I always squeeze a couple of lemons and freeze the juice in ice cube trays so if I run out of lemons I just pull a cube or two from the freezer.
Great idea!
Hey Benji! I'm a pastry chef from Portland Oregon. I appreciate how you talk about how organic vs. non organic and how sometimes farmers have organic fruits or veggies but just can't afford to get the official paperwork to be considered "Organic". Love your content, and Judy's too! 😊
I love the chef store down at Delta Park I miss it I live in Florida now and it sucks down here😢
I live 5 min walk from a US Foods Chef'Store. Great place to stock up on Freezer staples.
*FYI SNAP / EBT NOT Accepted. Seems like everytime I'm in there people leave their cart at the checkstand. Not bashing anyone, these are hard times, just have cash ready.
18:30 benji i can confirm that tomato bullion (knor) is very popular in mexican cuisine as well as the chicken and beef flavor knor
I don't know how it would taste but I was thinking you guys should try making ice cream mix with nutella
benji, you need to educate yourself on other asian cuisines.
he has such a narrow view of Asian cuisine
Am surprised that Benji hasn't tried Tom yom & Paella.
The price of food is outrageous it’s getting unbearable. I live in NYC and it’s getting difficult to keep up with food prices. I’d say the cheapest place for food is still Trader Joe’s. The problem with Trader Joe’s is they don’t have everything and things spoil quickly.
If you go to buy groceries do it for the whole month. So you can save money.
It’s not the first time I mention this but…I do admire your honesty, in all matters.
Few vloggers can mention they are financially independent so simply, basically.
You were pioneers on utube and have worked your way to the top, still remaining who you are, caring for others and bringing up children who are courteous, curious and ….not spoiled !
Good luck for this new school year!
Home cooked meals equals quality time with family too!
We are very fortunate as you, to be able to shop, buy anything we want. I actually love to shop, also shop at Chefs store. I recently bought a cut that isn’t available at Costco suggested by a butcher on UA-cam, not saying what cut, haven’t opened it yet, don’t want to say until we try it. Enjoy your channel, thank you. Sue
I buy the smallest bottle of lemon juice they last a good long while kinda scary but I keep it in my fridge and use when i need for baking. That lemon powder is Even better I'll have to try that!
STOP WAVING THE CAMERA AROUND!! SHOW US THE LABEL AND PRICE- SLOW DOWN!!
Garlic Parm sauce for wings! If you haven't had that before Benji; you gotta give it a try!! So many people love wings and that seems to be a very popular flavor!
Ha that Garlic and Parmisan Cheese Sauce I think it was I would have it on Chicken Burger or Snitz or maybe a nice cut of meat like Ribeye.. mid-raw. But,the price of meat in American is so so cheap...
I saw yesterday at Coles which is a grocery store in Aussie 🇦🇺 $35per Kg which they used to be like $0-50 each or cheaper...
I hope your kids don't watch your vlog that Natello Big Jar love it...U could make Pizza with it or puff pastry with a spread inside or biscuits...devine...better than biscuits that are factory made...
Can U have a look for PEPPER CORN used to put into Sauces PINK AND GREEN Ones or have they left us for good...😂❤😂❤😂❤
That Lemon powder would of been good for Sorbet or on Fresh Fruit...yummee...
Mouth is watering big time...😂❤😂❤😂❤
From the povertybay website. White Coffee is coffee roasted half of the way through and to a lower temperature. By roasting it to this much lower temperature, you get a whitish colored bean that is higher in caffeine because you roast out less caffeine. This results in a very nutty and sweet taste profile much different from traditional coffee.
Hi Benji, some spread ( chocolate) has hydrgenated oil as ingredient. You may want to avoid it if you can per my doctor
JB sat in the Taheen on the couch in the vlog yesterday lol 😂
Hi Benji! I have been watching you and Judy since the Condo Days! Love watching your vlogs! I heard you say that you hate washing dishes. I know you have a dishwasher, is it out of order? I realize that you have to wash pots and pans, but dishes out weigh pots and pans. Love you and your family, take care!
That store is cool! Great deals! We have a resturaunt depot that's like that. I have those waffle bowls so yummy and if they ever get soft pop em in the oven until slightly soft then let them cook they will crisp right back up. Im sure the girls will finish them! Perfect with kiera ice cream!🎉❤
KEIRA Ice Cream sounds nice.❤
Bottled lemon juice is chemically tasting. Those true lemon dehydrated powder packets though are very good. They keep a long time, some packets will get gummy but are still usable. I. Put 3 packs in a 32 oz water bottle.
Our local chef store is way smaller than yours.
Hi Benji, My first videos I watched were Judy's. I lost you and Judy for a couple years, but have really enjoyed your food and shopping videos and of course the videos with the girls, lately. You do such a good job in explaining foods, organic, etc.. Your content is so interesting to me and useful. Keep up the good work. Thanks so much!!
Garlic parmesean sauce is prob for pizza drizzle or on the crust.
Reese's peanut butter with the cheapest chocolate icecream is the best!!🎉❤
I feel like the bottled lemon juice is more bitter rather then sour. Nothing like real lemon but it’ll do the trick if you only need a little bit.
1:00 Dimethylpolysiloxane seems like an innocuous chemical that is used in medical, cosmetics and in the case of food additive in oil as an anti foaming agent. They use this additive also on Silly Putty toys as a lubricant. 6:46 White coffee are just coffee beans roasted to a yellow roast level.

Cooking at home can be very good for one’s health as long as Carbs, Butter and Oils aren’t a part of every meal 😉. Also cooking at a decent hour not midnight if you don’t have to, especially a 2nd or 3rd meal.
Agreed i also think processed food/snacks with less ingredients/preservative are healthier.
Gordon Food Service is a food service distributor based in Wyoming, Michigan serving the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest regions of the United States and coast-to-coast in Canada.
take a close look at the produce. they are meant to be used asap. there would be a lot of waste if the average family purchased in bulk like that. You need to sit down and calculate how much it would cost. You will be surprised.
Benji now try watermelon with Chamoy sauce & Tajin❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
i wanna buy bone marrow for Bulalo, its a collagen.
Have you ever heard of GFS (Gordon Food Service)? It’s similar to where you’re shopping at in this video (no membership required as well). Pretty good prices too. Do they have them out west?
we don’t have it out west. if you look at their website, they’re mostly east coast
@Benji Travis you have to try indian black salt on fruits sometime it make em taste sweeter naturally 😇
everyone in mexico uses knorr, it's 10/10 ⭐
A fav of mine at the Chefs Store is the Sweet Chili Sauce
They need some electric shopping carts- like AMIGO- for me to ride on!!
All store should have them! ❤
It's all all about the $$$$$ That's why.
Perhaps scrub veggies and fruit with lemon perhaps vinegar and naturally clean and purify many ways to use
The huge slabs of meat are called sub primal cuts and perfect for cutting your own steaks. Saving huge money with that!
Get a veggie wash which you can get from a health food store or perhaps Amazon or look up for a solution you can do from home or just eat as less of the peel because that's where you get most pesticide on veggies and fruit
Can we get a Kiera video on making a basic vanilla ice cream and that peach one. Wowzers it looks delicious. I’m still debating between the 1.5qt and 2 qt(stainless steel) cuisinart ice cream maker.
If you have friends and neighbors that want to save a lot of money. Bring them up and divide what you bought among yourselves. It will save you a lot of money.
Actually, white coffee is great, if you’re making a coffee drink mix that calls for it. Not gonna lie about it, since I do drink certain drink mix and I have a feeling that they make it for just specialty drinks.
Our Watermelons have been super sweet and delicious too, but last night the hubby said “I saw people dipping watermelon in SOYSAUCE”. I immediately told him NO! It has a distinctive taste and I know it won’t go well. He tried selling it to me saying it was good 🤢
White coffee is really lightly roasted coffee beans! “Double the caffeine” (I’m not really sure exactly how much more but it’s quite a bit). It has a very nutty flavor. We use it in drinks where customers don’t prefer a traditional coffee flavor. At all my coffee jobs we use white coffee in our espresso machines however you don’t tamp white coffee. You just fill the portafilter, put it in the machine and pull water for 3-4 seconds then stop. Let the coffee absorb the water for a minute and pull your “normal” shot
You are so mindful of all that you do. Thank you for sharing your shopping, cooking and family adventures!!
Another good video. Love your shopping trips because I love to grocery shopping. This store used to be one of my favorite places to shop. I haven't in a long time but will now go back.
If you want to long store your garlic peel it and put in a freezer bag and throw in the freezer when you need garlic bring it out take what you need and throw the rest back in the freezer.
BWW also has a garlic Parmesan sauce. So I’m assuming that bottle is also for wings.
Really loved your Japan vlogs sooo much! Hope you head out there again soon Benji!
I love watching you and your family on these videos and all the delicious food you cook for them!
Tajin on mango & cucumber 🔥 Kiera could do a Nutella ice cream
I would need to watch a video on how to keep produce fresher longer 😅😅
what's the name of this place and where's at?
Benji have you tried the sushi in costco yet?
We don't have that store in New York.
Thank you, Benji. I use fresh ingredients from a garden in the DMV. Many times, I don't know how to store them to keep them fresh. I bought the herb containers, and they kept them longer than just leaving them in the plastic bag. I threw out a lot of them because they spoiled. Maybe my refrigerator needs replacement
you can freeze the herbs. take some cheap ice trays and put the chopped herb in the little cups and pour something over them. Unfortunately, I can't remember what you can use. But you can look it up on google and find it that way. Hope this helps you.
Love ,true lemon,I get it at the Dollar tree.
Wish they had one in Chicago
FIRST
I love cooking
I just got a gallon of Amazon fresh peanut oil, usual price $17.33. Right now 15% off when you buy $50 of certain items. Also if you use some discover card rewards points you get $15 off $50.
At chefs store green onion,2# bag vary widely and quickly from around $4-$13. Right now its on the high side.
Half gallon heavy cream around $10.
Onions and potatoes also in 25# bags but 50# bags are usually just a few bucks more.
I love the real talk segments of your videos 9:15
damn, that amount of Frank's Hot Sauce cost $80 in my country in Europe.
I’m so INSPIRED Benji!! I enjoy your blogs and learning about cooking.
❤❤❤❤
You were talking about the garlic and storing. I have been loving the frozen scoop method in freezer bags. I buy the big peeled bag at regular Costco, pour in food processor, use my small scoop and put on trays with parchment paper, freeze them, then transfer to a zip lock bag and store in freezer. I have not noticed the flavor changing. But love the convenience of it being ready to go. It brakes down in the pan and if I need it to just be unthawed, I set it out or put it in for 10 secs or so in the microwave.
he bought a huge bag of garlic and it is going to waste in the fridge in the garage. Judy stated that in a past vlog. he has delusions of grandeur
