I always liked riven but i only got the arcade skin and it feels so uncomfortable to play with but yesterday i packed the spirit blossom and it is so cool so i am very motivated to play her now great video

Yo thanks a lot. I'm a 50k riven main with 39% winrate and I'm concerned that it's mostly my fault that the games are being lost. I know combos, mechanics, animation cancels etc. I just can't implement them in my games. Hopefully I can improve
@@billthegreek what helped me was to go to lower elo. I started playing Riven on B3, where ppl do lot of mistakes and cant really punish you for anything. Thats where after some games, it really clicked for me.. I knew the comboes etc aswell, but my weak points were teamfights and correct trade patterns into champ xxx.. now it is my main on main acc..
I got lucky and pulled a Riven (my main) out of the first two hextech chests the game gives you, and I pulled Sentinel Riven. However, you didn't rank her so I was wondering where you would put her in the tiers you used.
i can agree with most of the parts of the guid! good work.. But honestly, the matchup tierlist is rly weird. there are so many matchups like jax and fiora and wukong which are simply skill matchups where you have to know how to trade them. and then there is gp as " free" if gp knows the matchup he wont let you hit him all game until hes gold ahead from passivs and first strike etc.
@@thomaswhitlock6272 that matchup is terrible if he just holds q, he will walk at you permanently with e everytime you try to last hit and he stat checks you at Bork or divine and you never win after that unless you significantly outplay
@@thomaswhitlock6272 Jax is a high skill matchup if he goes with Lethal tempo, he always will win the trade if you dont know how to make short trades and avoid his E, and after he get shen and tabis it will be tooo hard to lane against him.
They are about to nerf Jak Sho for bruisers so not worth. Not sure about eclipse, maybe against very squishy comps, otherwise hydra into gore will provide more value.
No joke. I have the battle bunny riven skin for a while and I've played with it for a couple of hours(around 100) and stopped playing her because she didn't feel smooth to play with. Recently I got the urge to main riven and went to PBE and looked at Spirit and Dragonblade and both are super clean and smooth( Spirit is definitely smoother), but I'm Asian and I can buy spirit blossom anytime so I bought dragonblade. These two skins make riven so much fun! My riven combos feel smoother, faster, and cleaner!
Hello I am extremely new to leauge but have been playing TFT for a couple years. This has made me familiar with certain champions and when deciding to finally start league I made a choice that instead of playing meta characters I would play the characters I enjoyed the most in TFT since those were the champions I had an emotional connection to and were the most fun for me. I got lucky since Riven has always been my favorite champion since Set 4 Dusk in TFT, and she just so happened to be a powerful top laner. Other guides just give a rune page, item build, and show the player having a good game, but I found your guide very in depth and helpful. As a new player I can't thank you enough, it taught me a lot about the champion and on the game in general. I will definitely be watching more of your channel in the future.
Malphite and jax hard tier, yasuo and darius easy tier. This is probably true for elo around bronze-silver. Dont waste your time watching this bullshit.
Really confused and put off by Gangplank being in the free tier. Makes me wonder what elo you actually are because good Gankplanks make it a hard matchup. Adrian Riven was banning GP when going Riven not too long ago. Pretty sure he wouldn't ban a free matchup especially since it's even easier for Fiora. Edit: I'm going to have to click off this video man. Putting Fiora in the please dodge category means you have no idea how to play Riven. It's 100% a skill matchup. Second edit: I don't want to be completely negative so I do want to say I like your Fiora guides and I think that you are probably a better Fiora than I am, but you definitely have some things to learn about Riven.
I havent started the video yet, but i think it would be better so i get my opinion without being influenced, i do believe that Riven gets a pretty easy lane against GP most of the games and in most elos, while in the top brackets it might be different because a good barrel combo can probably win fights by itself and GPs know how to hold the lane the boring way, the laning phase is pretty good for riven and in the case of Fiora...even if it is a "skill matchup",man its Fiora, she is literally one of the most oppresive champions right now,tanks? done, fighters? done, splitpush? done, you could make the argument for teamfights but Fiora just brings so much and even more now that Hydra is good and it gives her a good presence in team fights, Fiora is probably the most dangerous top lane right now across most of the ranks(you can make the argument for Nasus/Darius in some very low elos, and a point stands for Ksante aswell even if he is a bit new for more data to be around)
@@nightmarer9343 yeah the lane is definitely free against bad GPs, and you can cheese it by standing in brush until GP autos the first minion, but good GP's will use spacing and barrel slows to keep Riven from getting on him. Rivens only hope is to all in him but good GPs won't give you the chance. For Fiora, yes she is strong. S tier even. That still doesn't mean it's an impossible matchup for Riven. Bad Fioras are easy to take advantage of and good Fioras can still be beat a good 50% of the time by Riven.

32:01 riven didnt die cuz of the ignite diff, he was 1minion from level 2, the minion left with like 1 hp, she didnt get level 2 and died
