I've been playing a targon version of this. Running the shackle cards, recalling and binding them. When your opponent has a full hand with curses, recall whatever, and it obliterates them. Turns out if you recall shackled units, even if the unit would fit in hand after the shackle, they get obliterated before the shackles do.
That's crazy! I could've sworn I already tested that interaction, and confirmed that the shackles disappear before the unit goes back to hand. I still think the Suppression strategy is stronger though, since your opponent won't be able to free hand space by playing burst/fast spells. I imagine the Targon version runs into that problem quite a bit when trying to obliterate. Either way, gonna have to try the Targon version for myself! Thank you!
