes since only maining one isnt always usefull, so instead just try to understand which is more usefull in what occasions
i alway have been a recon/medic and in all bfs i have a 1.8 kda not camping far away but always in zones and bf1 was my best game for medic and rexon was stupid easy in bf sincd sniper had sweet spot to 1 shot body shot

PIAT, Lunge Mine, Tank Grenade is OP setup. Get behind a tank, shoot PIAT, cancel reload by throwing a grenade and select lunge mine while you throw the grenade. You can blow a tank up in like 2 seconds with this setup.
I would not watch this video if you are looking for tips and info for the game. This is more a video to show personal preferences then actual breakdown to the classes and gear. For example, to just say "Don't use incendiary grenades." without giving a reason why. (In reality, they are very helpful in flushing out campers, and if thrown over a fallen enemy, forces them to respawn faster, preventing recovery from a teammate)
Also M3 infrared has regular bullets instead of tracer rounds and barely has any muzzle flash and no scope flare despite having 3x magnification. That combined with extremely quiet shots and lack of damage direction markers make you literally fucking invisible. You can kill entire squads without being noticed at all. Also it is fast shooting. It means when using sniper combat role you can highlight a fuckton of people at long distance without revealing your general location with red smoke trail from flare gun. It also kills very quickly in its intended range. That makes a bloody op weapon second only to ZH 29
This is a really good guide for new players like me but i disagree on the spotting scope, i find it extremely useful when playing at range to spot enemies without producing scope glint
I think the spotting scope is generally just less useful than flares, but I can see it having some use in certain situations. The flare is a fire and forget type thing that you can use on the move
I'm going to leave the videos about vehicles to those who play in vehicles and have in depth knowledge about them. I'd recommend watching Azura's videos on some of the vehicles

It’s all based on player style. I use crates in BF4 and Bandages in BF1/5. Sometimes it’s also situational.

Most all shotguns with slugs do this. Potentially the Auto 5 with Slugs and Extended tube makes it one of the best.
Nah, it's the hip fire upgrade with the slugs that makes the Sjögren a beast. I tried the slugs with other shotguns and they barely work.

I do just fine with the Johnson. Aim at the chest and the next shot is a headshot. Decent 2 pop kill....albiet with good aim otherwise your smoked

For medic, Combat Medic is pretty useless unless you just want to be a melee player. Field Medic should always be the #1 choice as it's just better. I would have included the Commando Carbine as a potential for a good gun as it has a higher ROF than the other 2 bolt action medic options, it's suppressed automatically, and can easily 2 hit kill. Jungle Carbine is a beast at those mid-long range options. Tromboncino is great for creating a bit more of a versatile medic with some potential to do anti tank duty with the rifle grenades. As far as SMG's go though I'd say EMP is probably the best all around gun or perhaps it's just the one I do best with. I like the ZK but it just never puts them down quick enough to me.
For Support, I use shotgun with the Engineer role but MMG's and LMG's for the Machine Gunner trait. As far as "not being as effective as using a straight up gun" I would have to disagree with you there. When you can go like 40+ kills a game with MMG's because of how good they are that statement holds no weight. Most all MMG's and LMG's do the same damage per shot with exception to the Chauchat. But as far as MMG's are concerned the M1922 is probably the best. Has the most ammo, ROF is on par with most MMG's, and it's about as accurate as they come. There's pretty much no downside to it. As far as LMG's are concerned BAR is a great candidate for best overall performer. Though I've found the Chauchat destroys people just like it did in BF1 and it's become my personal favorite. As far as shotguns are concerned, most all of them behave in similar fashion it comes down to capacity and ROF. Most all have the same capacity, by ROF I believe the Auto-5 is the winner as well as potential capacity and is overall a great shotgun but the Sjogren or M1897 Trench Gun are still 2 of the best. M37 is better if you're shooting at potential maximum ranges for number of pellets on target but the closer you get the more it's like the rest to a point it doesn't have a huge advantage.
The Recon class is a mixed bag for me. The Sniper role is generally a better role but the Pathfinder does have it's own uses. As far as the Selbstlader vs ZH argument goes. I remember when the Selbstlader first dropped and my first thought was "Huh... so it's like the ZH". I tested reload times on the two. With the Quick Reload specialization vs the Detachable Magazine the two are nearly identical in reload times. The ZH with Trigger job gains the same ROF as the Selbstlader but you miss out on detachable magazines. So, the Selbstlader has the potential to be more stable because of the Bi-Pod as first choice. Coupled with Recoil Buffer it's more stable and faster firing so you're more likely to secure the kill at longer ranges. If you're going for a more aggressive play style the Selbstlader still offers some options that make it better for those that can squeeze every bit out of their gun but the detachable magazine option for the ZH makes it usually more favorable to most. The pistol carbines though are fantastic. P08 does more damage at range but C96 beats it on ROF and ammo capacity. The M3 Carbine is a bit middle of the road and frankly don't much care for it but it does have better long range potential. As far as the anti tank rifles are concerned their main flaw is low bullet velocties, but as far as pure killing potential goes they are fantastic. They are the only class of weapons in Recon that can 1 hit kill without hitting the head. I believe for longer range some of the bolt actions of the above ZH/Selbstlader rifles to be better but they are far from the worst thing you could do.

Right? I mean almost every LMG and MMG do identical damage to each other, so the only variances are ammo counts, and LMG's can fire aimed. Which is nice, but often if you stumble upon a person in your face the hip fire and ROF of MMG's takes them out anyways. Done that many many times. And if you catch them unaware, drop prone and light them up. Could easily pull up videos I've got saved of MMG's getting like 15+ kill backs to back.
LMG's often having 20 to 30 rounds and taking 4 shots to kill on average SEVERELY limits your kill potentials. Sure faster reloads are nice, but doesn't do you any good when the other guy doesn't run out of ammo.
I get MMG's aren't as practical but there's nothing more fun in the game to me than mowing down enemies from a building window with one
STG is still fantastic on console, i'm still actively playing BFV on console with a 4kd and I honestly prefer it out of most, use the hipfire tree/lightstock and put a 3x on it, very manageable tap fire/burst fire and hella fun to use
I agree. It's one of the best all rounders if your decent on console. I've learned personally though that it's not great in close encounters. Unless you get those 2 head shots your usually out gunned.
I kinda hate how in close range the helmets still ricochet big ass bullets that have the capacity to blow through several helmets at that range.
Yeah I think it's very important for enders to specify he is on PC. The game is much different on console. People love to say "well console has aim assist!" But it's just not honest. PC is typically way easier to be more accurate on, even without aim assist. Guns that can hit reliably are way more viable on console. STG is still very good because of this. It's not as much of TTK be all end all on console
PIAT can hit up to 56 per hit, not 50. I have tested extensively. Also most people don't realise that PIAT will show the general area where it will hit on the map so you can use it as a close range shoulder mounted mortar.
Also agree with the MMG comment. They ruined support by making the LMGs low ammo so it funnels players into the MMG for the ammo but you get sniped the second you mount to fire one. It kills me that the MG42 sucks. It's the only reason I would play Support.
MMGs are goated. U just gotta know how to use them. I mained the M1919A6 for ages and have it full gold. I made it work by not camping or staying in one spot too long. I used it like a normal gun and ran around with it like one. Only extra step was having to throw myself on the floor in close combat which actually works well in my experience cuz the enemy doesn’t expect it and ur harder to hit.
Also, the MG 42 is an amazing gun for clearing rooms and smaller areas because of the fire rate. It absolutely deletes people in like 1 second. I’ve beat out loads of medics with the MG 42 cuz of the damage and fire rate combo even if they started firing first.

I love the video and agree with you everything you said except for the the AT Mines. I constantly kill people with the mines. It’s just you have to put them in the most unexpecting spots. Put them in front of the resupply crates for vehicles and I guarantee you will get multiple kills. Same thing expect for expect but the mines off the side of the road instead of the middle of the road because they are expecting for it there. Also, here’s a big game changer to however read this. Put AT mines under the mini bridge on the way to objective C on Hamada on Breakthrough. Same thing for objective C but on the other side where the ruined buildings are. The 2 openings you can put times there and will kill those pesky flankers!

@@Mika1999Mika bf1 vet here, if your dying off spawn I would spawn further back, and also you can buy guns, I think there are some that you have to unlock by level. And since time to kill is so high I would hold down the trigger until the opponent is dead, not accidentally stop shooting mid way.

Beg to differ on the AT mines. Placed in the right area it only takes 2 of them to blow up a tank and they also remain placed when you die. They are underrated for sure. Just have to put them at the foot of a bridge or a choke point crossing. Sometimes I’ll put 2 down and 5 minutes later a multi kill vehicle kill shows up on my screen.
But you can't banzai charge the tank with your lunge mine for glory of the emperor. That's a big con for me

the piat is a mortar type weapon. it amazes me how many ppl don't know that and how many do but never talk about it. you can zero in on the mini map w the piat and hit tanks without even being up close.

To be honest, it kinda seems weird that a lot of people completely gloss over the Karabin 1938M, it has very similar statistics to the Gewehr 43, except for the fact that control wise, it has a little bit less vertical recoil (which in my opinion is very evident on semi autos), now I get that not having a detachable magazine kinda sucks, but if you're someone that uses a weapon like the Turner SMLE, trust me, just put quick reload on the Karabin 1938M and you'll like it.
You are really underestimating the lunge mine enders. As a pretty experienced tanker, I'm here to tell you the lunge mine is annoying af. A good tanker can stop an attacker with dynamite and shaped charges pretty easily if they are playing smart. Lunge mine is much more difficult to react to, as it often happens so fast. Especially on the support class who can resupply the lunge mine instantly, they can kill a tank from full health within 4 seconds, in a much safer way than dynamite. Faster to usually

@@EndersFPS it's not OP or anything. It's just very good. I almost guarantee you that you get heavily damaged by it. You might not even realize what it was because it can happen so fast. A lone guy with a lunge mine isn't much more of a threat that dynamite. But combined with several people shooting rockets at you, it's pretty nasty. Dynamite is slow to deploy and leaves you very vulnerable. Lunge mine is much faster to deploy and you are much more likely to get that strike off, even if you do end up dying

i alway have been a recon/medic and in all bfs i have a 1.8 kda not camping far away but always in zones and bf1 was my best game for medic and rexon was stupid easy in bf sincd sniper had sweet spot to 1 shot body shot

PIAT, Lunge Mine, Tank Grenade is OP setup. Get behind a tank, shoot PIAT, cancel reload by throwing a grenade and select lunge mine while you throw the grenade. You can blow a tank up in like 2 seconds with this setup.

My go to medic gun is the jungle/commando carbine
I would not watch this video if you are looking for tips and info for the game. This is more a video to show personal preferences then actual breakdown to the classes and gear. For example, to just say "Don't use incendiary grenades." without giving a reason why. (In reality, they are very helpful in flushing out campers, and if thrown over a fallen enemy, forces them to respawn faster, preventing recovery from a teammate)

Also M3 infrared has regular bullets instead of tracer rounds and barely has any muzzle flash and no scope flare despite having 3x magnification. That combined with extremely quiet shots and lack of damage direction markers make you literally fucking invisible. You can kill entire squads without being noticed at all. Also it is fast shooting. It means when using sniper combat role you can highlight a fuckton of people at long distance without revealing your general location with red smoke trail from flare gun. It also kills very quickly in its intended range. That makes a bloody op weapon second only to ZH 29

This is a really good guide for new players like me but i disagree on the spotting scope, i find it extremely useful when playing at range to spot enemies without producing scope glint
I think the spotting scope is generally just less useful than flares, but I can see it having some use in certain situations. The flare is a fire and forget type thing that you can use on the move
