MY FIRST flight on KLM was in 1954 from holland to sydney australia i was 6 years old .im am now 71 .

So Martha's introduction before the flight was in English and the rest of the video is in Dutch! Dutch people can speak so fluent articulate English mate.

V1 is the takeoff speed when you have to decide whether you continue with he takeoff or abort it. V2 is the the point beyond when the takeoff cannot be aborted. Let me know if I'm wrong but otherwise great video!

Papa is a call sign ok...and what that full meaning..?
Its the Aeronautical alphabet, Papa stands for the letter P. So the callsign for this flight is KLM11P. Its like a flightnumber :)

@@Nagaraj-rd4vm No, it's just like a flight number, it has nothing to do with a flight number. It is the "identification" of the flight/aircraft for the ATC etc. To communicate with the ATC, the pilots won't use their flight number, but their callsign.
@@shivano4624 but the callsign can in many cases be the flight number (especially in north america)

No, you have to speak Dutch

@@mnaviator3759 When you do not know Dutch, you can still apply if you pass a Dutch test at B2 level. Some pilots with KLM do speak English only.
