- In this video I talk about my two week update post open myomectomy. I went to see my fertility specialist and at this appointment he did an incision check, a pelvic exam and discussed future fertility options. Watch this video to hear about how I was feeling two weeks after surgery.

Out of curiosity have you ever thought of doing a hair routine video?? I am also an RN...I currently work at home doing case management...i had interest in going to Capella to finish my BSN but still undecided...I noticed your hair has changed a lot in your videos...i am natural as well...still struggling to find a good routine...would love to know what you are using.

I know I'm late but, glad to hear that your egg count is up 🙂. Try taking bee pollen and eating healthy. You can get the egg count up naturally.
I so happy things are going great for you I have large fibroids but it does not cause me any pain or discomfort however I have been trying to conceive naturally and no luck I am definitely thinking about doing the same procedure you did but I’m so scared of getting a sea section

Yay Venessa! This is good news. 👏🏾💖🙌🏾 I weeks post-op and on my right side i do feel poking and making sure I do strain too much especially getting up out of bed...do you urine a lot? 😩 tmi I know but I feel like anytime I drink I’m on my way to the bathroom lol 😂🤦🏾♀️
Emptying your bladder will actually relieve some of that pain in your pelvis. But yes that’s normal. I still feel like everytime I drink anything I have to empty my bladder. That poking feeling are the sutures 😫 It’s the weirdest feeling lol. All an adjustment you’ll get better each day. Get lots of rest!
Hey Vanessa did you test AMH? if so what was your value, I have fibroids and have low AMH, so am worried
Yes, my doctor ordered an Ovarian Reserve Assessment test, the other name for it is AMH..I’m sorry to hear that! I do know there are ways to increase your egg count.
Glad to know you are doing well. Did your belly remain bigger or more puffy than before the surgery?
Thank you! My stomach still has some swelling so it’s hard to tell right now.

Hello! At the moment, no. I'm still in the recovery process from surgery. Don't want to over do it just yet.
Congrats on getting surgery!! How long are you expected to be in recovery? Can you return back to work?
Thank you! I returned to a desk job after 4 weeks but it takes at least 6 weeks for the incisions internally to heal. Mine felt like they took a few months to fully heal.
When you went vegan did you notice a change in how you felt and did it shrink your fibroids?
It definitely helped prevent them from getting larger. Less painful cycles, lighter flow.
Hey can you do a video about every supplement you took for ttc?
Hey! I’m not taking anything at the moment bc I just had surgery. Some herbs make the uterus contract so I’m going to wait a few more weeks when the sutures are dissolved.

Did you have to get a pelvic MRI before surgery?
For the open myomectomy an MRI was not necessary.

They like to get a better view of location and sizes before surgery. I’ve had a pelvic MRI in the past before UFE

Going for an open myomectomy soon..l had a miscarriage at 8weeks 1st pregnancy 2weeks ago because of fibroids..hoping l can heal and try again.Was thinking of alternative ways without having to go under the knife but after binging on ur videos l have pretty much made up my mind that open myomectomy is the way to go as the biggest one had grown to 10cm during pregnancy
