Thought of making a Baltic birch handle for my Diresta knife- now I know how
Awesome!
A little bit of everything in this one 👍
My favorite type of project!
Dang that Baltic birch looks coool!! Right on
Thank you!
The handle came out awesome Morley
Thanks Jacob!
That's a good looking knife! And sheath! Really put that rotary tool to work.
Thank you, Mr. Bear!
Big upgrade, but plywood and nails, still utilitarian. Great project!
Thanks, Dean!
lol sad between coats... it's both a typo and true! I remember when you pulled that knife out on our backcountry camping trip. I thought it was some kind of cheap knock off knife with the plastic handle/sheath. I really like how you improved it!
Thanks, man! Yeah it was a functional handle for sure but the cheap look of it always irked me. Much happier with the knife now
That came out great Morley. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks man, my pleasure!
Really cool Morley! Great look to it!
Thanks, Ethan :)
Nice job on the sheath. Great simple solution to stretch and clamp it, no complex forms required. I love the color.
Wet moulding is the best!
Very nice Morley. Very resourceful. I like the idea of making without needing a garage.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful work Morley. Love the finished product.
Thanks, Brent!
FYI there are Morakniv blades with full tang available for sale! Saves you the work of removing original handle with the dremel😃
So much sanding! Beautiful results, those layers look nice.
The most satisfying kind of sanding! Thanks Dave ❤️
Turned out great! 👌🏽
Thanks, Marylou 😁❤️
That was awesome!!!
That's awesome! Great work as usual... :)
Thanks so much!
Very Nice!
Great job buddy. Really like the look and feel of that!
Thanks, Colt!
Just discovered your channel, you definitely deserve more views. Don’t give up, your videos are awesome!
I didn’t watched your videos yet so maybe I missed it, but it would be great to see some tutorials on leatherworking. Explaining the tools, products you use, ...
Thanks so much, that means a lot! Some of my leatherworking videos do have detailed explanations ☺️
Muy bueno

Thanks man ❤️
That looks great.
What do you think of the Worx Maker X?
Thanks, Andy! It’s pretty good, the brushless motor is very nice on a rotary tool. Battery life left a bit to be desired when I was cutting off the old handle, but it seemed to last for a very long time when I was power carving. Maybe I just overstrained the motor with the cutting.
Another big pro - it’s way quieter than my wired Wen rotary tool, meaning I can use it indoors from time to time!
-Sad-
Haha glad you caught that. Thanks!

When is it acceptable to use nails in your project? When you're using them as pins 😉🤣
Haha is it ever unacceptable to use nails?
@@MorleyKert nails are a last resort, like flat blade screws 😬
Interesting philosophy! I kind of like using nails, there’s something very satisfying and ancient about them. And they’re about 100x more enjoyable than flat head screws 😂
@@MorleyKert Pinnails are handy for small parts, otherwise I save them for construction grade projects.
Awesome my friend, I know the feeling of working hours on something that can be purchased for $30 dollars 😅 but I rather spend endless amount of time and money buying tools and stuff I’ll never use again just to get the high of knowing I made it myself 😊 you have my admiration and respect 🫡
