- Wendy Williams is mourning the death of her mother. The media mogul confirmed the heartbreaking news during a recent episode of "The Wendy Williams Show." She shared, "My mom passed away many, many, many, many weeks ago. You know how you lose track of the day and time? All I know was it was a long time ago. The five of us, my mom, dad, my siblings, the five of us -she will always be here."
I honestly can't believe it. This is terrible. Her mother was fabulous.

Wendy's show is still on cause she is kinda like the Simon Cowell of hip hop culture, hollywood and pop culture that everyone loves to hate. It has clearly kept her on air. @@daniaa1602 not about showing compassion all the time but under certain circumstances certain things that she's said about people was unnecessary. Rappers wife has cancer... Wendy decides to talk about it eventhough he asked her not to because no one knew. Not even her family.

Sadly I thought so until the news stating that her brother announced on his live podcast that their mum died on Sunday(1 week or do now). So that's definitely not the reason, she was under the influence of something and had nothing to do with my mum's recent passing.

Prayers for the Williams Family🙏🙏..there is no one like your Mother! We buried my Mother, and my Grandmother on the same day 01/20/18. My Grandmother (moms Mother) passed on the 10th, and my Mom on the 14th. We buried them side by side on the 18th. My mind is still not right. So with that being said, just love on your Mother while she is here. Love on your Family.💕
Her mother would be proud if Wendy in her honor would stay clean.
But that the thing about sobriety. Anything especially death can trigger you. She need to talk to a couselor for the rest of her life if she wants to stay clean

Because she is still using and this is one reason why. She is self medicating instead of running from rehab, and it's people like you who go easy on addicts that makes it easier for them to continue this destructive path. I'm not speaking about the people speaking truth and telling it how it is not the bullies. She needs a dose of truth not surrounded by yes men look what happened to Amy Winehouse and these other celebs that didn't have people telling them the truth. She has a problem and she needs to deal with it before it's too late.

Ain't none of us getting out of this alive. It always amazes me when people seems surprised when people die. She lived to be in her late 70:'s or 80's. That is a good life. We will all die I'm our 70"s, 80's or 90's. Hopefully not sooner unless we are suffering.

I was shocked to hear about Wendy's mother passing away. You could just tell what a close mother/daughter relationship they had. I love Wendy & that could explain alot of Wendy's behavior, which I thought nothing of. Today at age 71 & 12 years since mom died I cried because I still miss her. She was dying from leukemia over Christmas & my wonderful father passed two years later after mom on Christmas day. Indeed, Christmas has never been the same for me.
Losing a mom, who was also your best friend, can keep you in a constant state of depression. You really have to fight it. Prayers up for the Williams family.

I'm so sorry for Wendy's loss. Her mom was beautiful. It's been 14 years since I lost my mom so I know the pain. We never know what a person goes through. Maybe she was still grieving as to why she kept it a secret for a while. Moms are special and when they're gone it definitely leaves a void. Met her mom Rest in paradise.

My deepest condolences.
This certainly would explain a lot. When Wendy had seemed out of sorts for a while about a month ago and people even suspected a relaps to addiction. We all knew that she was struggling with these Covid times and isolation as well. And filming from her home just did not work out for her. It had to bee more lonely and depressing that her best friend in life had passed away. I tell you we never know everything that people are going through. But she kept that secret and mourned in her own way until she can speak about it now so comfortably. I am not the biggest fan of Wendy's ways, but that is strength.
