I've been experimenting with shady spectacles myself, and it turns out if you make it copy a valley of imitation in unir form, at the end of the round the unit will transform back to its original form and remove the equipment, combined with big game tycoon it makes for hundreds of stats in after just one turn.
another way to grant Yuumi additional keywords is with Void Gate, you might try a Shurima Targon build, to make a keyworded up Yuumi together with Kaisa
That's... absolutely true! But void gate is funny, and the only other option I can really think of that would give attach units keywords. Though the fact you mention, that no unit is more likely than another to receive keywords does make me think that it should maybe be a bandle shurima deck, so we can use the fae/attach synergies to make a number of key worded buffs/units that are repeatable, rather than just 1 with Yuumi. it would lock us out of both the dog and goggles, but I don't think anything with void gate is going to be terribly good anyhow, given the random nature, but thank you for inspiring the idea anyhow. @@FlickerRussel
I think the reason why Free Attacks counter Stun is because it makes Free Attack a soft counter to stun heavy decks. That way you can't totally stop someone's turn with all slow stuns like Guile or Crescent Strike
Free attack is less common than challenging and challenging came first. Challenging a stunned unit makes sense right? And that's likely where the rule that other effects can make stunned units get into combat came from. If free attack effects worked differently it's be strange.
@@SkiGlovesie Free attacks are definitely different, because it is the stunned unit itself that is initiating the combat sequence. If another unit chooses to challenge a stunned unit, that makes sense. But it doesn't make sense for a stunned Vayne to be able to leap into battle every single turn with no way to stop her... 😝
Something I'm cooking right now is a pure Targon Morgana dragons deck. Her shenanigans are great at buying you time wile you let your dragons do what they naturally do, you throw Areolian in there just to round it out and give your potentially but ultimately unlikely raid boss Morg a final boss backing her up.
Ah-HA! So this deck is your fault! I ran into this on ladder just now and it really gave me a run for my money. I did end up winning in the end, but only barely. If they would have had overwhelm on any of the big units they built, they probably would have had me. Very powerful concept. 👏 (I was playing Viego Morde, and when I finally drew my champs, their level 2 forms pushed the match in my favor.)
Mr Visionary, what if Demacia Targon deck with Yuumi, handbuffing, using the Targon guy who gives Spellshield/Overwhelm in hand and Demacia guy who gives Challanger in hand, maybe throw in a Mobilize or Cloud Drake in there too.
Ooh, I like the idea of reducing Yuumi's cost with cloud drake! I have some Yuumi decks planned with the spellshield/overwhelm thing...I'll have to add this one to my list!
I thought about this, but Chemtech Drake only deals damage to the nexus if you Draw with a full hand. I don't think getting cards back from Scholar counts, so you would still need to mill yourself to hit lethal. 😔
I did try morg, but she honestly felt like a waste of space. I would always rather spend mana on a buff for my starhound pack or scholar...spending 5 mana on a separate unit just doesn't feel right in this deck.

True for base units, but overwhelm on an elusive? Might as well just go for spellshield, especially in this matchup.

But like.... isn't your other units going to have the same keywords as Yummi? I dont see how is Yummi special in a void gate deck

I think I have like a 20% winrate with this deck so far, but I gotta say, those 20% games were completely hilarity and spice 😂

morgana is a better champ for this kind of deck as well. the only finisher you need is the doggo gang.
